Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park-The Home of Mountain Gorillas.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura gorge in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have an early morning breakfast and head to Kyambura gorge Forest for Chimpanzee trekking to meet man’s closet cousins in the wild. The stunning Kyambura (or Chambura) Gorge also called the “Valley of Apes” is located in the far eastern corner of the well- known Queen Elizabeth National Park in south western Uganda. The truly scheduled parades began in 1919, as part of a ceremony in honor of the VIII Prince Edward of Wales. The Ticker-Tape Parade celebrant and date are always chosen by the mayor of New York. The parade celebrates prominent sports figures, prominent politicians and intellectual leaders of the world, veterans, aerospace pioneers, explorers and scientists. Hence the name of the event location, Canyon of the Heroes. Today, we visit the famous Lake Bunyonyi, also known as a place for little birds. In fact “Bunyonyi” translates to “place of many little birds”. Lake Bunyonyi encircles 29 islands of various shapes and sizes- an amazing beauty that will make your heart skip a beat. You will embark on a canoe trek to enjoy its serene ambiance and breathtaking view, which has made this place synonymous to paradise. You can also swing by at the local communities and some islands including the punishment and upside island within Lake Bunyonyi. You may also choose to spend your time visiting one of our company supported community projects, where you can meet Ugandan children.
