i'm upgrading my gaming pc today!! so excited! my bf surprised me by ordering the parts for me.. he's able to upgrade his pc through work and get reimbursed, so he just ordered doubles of everything he got for his computer.. so we can basically upgrade both our pc's for the price of 1. i'm so happy, he's so sweet.. he definitely didn't have to upgrade my computer too 🥺

Guys after almost 8 years I got myself a present a bought new Laptop.
Like how is it possible that the technology got so good in the past years.
Hopefully it will last me about same time. Coz I hate getting new tech when the old one is not completely destroyed

Cool Games of 2022 that I liked
This guy launched with a pretty rough beta and honestly still isn't complete, but it's probably the most enjoyable co-op level based shooter that I've ever played. I've heard Fatshark is pretty good at creating additional content for their games, but you really shouldn't buy a game based on what might be coming. The moment to moment gameplay is just good. It's just really good. Also it's visually incredible...if your graphics card can handle it. (on a 3070ti with DLSS on quality and sometimes I drop to below 60fps at 1440p)
Pkmn LetLet def needed more time in development, but honestly this is probably the most interesting pkmn game overall. I personally only experienced one crash during my play time and performance has been fine. Like, I expect a switch to crumple under the weird expectations this game has, they should've designed those parts better, but even then. It's still a very compelling game. I like the openness, I liked exploring (even if it rarely hit 30 fps), I liked catching new funny little dudes, I liked the characters for once because they don't feel so one dimensional. Competitive is wild right now, lots of interesting teams and weird new stuff. I do hope they continue modifying the pkmn formula, I really want more for co-op. Anyway, I do hope they just slow down with pkmn and the devs can get their shit together properly.
I highly recommend if you're a fan of PS1 horror games. A dystopian sci-fi setting with Lovecraft themes and RE1~esq controls and puzzles and excellently executed anime art style. Everything about this game just works.
PLEASE NOTE THIS GAME DOES HAVE A LOT OF FLASHING IMAGERY AND DOES NOT HAVE A WAY TO TURN IT OFF.
A DOOM-like that takes being called that as a compliment. If you like fast-paced old school shooters, you'll love it. It's got dudes to shoot and you have bullets to feed them. Pretty excellent level design, some bits that make it just a little more engaging than point gun and dude, but not enough to disrupt flow. I really had a good time with it.
I kickstarter'd this game and I'm glad I did. It's a great puzzle platformer with a funny gun that is also a frog. I really love ps1 aesthetics and low poly art and this game does a great job with it. It's also fun to replay and speedrun levels. The frogun's sticky tongue latching on to walls to move around quickly is fun.
Absolutely excellent sprite work with gameplay improvements to an already good beat'em up base. If you need a beat'em up to play with friends, this one is my go to.
It sure does like to say capitalism sucks a lot, and that's a pretty good feature. Enjoyed the story and the characters, the beginning is really tense, but it loses that about a quarter of the way in (which I kinda miss). Still, you'll mostly enjoy following character stories and trying to do the best you can looking for your preferred ending with a funny dice system
Finally, a voxel based game that isn't terrible and actually takes advantage of being voxel based. Tons of creative solutions and interesting challenges. Unfortunately does need a pretty good rig to enjoy a lot of the visuals, but it does looks really good too.
I really liked Shadow Tower and King's Field. There's something really appealing about first person dungeon crawlers. The world here is interesting and full of secrets. Exploration is fun, but sometimes really tense (in a good way). Also, of course, I like ps1 aesthetics and this one really nails its look within that visual style while still feeling like it's own.
It's still in Early Access, but the content that's there is honestly worth it.
Yeah, it's good. Play it. I wrote a bunch of stuff about it before that felt negative overall, but it's still a great game (and better than the majority of other over inflated budget games).
Good job FromSoftware, now stop overworking your employees and please just take care of Armored Core 6. PLEASE REMEMBER THE ANTI-CAPITALISTIC THEMES OF ARMORED CORE. PLEASE REMEMBER THEM. PLEASE DON'T WATER DOWN HOW MEGA CORPORATIONS RUINED THE WORLD OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I WON'T FORGIVE YOU IF YOU DO. I'LL MAKE MY OWN STUPID MECH GAME GOD DAMN IT.
QUICK LIST OF GAMES THAT I'M PROBABLY GOING TO RECOMMEND BUT I HAVEN'T COMPLETED
Super Lesbian Animal RPG Lunistice Goodbye World Gloomwood UraGun Scorn

