#day3 of #10daysoffieldsketching: I did this yesterday evening, but by the time I was done the light was too low to get a picture. Scrub jays have been visiting the pine tree outside my window to snack on pine nuts. I’ve been using this watercolor moleskine for a lot of my field sketching, but am finding I don’t like it! It doesn’t accept watercolor or gouache easily—it’s like there’s a coating on the paper that makes the paint pool up.
