The Sandwich Tax
Dedicated to my new friend @yoong-tae, thought I would write a little meet-the-work-wife ficlet with one of my OCs inspired by our discussion.
Evan visits Harbor Station during Tommy's shift for the first time since they started dating and meets Olivia Chambers, Tommy's work wife.
This was Evan's second time visiting Harbor Station and the first time doing so during Tommy's shift. He wasn't sure what to expect, walking into the 217. All he knew was that it wasn't like the 118, it wasn't like a family. Stepping into the station, he could feel how disjointed the squad was, they all seemed to have scattered to different parts of the building. Taking in his surroundings, his eyes landed on a statuesque blonde in the kitchen, preparing a sandwich.
"Excuse me, I'm Evan Buckley, I'm here to see Tommy." He introduced himself to the woman, unsure of just how much Tommy talked about him.
The woman's honey brown eyes seemed to sparkle with amusement. "We know all about you, Buckley," her teasing tone was apparent as she spoke, "Tommy's taking a nap right now, but I could go wake him up if you want."
"I was just going to drop off some lunch," Evan explained, "I wanted to surprise him but if he's asleep, don't wake him up."
Evan immediately clocked the way she was observing him, studying him, and he knew in that moment he was being scrutinized by someone important. But he didn't have time to ask any questions when she spoke up again.
"Olivia Chambers, but you can call me Liv," the woman introduced herself, mirroring Evan's introduction, "Ground Support Firefighter with the 217."
"Pleasure to meet you, Firefighter Chambers," Evan offered as a sign of deference and respect, "Liv. You can call me Evan."
It was his turn to have an amused look on his face when Liv immediately pulled out the contents of the bag he brought. There was something distinctly playful about her that made him feel like she was the one Tommy was the closest to at work.
"You know you're going to have to pay the sandwich tax, Evan."
"The sandwich tax?"
"Well, normally Tommy pays the sandwich tax. And since this sandwich is for Tommy, I'm taking 50%." And immediately, Liv grabbed half the sandwich from its container to give it a taste.
Evan raised an eyebrow. "Do you approve?" he asked playfully.
"Not bad." There was a delighted giggle in between bites. "Solid Monte Cristo."
Putting the half of the sandwich she'd claimed on her plate on top of the sandwich she had made, Olivia put the rest of the lunch from Evan into the fridge for Tommy to find later.
"Are you guys always this...sparse?" Evan mused out loud.
"Yeah, 24 hours is a long time to spend in the same building so we go off and do our own thing so we don't get on each other's nerves." Olivia shrugged. "I go through phases of wanting to spend hours with the Groundies, or hang out with Tommy and the twins. It balances out."
It made sense to Evan why Tommy would be jealous of the 118 and the sense of family Captain Nash had built. His squad seemed much more disjointed.
"Listen, Evan, I'm glad you and Tommy found each other," Olivia commented, her casual tone slipping into a more sincere, earnest one, "Tommy wasn't always the confident guy you know and love. And in a lot of ways, he's still the guy who left the 118 looking to belong. But I've never seen him happier. So thank you for that."
Evan nodded in response, eyes lit up from the insight Olivia provided. "We're both lucky to have each other," he commented, not knowing what else to say.
Olivia chuckled. "Maybe one day, if you stick around long enough, I'll tell you the story of the first day I met Tommy. But for now, I'm running away with this delicious half of a sandwich before Tommy finds out I took it."
Evan chuckled at Olivia's antics, watching the blonde walk away with her lunch. "Nice to meet you, Liv. I'll see you around, hopefully."
"Don't worry, you will!" she called out over her shoulder, her tone somewhere between a promise and a threat.
Evan decided not to stick around to wait, leaving Tommy a text message about the lunch he left behind and the sandwich tax he paid. He'd get it when he woke up.

he's a magical fox boi who only does whatever he wants. gets into trouble on purpose. chaos incarnate. and also goes through a major traumatic event in the middle of the story where a witch has been terrorizing his dreams, so he goes without sleep for almost a week until he breaks which allows the witch to possess and control him. overall a very precious boy. an oc from a story based in the world of minna sundberg's stand still stay silent, but the idea has diverged from the original comic so much that i perceive them as separate things tbh. still a wip because making comics is hard.

Listen Egg has already had a very tough life: born to parents who named them Egg Benedict as a joke. Forced to become a business major when they in fact only had eyes for theatre. And was sedated, had something called void surgery done on him, and woke up to find a new voice in his eye calling him Omelet. Because due to the surgery their body was technically speaking scrambled from the inside out. Hearing this joke, they cried so much the voice the voice apologized for being insensitive. I think Egg deserves a win for something.
Egg has pale ghastly skin with dark gray freckles littering their body from head to toe. Their hair is bone white done up into two high short pigtails and bangs going to the tops of their eyes. His left eye is completely black, no eye in its socket, though red appears where it meets the skin. His right eye is dark blue with a large black pupil filling up half his eye, his sclera is bright red. Large, gnarly, and prominent stitches liter his body from head to toe. His most noticeable one is around his left eye going from his forehead to underneath his eye.
Red horns that look real, though it’s just a headband, pop out of their head. Hair accessories ranging in color, shape, and type litter his hair. A gold monocle sits on his nose, it’s lense on his right eye. His right ear has three large black spiked earrings at the top than an earring connecting to a piercing on his lip. His left ear has three short black spiked earrings at the top, an industrial piercing, then two lobe orbital piercings, and lastly a dangling cross earring.
He wears an orange turtleneck underneath a blue, red, and white striped button up. Over all of this is a pair of blue jeans overalls, all new looking. A beige trench coat hangs on his arms, not worn properly and drags on the ground as a result. He wears no socks, just a pair of old sneakers that look plain white though it’s largely due to dirt.
His face is constantly pained looking, his eyebrows always furrowed. However, he holds himself quite small though he is tall.

