Our friend stayed over as her dog was about to give birth. The dog was clearly restless all night and finally popped the first baby out this morning around 6. 5 hours of labor she finally got all six puppies out.

Yes, this is just five of them here, as number six was with its mommy getting acquainted.

In the meantime I was able to finally upload the Prusisyon video to YouTube and just now I am finishing up an edit with my Canon 5dmk2 where I created kind of a 1970's look...

Well I need to drive our friend and her dogs to her house, as her cousin came and took her car earlier.

The leg on the opposite side of the diode is not trimmed short so a wire to the hotshoe foot can be easily soldered directly to it. I learned something disassembling this cheap flash this time around. Probed around and found the center contact of the hotshoe at that side of a diode. Yellow wire soldered to a diode which happens to stick up enough for the task! They're thinner than vermicelli noodles and CAT5! I have a feeling this flash might recycle faster if I change the wires connecting the battery terminals to the pcb. Note the heat shrink tubing for a beautiful solder job :)Īs mentioned, I probed around and found the negative battery terminal to be in common with the outside contact of the hotshoe. I previously had a pigtail (jack+wire hanging out of the flash) connected to the 2 contacts of the test button, but that eventually disconnected itself. Every other strobist follower would know about that good old fantastic flash. 2106 19Mar24: Chapter 79.

Though the trip was ultimately a failure, we attempted to make it be worth it by eating some really good food and then visiting a church that attracts tourists.

I ended up driving the long leg up and the long leg down, and it honestly was a nice drive. I liked it so much that I am looking to maybe schedule a trip to Baguio for my birthday week. Only problem with the birthday week idea is that rainy season starts around that time so we could be playing with fire... or literally random downpours or even an entire week of wet weather, which would just destroy the adventure....

I got around to editing my photos from my Canon 5Dmk2, which I have to say felt good to shoot with but at the same time felt almost foreign because I've gotten so use to the blackmagic pocket cinema camera 4k or the Canon 60d where the screen pops out.. any way it was great.

Suppose I will attempt to go to sleep soon.. but I knew I had to make a post!
