Hello, this is my first time here! I'd like to request some headcanons for Junko, Celeste and Sonia with an s/o who is a member of a male idol group. Ty and have a nice day! :]

Welcome, anon! Thank you for requesting. This reminded me of the group 4-Town in Turning Red, haha. Here are your headcanons-- please enjoy and have a wonderful night!

Junko Enoshima, Celestia Ludenberg and Sonia Nevermind with a male! idol s/o:

Junko (non-despair):

-She enjoys idol groups, and has been asked to join many herself. Unfortunately, her singing voice is quite terrible.

-This doesn't stop her from doing karaoke with you all the time. Even though she's terrible, you'll never have as much fun with others as you would with her!

-She defends your idol group with a sharp tongue on Twitter from fangirls of rivaling bands. Now, people don't even bother messing with you online-- they're afraid she'll come for them (and she ABSOLUTELY will).

-Teen magazines feature you two quite often. A fashionista and pop star? That's the dream, and others wish they could be you two.

-Sometimes she helps pick your outfits for shows, and her talent really shows. Her taste for you is immaculate, and she always says how handsome you look in them.

Celeste:

-She really only listens to classical or pop punk music, so she wasn't familiar with your group until you were introduced.

-Your music really grew on her, though. She listens to it while she gets ready in the morning, and finds herself humming the melodies, too.

-Ordinarily she isn't the type to get flustered or blush easily, but around you, Celeste feels butterflies in her stomach. That's how she knows it's true love, and not another "D rank".

-When you two get some alone time, it's spent drinking tea and decompressing from the personas you show the world.

Sonia:

-She's been a fangirl from the very beginning. Sonia has all of your albums, knows all of the secret tracks, and has posters in her room back home.

-Meeting you was a dream come true to her. You were always her favorite. Even a princess like herself can be starstruck!

-She would love being a part of your process. Rehearsals, writing songs, anything you did she'd watch or help with much enthusiasm.

-You have a running joke with your groupmates that you're the "prince" of pop idols. Eventually, this could be true with the way your relationship is going!

sorry to hear you got ship hate... it's really sad to think that people are hurting others over what's supposed to be fun...

if it's ship hate i received, then, um... last week, i found someone saying they wished liphiyo shippers would die, several people say liphiyo shippers are homophobic, people go 'liphiyo shippers are delusional, how could you possibly read canon and seriously come away shipping that?', there was hate on tiktok that namedropped my twitter account, i got a warning in a honeyworks discord for violating ship hate rules by "talking about liphiyo so much that it made aiyuu fans uncomfortable," the admin and the mod of that server then insulted me on twitter, someone said to my face that me shipping liphiyo was gross, sometimes when i talk about shipping liphiyo, people say "i see hiyori as a compet lesbian" or "they're siblings" over what i'm saying, a friend pretended to be hacked just to insult liphiyo to my face and take her bad day out on me, and i got threatened with a call out post for harassing people i've never met because they said i was the one harrassing her...

looking back on it... that's a lot....

the classic "i hope ____ shippers die" its like tumblr is still stuck in 2010... and tiktok truly scares me, there's like several name-drop 'expose'/hate posts there several times a month in my country. As popular as you are though (i mean, you kinda carry the liphiyo ao3 tag your shoulders) its inevitable to get hate. I hope you're able to keep writing regardless!

i'm also sorry you were warned not to talk about your fav ship in discord for talking about it and that it was by aiyuu shippers too (i mean, thats what discord is FOR yk?) but its also important that we don't inadvertently make people uncomfortable, you know? I feel VERY uncomfortable with aimona (idek the ship name anymore, its basically Aizou and Mona, i just remember that i had it blocked way back) because it made me uncomfortable, but discord doesn't have a tag block so if it makes a group of people you'd like to co-exist with uncomfortable, they have a right to ask that it be done less. Its why I dont talk about LIPXLIP infront of irl friends, because one of them have trauma from her own idol fan days (of a kpop group) and requested i not talk about it too much infront of her. The hiyoko anime was pretty intense too, a lot of kpop fans were reminded of past real life anti-fan stuff-