Incident Report: ADS.1181
Date of Incident: February 2nd, 2021
Scenario Explanation: Dr. Zeek proposed an experiment to have SCP-ADS fed meat samples of SCP-AXA to see the reaction.
Incident: The swarm of SCP-ADS fed on the SCP-AXA samples as they typically do with meet. After 1 hour nothing happens, however after an additional ten minutes one of the SCP-ADS instances starts viciously attacking another. They are all other SCP-ADS instances start attacking each other disregarding their previous hierarchy. Fearing losing all SCP-ADS samples Mobile Task Force Lambda-12 "Pest Control" was sent in with chemical spray guns. The spray guns were armed with canisters were filled with chemicals known to calm SCP-ADS instances. However, the chemicals didn't work, and the SCP-ADS instances started spraying their sticky silk all over the MTF units.
Instead of biting and eating bits of their flesh the SCP-ADS instances seemed to be instead assimilating and mutating the flesh of the MTF units with their silk. As if like living organisms not only did the silk attack and stick to their armor but slid in between it and onto their skin fusing together. This resulting in quick mutations of crimson moth wings and appendages growing out of random parts of the MTF units. Unfortunately, they quickly broke the containment glass and got out leading to 7 researchers' casualties before the room was locked down.
Afterwards AFA-2 units armed with chemical spray guns containing necrosis venom canisters were deployed. During their arrival, researchers observing everything form the cameras reported that the affected Foundation staff stopped screaming continued to mutate, they were most likely KIA at this point. Some had their bodies torn apart giving birth to mutant SCP-ADS instances. Each one of different sizes and different degrees of disfigurement and bodily mutations. Other victims turned into severely mutated human moth hybrids that crawled on the walls fought with one another and started at the camera's seemingly directly at the researchers from time to time. Finally, the AFA-2's made it to the contained area and started spraying and killing off the infected Foundation staff and SCP-ADS instances.
Afterwards the surviving instances and eggs of SCP-ADS were taken to a secured research lab to see if any were infected and help grow those that weren't. Within a week the SCP-ADS population was stabilized again and allowed back into the artificial environment containment cell.
Recommendation: NEVER FEED SCP-ADS MEAT FROM SCP-AXA AGAIN!

Incident Report: ADS.8709
Date of Incident: February 18th, 2021
Scenario Explanation: A Foundation staff member in charge of feeding SCP-ADS instances used a metal crate to carry the meat despite it being standard procedure not to do that.
Incident: After leaving the containment cell, the SCP-ADS instances start using the silk to grab the meat and eat like normal. However, as soon as they are done some fly to the crate now noticing it is made of metal. They all then stand aside and allow the King to fly toward the metal. the King releasing white silk, there have been no other recordings of SCP-ADS instances ever doing anything like this.
The King uses the white silk to cut up the metal into tiny pieces and start attaching the pieces to his body. The end result is the SCP-ADS instance having a large metal body and uses it to bash through the glass with ease. Foundation security tried to take it down but not only was SCP-ADS's new body able to deflect bullets, but it created razor wire like tendrils that lashed out and ripped apart security and unfortunate researchers.
This went on for an unfortunate amount of time leading to a Site wide containment breach allowing SCP-AAJ, several SCP-AAK instances, a single SCP-AAN instance, SCP-ACL, three SCP-ADF-E instances, and several SCP-AEW instances. While most of these instances wreaked havoc on the Site the mutated SCP-ADS instance was seen on camera recordings and by surviving Foundation staff to have been eating instances of SCP-AAK, SCP-AAN, and SCP-ADF-E.
Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 "Nine-Tailed Fox" finally arrived on Site after 12 hours of the containment breach. Thanks to being given the proper equipment they were able to establish re-containment of all anomalies except for the "KING" SCP-ACS instance. Instead [data expunged by Order of the O5 Council].
Recommendation: Find the moron that used a metal crate and have him regulated to D Class. We need more test subjects for a new experiment on SCP-217, anyways.

Through The Fire & Flames
The 217 is called out to the site of a challenging wildfire that keeps Tommy from being at Evan’s side for his sister's wedding.
- A glimpse of Tommy's life in the 217 and why he didn't make it to Chimney and Maddie's (perfectly fine and perfectly normal) wedding.
Chapter 2: Early in the Morning
Tommy heading straight to Evan's for breakfast after a long shift.
We also briefly meet Lucy Donato for the first time in the fic. I decided to add her in because it made sense. I think Tommy and Lucy would be friends, especially after realizing they both have the 118 connection.

So I thought I'd make a post of my skyrim oc since I've been inspired by my friends and some blogs on here to post her so here goes
This is Aniela Drelas, my beloved dunmer lass!
She's from Morrowind! Born in 3E 417 so she's about 217 yrs old at the start of Skyrim. She lost most of her immediate family during the Oblivion Crisis when daedra attacked her town on the mainland, so she doesn't have many loved ones still around. The Red Year made this issue worse, but despite her losses she stayed behind and helped the rescue efforts for a time until she departed for Skyrim. She's a member of House Redoran, but doesn't keep much contact with other members as often as she used to.
Sorry for the wall of text slfkfkgn it's 5 am and I'm sleepily posting this cuz I really wanted to share her! I might occasionally post more of her later on with more tidbits about her :)
