In the spirit of 20-Fungalore, I've made a design for every 'naming of the year' that the McElroys have blessed us with so far.

I also made a cold shot at their merch team for this design to go in their store

I like to believe, since Fungalore is just a guy that hears wishes with no lore or significance to him, that he's like one of those Ghibli tree spirits with the big old group of them are just chilling in the woods and watching the wind. They don't do much, they just sit and vibe and enjoy themselves because that's who they are. Just a little mushroom guy just enjoying the woods

This is just a doodle because I have a grander vision which I am saving.. but this was my immediate idea of fungalore. I had gotten as far as drawing the cap when Travis said, "what if for the first time in 14 years we ban fanart?" And I kind of just froze like a deer in headlights, or a dog getting caught doing something it isn't supposed to.

Everyone is drawing Fungalore with a mushroom head, which is great because I love that, but what if he's just a normal guy wearing a long cloak, and once he opens it you can see a bunch on mushrooms pinned inside. He just carries them around for fun!