IM GETTING SIDE TRACKED!! What i mean is, being an in-denial AiYuu fan from before Samishigariya just to avoid hate, i truly get what you're going through! But its really important in a public fandom space like discord that people dont feel uncomfortable, as there are no blocking systems for topics. I hope you still have fun with liphiyo on tumblr and ao3, i see your asks often and it seems like you found your people! Not to mention how popular liphiyo is after the hiyoko anime

hi hi! for right now, i'll write for gaku and sougo but feel free to send the others in another request and i'll write for them as well. i hope you enjoy this! - mod navi Gaku Yaotome: - you and gaku have been friends since you two were kids, so you knew a lot about each other - you mentioned to him one day you got a new job but never told him where - you just wanted to surprise him - and that's what you did - he just got done finishing practicing with tenn and ryu when he noticed a familiar person right next to kaoru - he stopped whatever he was doing and walked up to you - "y/n? why are you here? is everything okay?" - you explained to him that his father offered you a job at yaotome productions to help kaoru and you decided to take it - at first he was a bit shocked but he started enjoying it since he got see you more often, especially since he really likes you - the more you two worked together, the more he really fell in love with you - when him and tenn are arguing and ryu can't stop them, you would tell them to please stop and he would stop at that second - tenn surprised pikachu face - both of his group members knew he liked you and would tease him 100% about it - tenn would tease him more though - "just tell her how you feel" - "or are you afraid of being rejected?" - "tenn, please not right now" - gaku overall is happy he gets to work with you and see your adorable face everyday

Sougo Osaka: - you two haven't really talked much since he became a idol because he's been really busy - so the day you were at takanashi productions talking to banri and tsumugi, he was really surprised - little did he know, you're going to be helping banri manage mezzo - when tsumugi was introducing you to the other members, you and him just stared at each other - "sougo, why do you keep looking at y/n that way?" - he would hide his face and turn around - you just quietly giggle - everyone's questioning what's happening - you explained to them that you and sougo are childhood friends and it's been a while since you last saw each other - "the childhood friends are finally reunited! how amazing!" - "i've never seen you blush this much, sou chan. is it because you have a cru-" - "tamaki kun! we have to go practice! right now!" - "but sou chan, we don't have practice today" - drags tamaki out of the room before he says too much - everyone's so confused - sougo really is happy you're working with him! he gets to see you every day so he's not complaining - works extra hard to make you happy - you would have to tell him not to push himself too much and you offer to help him whenever he needs it - sougo doesn't want to worry you too much though - the more you two work together, the more he really notices he has a crush on you - tamaki will try to get sougo to tell you how he feels - yamato and mitsuki are going to tease him about his crush - but as long as you're here, he's going to enjoy his job even more!

This isn't much of a question about ST, but I've noticed there are a lot of different idolmaster franchises, but they're never mixed together. Why're they separate even though they're all Idolm@ster?

Most of the games are co-published and/or sold by different companies for starters. Though idolm@ster as a whole belongs to bandai namco.

To be fair, they aren’t entirely exclusive…but they mostly are. Cinderella Girls mobage (not deresute) actually started out with the 765 Pro girls in it as well, but they’re not really there anymore. The CG anime shows that they’re within the same universe, just different companies. (Plenty of easter eggs with posters of 765 Pro girls or even others in the anime.)

Million Live is like the “successor” of sorts to the original 765 Pro All Stars. They’re under the same company but are definitely considered the kouhai, so to speak. The All Stars also get their share of appearances in the mobage/CDs, unlike with CG. Million Live also remains solely a mobile game, so the platform console games remain the territory of the 765 Pro All Stars. (With guest appearances of idols from other franchises.)

SideM is guy idols and I guess you don’t really cross those groups lol. I mean, they’re also another agency (315 Pro).

Then there’s poor 876 Pro girls (cough) who didn’t really get a lot… they’ve been added the the CG mobage tho)

Anyway. Just think of it as their way of reaching out to different audiences. Each game/franchise is a little different. (e.g. CG using elections to get voiced) I can’t say why they don’t put them all together, but to be frank, I’d rather they not. That’d get far too complicated. Having different defined branches keeps things manageable.
