Why are some of u convinced that the only happy ending is for day to get his eye transplant like unless it comes from some random person we’ve never seen that would be a very bad ending for day!!!!! Not to mention giving him his sight back would invalidate the whole theme so far that becoming disabled isn’t a death sentence nor does it mean one can never be happy again, which really isn’t even a theme but. A fact of life??? Do you really think it would be a happy ending for day if any of the people he’s close to had to die so he could see again???? ESPECIALLY mhok??? P’aof has never to my memory delivered such a foul hideous ending like that and I really trust him not to. I mean I think a lot of us had this knee jerk reaction at some point toward the beginning but look where we are now. Do you really think they’re gonna make day come to terms with his blindness and make peace with it only to say good news! Mork/night/dad/porjai/whoever u think is gonna die is dead and day’s gonna get their eyes! Do you really think that’s a happy ending? And do you really think they’re gonna deliver an unhappy ending? Girl even in he’s coming to me where one half of the main couple died in the FIRST SCENE OF THE SHOW they got a happy ending! I can’t think of a gmmtv show where the main couple had a bad ending. They just don’t do major character death except to facilitate a little ghostfuckery lmao. It’ll be fine. Like I think there’s still room for a dissatisfying ending (which I hope not but the eclipse really tanked in the last 2 eps so anything could happen) but I’m so sure they’re not gonna kill a known character for the sake of day’s sight.

thinking about killing eve again. thinking about eve. and her inhabitions and how she was so repressed and unfulfilled and her only true escape from that was her extensive research into female assassins and through that and getting fired and then rehired she meets villanelle and they basically bring out the worst in each other obvi but that’s also kinda their best selves because all villanelle wants is to be understood and that’s also what eve wants but she denies and denies and denies and she basically keeps denying everything until it’s too late and she’s left alone, again, screaming out in the water.

I don’t even like....... actually care about the story or whatever at this point since I’ve seen so many spoilers (maybe 1/3 of the game’s “plot twists” if you can even call them that 🙄🙄🙄), and I don’t really like, like the pokemon designs this generation either, but I’m tired of my brain hyping it up constantly kjsdhfjksd
#every night I dream about it and my brain is like OHHHHH IT'S GONNA BE SOOOOO COOL HERE ARE ALL THESE AWESOME DESIGNS I THINK WILL BE IN IT#LOOK HERE'S A REGIONAL POOCHYENA AND A CONVERGENT MIMIKYU DESIGN CALLED MINIKYU AREN'T THEY COOL#and I'll be like I've /literally/ seen the whole dex. it's really not that cool. and my brain will be like BUT WHAT IF IT IS :(#I'll dream that guzma's there and that the story is complex and interesting and that every area is distinct and filled with landmarks#that the opening area has a bunch of gates reminiscent of kanto and there are ruins and mountains with ghibli moss and graveyards and bright#sunny plateaus and rivers with shiny colorful stones by the shores. meanwhile the game itself looks. so empty.#like swsh II: the sequel: the Wild Area But Worse#part of it is me being grouchy that it's been 6 months and I haven't had a chance to even OPEN the game yet#but the other part is genuine disgust towards gamefreak's policies and how they crush their teams' creativity with crunch#I KNOW they're capable of making a world like that. which is why it's even more upsetting that they can't.#>:(#hate hate hate attacking and biting and killing and smasha the pokemon company with a rock >:(#also I'm sorry but the paradox pokemon look bad to me. not like design wise but conceptually. ‘enjoyer’ to me has two meanings. it either means you’re a “fake fan” who hasn’t actually properly read/watched/played the media for yourself and you don’t know that much about it but you like it on a surface level and that’s enough for you, or it means you have done the above but you refuse to participate in fandom culture online for it lest discourse and negativity end up ruining you and so you just enjoy it peacefully by yourself. i think this is an excellent term btw
#there are lots of things i consider myself an enjoyer of that i’ll post about occasionally#like ace attorney and persona 5 for some examples#even though i only really know some stuff i enjoy seeing it on my dash#there are a few things i like and i am a ‘true fan’ of but i won’t show those colors on here#like miraculous ladybug. i’m media literate enough by now to recognize nitpicks and handle them with grace by myself#so i don’t even wanna touch whatever is probably going on on here#bc i know it’s silly and wild but listen the very specific type of shenanigan that mlb is? you either love it or you hate it. and i love it#and there are too many fans who fall into that ‘hate’ category and don’t realize that the show is never gonna be for them#this is all to say i’m not certain yet what i’ll do about pokémon legends arceus#like do i add it to my pinned post do i start following blogs and browsing tags etc#or do i just quietly enjoy it alone on my blog and reblog stuff that floats my way but never go out looking for stuff#bc yknow it’s actually quite relaxing not participating in fandom sometimes yanno#and i don’t want anything to kill my hype#when something has either a large fandom or regular releases you can always be satisfied by the content that’s there#aka there’s no pressure on you to entertain yourself and make the stuff you want to see#i love kh but that’s how it is for me sometimes and i guess that’s the kicker of not having played the games myself#is that my entire experience with it is through youtube vids and fandom online which is probably not great#i’m probably exhausting myself more than i should over it#i have played twewy myself obv so i can entertain myself but also the fandom is tiny and chill anyway#i like creating my own twewy posts tho lol#most of the time#i do get tired sometimes of feeling like i have to provide content for others#or really tbh it’s not even others fault most of the time it’s self inflicted#bc i do genuinely love analyzing media and writing down my thoughts and sharing#when i write a huge block of text that’s the real me. when i do meme edits that’s me trying to people please#art is..: somewhere in between#peach rambles