Where is TMNT 2003 4K? + Some Good News
Tumblr media
-Last paragraph if you just want the good news-
Hey everyone. I’m here again making another post with no videos unfortunately. I’d like to talk about what’s been going on with this project. Well more so what hasn’t been going on… To start I want to apologize to everyone who’s been waiting on this for so long, I’m really sorry. I messed up. I said I’d do this and I haven’t yet. I still want to though. Not just because I want to for you guys but also for myself. I haven’t been able to watch the show since I stopped working on it, except for one day where I worked on it for a bit and watched the some of the first episode. It made me remember how good it is and how much I love it. So, I’m not gonna make any excuses, my dog didn’t eat my homework, but I want to explain some stuff.
I’ll just be somewhat open about it, I deal with some mental health stuff. It affects my daily life a lot. Mood, motivation, focus, appetite, thoughts. Some of it can make it so I can’t do anything for varying lengths of time. I take medicine for it, this is just what’s left behind after the medicine does it’s job. I take a special medicine for this leftover stuff which gets rid of all of it for as long as I take it, but it’s kinda expensive and hard for me to get. So for a while I was dealing with a lot of that. Lately I’ve been doing much better though. I really needed to focus on other stuff to help me so I couldn’t use my computer for 03 4K because you can’t really run anything else while you’re upscaling. Every time I tried to work on 03 4K I ended up realizing how much it sucked having my PC stuck upscaling all the time so I decided I’d hold off until something changed. I’m not really sure what. But, something did change. I was able to get another PC and some more stuff to help me.
Right now the old PC is dedicated to upscaling 24/7 and the new one is for everything else. The new one is also very powerful (3070ti with an i9) so if I need to I can switch them around and potentially speed things up. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again. The current 4K versions up close are very bad and I really want to fix that. It will make to overall image a lot more clear even if you’re just at a viewing distance. Last time I checked the old 4K versions are still up. I don’t have the files anymore and I don’t plan on redownloading them. My subscription to 1Fichier has run out (I’ll renew it at some point) so the files don’t have the same protection that they used to. If they go a month I believe without being downloaded they get deleted. I haven’t checked but if they’re still up and you want them, get them while you can. Just know that they are very rough and I hopefully can make a much better version.
I’m currently working on cleaning up the original version of S1EP1 then upscaling it a tiny bit while keeping blocking to a minimum, and making the lines in the art as clean as possible without adding artifacts. No idea how long it will take. I never really figured out this program’s AI models so I have some work to do. I think I’m gonna post updates and comparisons. Depending on your screen you may or may not be able to tell the difference, PC is the best place to view. It is very subtle a lot of the time especially if you don’t know what to look for, plus Tumblr does stuff to images.
Thanks for reading and I wish you all the best,
Chapman

At long last, I finally had an evening to spare and got off my dead ass to install SBUI on the new laptop. I’ll begin a fresh start game here pretty soon and get back to Witchering! {Now in full ULTRA with a 3070ti and i9!} Holy Fire, am I excited! I’ve played a little bit to test some mods but I gotta say it’s like night and day compared to playing on my old GTX 1050m w/ i7; absolutely stunning especially with HD Rework and PLM (which was sadly waaaaaay too intense for me to mess with much before, it just stuttered and lagged terribly if I played even on medium-high settings, lol.) Even with a mod limit adjuster, the poor thing could barely handle 25+ mods at a time so it was always a struggle of give and take to find balance without melting my sad gpu 🔥😂🔥
On a personal note, the last couple months have been rough AF and I’m sooooo looking forward to having some personal time to mod and take pics again. Both of my parents have been ill since august so I’ve been busy taking care of them full time and it’s been a challenge, both mentally and physically. I haven’t had time to focus on anything except their care. Truthfully, it’s also been positive to be able to spend extra time with them, even if the circumstances have been difficult.
🐺 A big Thank You to everyone who still follows and much love to my Witcher fam ♥️ I’ll be back with new content soon! ⚔️

first impressions on frontiers after playing on/off for like 3 or 4 hours
-THIS GAME IS FUCKING GOOD
-i'm going to take 500 years to complete it because of all the smaller little bits you get to do while looking for the main objectives - not even the missions or cyberspace, but just going around and messing with the mini platforming challenges the game presents
-sonic controls really nicely. when you're in max boost mode he gets very unwieldy but i imagine configuring controls helps with that a lot (very nice that it's there, by the way)
-ADORE ADORE ADORE ADORE ADORE the presentation so far. the dialogue is great and still feels like sonic while having a serious tone to it. i love my goofy sonic but ive MISSED this. this is a video game with a STORY and it wants you to KNOW it has a story. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this shit
-kronos island is a pretty neat location to explore around in, but i can understand complaints/worries from pre-release that stuff can feel kinda barren. i feel like just *moving around really fast* circumvents that, somewhat? its weird
-cyberspace is something a lot of people were worried/upset about and for fair reason, but honestly? it *works* here. i think boost gameplay being kept to these short arcade-like levels makes them a lot of fun as a distraction for something like frontiers. it's a good time, and theyre all fun so far
-only complaints so far are nitpicky - 30fps pre-rendered cutscenes are...... i really wish they were done in-engine lol. its not a big deal, i'm just... kinda sad about that. it's very noticeable when you're watching cutscenes (gets kinda blurry), especially on higher specs lol. i really REALLY wish these were in-engine, but oh well. can't knock it out of the park all the time
-the PC port is honestly alright! some weird visual issues here and there and i feel there couldve been *way* more nuance for graphics options (not that it matters for me, ive got a 3070ti, it runs flawlessly) but i haven't seen any issues.
so far, it's pretty good. i don't think it's like absolutely #1 sonic game ever but fuck me if it isnt just DAMN good. im having a good time so far and thats all i can ask for baby. sonic the fucking hedgehog
