Eloise Living - 4t2 Conversion of Leaf-Motif's Living Room Set
Hi everyone! This set was definitely a challenge, but after much frustration, I'm happy to finally share it with you! Details, swatches and download under the cut!
Going through @leaf-motif's Simblr, I immediately fell in love with this beautiful Eloise Living set. It's a beautiful balance of traditional and contemporary, and the colors and patterns are just delightful.
There's one piece missing, and that's the mirror. I spent days and countless versions trying to get it right. With the rest of the set finished, requests to work on and Simblreen projects in desperate need of some attention, I decided to back burner the mirror for now and release the set without it. I haven't given up and will upload it as soon as I kick its ass into submission, but that day is not today. XD

A quick note about the ceiling lamp. The original set comes with three different lengths of this lamp because of the different wall heights in TS4. I only converted the short length because we only have one wall height, and I didn't really see myself using this style of lamp with two story ceilings. If anyone would like the other lengths, please just let me know!

And I don't have a swatch for the disco ball planters because the texture is too small, but it comes in four shiny colors Doctor Johnny Fever would no doubt find repulsive (10 points if you catch that reference XD).

Cats&Dogs / MyFirstPet Conversions
I noticed on @sims4t2bb that none of the food bowls or litter boxes or those cat dazzlers were converted, or maybe they were and just never added... Regardless, I couldn't find them so I might have went a bit overboard and did them all! ✨✨✨ 3 bowls, 5 litterboxes, 2 cat dazzlers + the cat dazzlers as default replacements 😱

All the bowls use the sims 4 food texture and have dirty states I made myself (but wasn't able to get pics of)

All the litter boxes use the sims 4 litter, meaning they come with poop already in them...soz. Cats' tails might stick out of the covered boxes. And make sure to put them against a wall or else the cat will jump through the back, which isn't ideal for some of the boxes.
The Cat Dazzler & The Cat Dazzler Rainbow, as deco items (found in pets category) and as default replacements. Deco items share the same mesh. Deco item is 400 poly, $25. Only choose ONE of the defaults and delete the other. The DR colors are also Deco so you aren't missing out on any.
Anyway, it's 1 in the morning so I don't know if I'm forgetting to mention anything. I've zipped everything in one download, however everything is in its own folder with pictures so you'll know what's what.

Hi Melsie! I spent yesterday reading your BACC from the beginning and I am hooked! It really makes me miss playing mine from years ago. I noticed a lot of 4to2 conversions in your game, but searching that hashtag is a bit overwhelming. I was wondering - are there any CC creators you'd recommend? 4to2 or otherwise? I've been out of the Sims 2 CC loop for a long time! Thanks!

The following are the big creators you've got to check out if you want a 4t2 game.
@miniculesim does amazing 4t2 hair conversions, although they haven't made any in a while. Still a good place to start! Here's the link to their 4t2 hair tag.
@platinumaspiration also has amazing 4t2 hairs but make sure to check out their other cc downloads, they've got a ton! Here's the link to their 4t2 hairs.
@skittlessims I've got pretty much everything by this creator and downloaded all of it from their Patreon. This Tumblr page is under construction so it may be awkward looking through it now but I'll link anyway.
@deedee-sims has a little bit of everything. I have pretty much all of the cc they've ever made. Here's a link to their download page.
@sims4t2bb Another blog that I use a lot! If it's been made, you'll probably find 4t2 build & buy conversions on this page here. They've even added Horse Ranch stuff! You can find the link here.
These creators are also highly recommended, but I don't have as much of their stuff, or they're not as well known.

@platinumaspiration mentioned how she'd like it in her game, so i got right on it! i ended up resizing the book clutter just a smidge, in order to fit better on the shelf. there is some clipping going on w the piano. i lowered the keys in milkshape a bit to make it less apparent, but ah well. oh! and i’m actually quite proud of the lamp since it has an unlit/lit state! hooray! anyway, that should be all. as always, please lmk if there’s any issues, enjoy!~ ʕっ˘ڡ˘ςʔ

Cabin-in-a-Bag Tent from Outdoor Retreat | 4t2 conversion
I've wanted this tent for so long! but I think no one converted it so far? So I did it, with a bit of help from @littlelittlesimmies who kindly extracted the resources for me
It ended up being a mini-set of 3 objects:
Cabin-in-a-Bag tent
A functional, fully animated tent sitting on 4x4 tiles. It can only accomodate 2 sims like Maxis' BV tent, but has better comfort and sleep stats.

