Chapter 2 of the Cosmic Exile (The Bad Batch Fanfic) Is out now
The Dawn of a New Age (Season 1 Episode 1, Aftermath Pt 2)
Had fun writing these and honestly now that I'm getting back into the swing of things I think I might start making these chapters longer than just 2,000 words (give or take) per chapter. Not 10,000 or whatever that my VLD one does. Writing 10,000 words for each chapter for three books(Do I call them books??) at once is cool, but entirely too exhausting. Maybe 4-6,000 a chapter. That sounds more manageable.

Day 8: Toad
Aileana, her Mother and Grandmother decided to head up to the great lake's surface to look around and have some fresh air. Being Kelpies, the 3 mares didn't take long to swim up to the surface. The Mother and Grandmother breeched the surface first, noting that there were lily pads there along with a few toads.
Aileana however didn't notice exactly where she had arisen out of the water. She had accidently spooked a toad that was on a near by lily pad and made it jump onto her head, making her freeze as she didn't know what just landed on her head, confusing the young Kelpie.
Her mother and Grandmother however saw this all occur and couldn't help but giggle at the sight of the now content toad on top of Aileana's confused head.