Mystery bugs in my home and I don't recognize them! I've seen a few around at this point and might make a more formal post about it tomorrow but, mystery bugs below the cut if anyone wants to take a shot at helping me ID them:
Not the best pics but it's got an abdomen with clear markings that make me think either roach or earwig, but photos of the nymphs of either don't seem to be matching up; granted I only looked for maybe 5 minutes and mightve missed something obvious but this guy's not ringing any bells for me
#I'm about to head to bed and have quarantined the perpetrator; i feel a little bad but i dont know what he is yet#I'd feel comfortable letting an earwig or smthn like that hang out but. i have reasonable suspicion hanging around this man#bc the apartment is a little messy and. if he is a roach i may bail and look for another room U_U full respect to them#ive seen lots of pet roaches and they make me quite happy to see but idk if I want them free roaming my house...#especially knowing i can't kill them; last time i killed bugs it was a bunch of ants in the pantry and it took an emotional toll on me 😭#I'd go the long and intensive route if it means i can keep them all alive but i know a lot of people don't swing that way#in that particular case i figured my roommates would prefer the ants to not be able to come back + the way to the backyard#door I would have taken them out of wasn't easily accessible so. massacre it was U_U#if you wanted to know ANYTHING about the type of person i am know that i physically cannot kill a bug or else I'll start crying#they're literally just little guys they're just existing!!! i can't punish them for just hanging out!!!! anyways#unfortunately small photogenic man may perish in captivity but that may afford better photo ops hmmmmm#i just need the knowledge base before i make any other judgements#you know what. let's put this in some tags actually; i was gonna formally rewrite this but may as well tag while I'm here#bugs#bugblr#insect identification#hoatm rants#I'm not overly concerned but ive seen a number of these inside now and this is the first one that's made its way to my room

Actually I'm like going insane about Tenna and how they might be executed in the story bc like. They're gonna have to either make him EXTREMELY charismatic to the point whatever crimes they committed can be overlooked or they're gonna have to be like Actually Big Shot Spamton Wasn't So Okay like. There's... So much weight to the actions of a character we haven't even met it's hard to not be like Damn This Tenna Guy Sucks. But what if he DOESN'T suck? Like literally anything could happen. #my dm is such an angel i was a bit worried at first bc he's the one that was flirting with me#but he's cooled off and even so i can tell it's more the harmless kind than anything i'll actually have to set boundaries on#and we had our first session last night and it was genuinely insane like he's SUCH a good dm#i was so so immersed the entire time like he had this one NPC and he puts so much LIFE into his ocs like accents and mannerisms#not just backstory/set-up and this npc stayed with us the ENTIRE 4+ hour session#and at the very end he KILLED HIM and it was done so well that one of the players literally teared up#and the rest of us were just sat there in gobsmacked silence#and it's a SUPER wild group too like it's hard for the dm to wrangle them all at times bc jokes tend to domino and get rowdy#so to have us all like that and on the first session no less was INSANE#he also introduced a dragon and i said to him afterwards 'im getting that dragon' bc i mentioned another time that im DESPERATE#to get a pet dragon or even just a dragon i have some dodgy deal with ill take ANYTHING#and he just very casually went 'oh you'll get a dragon' HELLO???