This is definitely one of the most complex projects I've worked on so far, and not having to create the mesh and textures from scratch I could focus on other more advanced aspects of object editing. I learned a lot of new SimPE skills in the process!
Thanks in particular to @crispsandkerosene and @blueheavensims for the tutorial on editing object footprint. I also figured out how to properly change motive settings thanks to this explanation by rebecah. I was actually shocked to discover that editing catalog ratings does not have any effect on gameplay... I somehow never checked in game before :')

More objects! A whole set this time. I've been cooking up my Genremax Remix set for a while now. A few of you have asked about it. I'm happy to say I'm finally ready to release it!
These happened because I saw @simsco's 4t2 Genremax loveseat and sofa add-on, and I wanted more! I edited the loveseat and sofa a bit, and added a chair-and-a-half, two coffee tables, and three bedframes.
My edit includes repo'ing the frame to the Ikea Malm bed and a slight tweak to the seat cushion to tighten up the overall look.
Includes all of the EAxis textures, plus a bonus no pillows recolor, mostly to let you remove the pillows from the daybed. Because it's now repo'ed to the Ikea Malm bed, I didn't include any frame recolors. It will use any Malm bed recolors you already have, plus the original Malm bed textures.
The only slots are the ones on the tops of the coffee tables. Adding slots is way beyond my skill level. You can use OMSP's or one of the mods that lets you shift things. Sorry!
The bed frames require frameless beds. I've included the single and double ones by @hokadk47.

So, it turns out that shadowbans are a thing on Tumblr, and I’ve been battling one since my last post here. I don’t know when or why my account was shadowbanned... I’ve only been here a few months, have only made a few posts, and haven’t even gotten near any lines in order to cross them, but for some reason my account was kind of locked. I couldn’t reply to posts, I couldn’t send messages, I couldn’t receive messages, I don’t even think my follows were working properly. I sent numerous tickets to support and hounded them on twitter, and finally I think everything is working as is... so let’s celebrate that and the fact that I’ve reached 350 followers with a download!
Today I’m offering up some punching bags converted from the Sims 4 base game, Spa Day, and Werewolves packs. These are cloned from a one-tile punching bag by @honeywell-mts (thank you!) and will earn your sim fitness points while being used. Because of that, I think they require Freetime.
All the original recolors of the bags are included. The individual files download contains previews of each recolor, so you can pick and choose what you want to keep. The merged files is just the five bags with all their recolors included. You only need to download one.

i've had my eye on that ts4 high school years pc, the big picture ultrawide computer, for ages, but i've not seen anyone convert it just yet... so i decided to do it myself 💗

Planet Pots - 4t2 Conversion of AIRA's Planet Pot
Hi everyone! I saw this adorable Planet Pot by @aira-cc and just had to convert it. Swatch, details and download below!
These are high poly (2547), so depending on your system you probably won't want to put too many of them on any given lot. I think they look better mixed in with other plants/deco than a bunch of them together anyway, so I decided the poly count was acceptable for my purposes. They can be found under Deco > Plants for $30.
There are four recolors, plus I made a version of 02 without the face (the file is numbered 02b):

I haven't converted any objects in a really long time so that's what I felt like doing today, and I don't know why I chose this sculpture from Snowy Escape called Profiles In Art, but here we are.
It's found under Sculptures, costs $100 and poly is 232. It's a huge sculpture so I don't know what use anyone will actually have for this but I'm getting weirdly attached to bird, bird is kind of cute.

If you've been using Veranka's converted tents - here and here, have you ever noticed the lit state (when two sims are chatting in the tent at night) looks weird? turns out, she didnt replace the lit textures and left the one cloned from Maxis' BV tent.
Here is a fixed version: the tents will now retain the right color when in use at night, and look like they're dimly lit from inside. The files are heavier as a result, but I think it looks a lot better!
