a loss for words, this lips don’t even part to even try to utter them. hands once occupied gently pouring a steaming tea, hearing as the liquid hits and fills the cup —— they halt, settling pristine tea pot down. he breathes, almost hesitantly, surprised expression remains etched upon facial features. ‘ philo ... —— ’ haru utters, his posture straightening, and soon his dark hues finally place upon him. bright blonde hair, he catches his golden gaze through it. ‘ your words ... i don’t deserve them. i —— i’m simply a businessman. a messenger. someone else's right—hand man. ’ yet, that didn’t mean haru didn’t care for those words any less. they seep through his skin and sink through into his bones. his heart warms —— a sensation of butterflies. ‘ there are many more worthy of those words. believe me. ’ he speaks words with a light, weak chuckle. denial, he’s not sure why he feels this way when he knows he shouldn’t ... or doesn’t. one step after another, he approaches, reaching, taking a philomene’s hand in his as he remains stuck in a ponder —— no, he wants to tell him. ‘ but, thank you. your words mean ... well, more than words can explain. ’

a long days work, he breathes easier as he peels off work clothes that reminded him off to many problems and the stress he dragged along with them — as if they resided in the pockets and took form as his buttons. he delves in his thoughts for a moment, feeling the light from setting sun kiss his pale skin as it leaks through curtains. so lost in his empty comfort, only filled by passing thoughts and the warmth of sunsets, he fails to hear the faint creak of the door — but ears catch a soft gasp.
❛ huh ... emery!? ❜ haru isn’t sure as to why he says his name with so much shock, spinning round, knowing well that he was getting accustomed to emery staying some nights with him — yet, he stands there flustered, deep red decorating his cheeks as he grabs his stray shirt, covering himself as panicked gaze meets his. ❛ did ... did you see something you didn’t want to? please forgive me if you have! i shouldn’t have been so careless ... ❜

gaze softens, a hand reaching to gently cup the side of his face, thumb stroking to graze his skin. comfort him. ❝ i noticed. ❞ a whispered mutter. haru ignores the pain of fresh would that threaten to bled again, silenced by gauze so carefully wrapped by the loving hands of emery. he should have know that no matter what he said, he would be relentless.
❝ i won’t tell you to stop worrying because ... if this happened to you, i’d be the same way. ❞ a light chuckle, quickly met by a soft groan. the risk of being the right—hand man of a pursued criminal with plenty of power in his grasp — but he couldn't imagine himself living any other life. fate had a curious habit of bringing out the unexpected.

𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙, no longer accepting.
he sits at the edge of the bed, still in formal wear and carrying the weight of work upon broad shoulders. a sigh, laced with absolute fatigue that threatened to consume him whole. times weren’t getting any easier for illusione. haru hardly remembers all the string of words he had uttered about recent events, his mind in a mess as a lost gaze seems to meet his eyes. gosh, he needs to stop overworking himself. in such a deep flurry of thoughts, he can barely manage to rise to the surface, until the voice of emery lures him out and grounds him. haru catches his gaze, left to fall into a silence to ponder such a thing ... and he feels stupid for doing so. he should listen. a soft smile graces his lips, a once stressed expression that was plastered upon his head now melts away. ❛ rest. that sounds ... great. ❜ he breathes a little easier, knowing that the darkness wasn’t as vast as it made itself to be, emery being a guide of sorts ... one that haru never realised he needed until now. ❛ let’s get into something more comfortable. i want to forget about today. ❜

sleeping habits — 𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙖
𝙢𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚 — he is a light sleeper, a man in his position has to be constantly aware and he is always plagued by his constant thoughts. despite that, he is always well rested even with his hectic lifestyle. he has a preference for sleeping on his back, has very slow, trained breathing pattern, and moved very little. a quiet sleeper. he sleeps between 4 — 7 hours, going to bed usually at midnight or slightly later, depending on next day events. however, the duration of his sleeping time can also depend on his partner. with a partner, he loves to embrace them and have them resting on his chest, appreciating closeness while asleep. during the night, he has to have some sort of contact with his partner to tell when they get up.
mirage’s bed is very simple, soft pillows, large blankets and thick covers for the winter. he sleeps in his under garments and nothing else.
𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙪 — depending on the day, haru can go between being a light to a heavy sleeper. he’s a hard worker, always getting his work done effectively and to his very high standards. he has a preference for sleeping on his right side and on his stomach, moving very little and has heavy, slow breaths. a quiet sleeper. he sleeps between 5 — 6 hours, going to bed as soon as he finishes work. with a partner, he likes to be close to them, but respects whatever habits they may have. in a situation where both like to be close, he loves to hold his partner to him, finding the contact relaxing and helping him sleep better. haru often adapts to make his partner be as comfortable as possible.
haru’s bed is relatively simple, but has multiple blankets, especially for the colder months, and has a few pillows. depending on the season, he either wears a simple t—shirt with shorts, or discards the t—shirt.
𝙟𝙚𝙖𝙣 — jean is a heavy sleeper, he absolutely loves to sleep. he is considered the laziest out of all the illusione members, often running late to their morning meetings for sleeping in. he has no overall preference for what position he sleeps in, and moves often while he is sleeping. on occasion, he mumbles while he sleeps. he sleeps between 7 — 11 hours, depending on the day. with a partner, he doesn’t mind whether they like to be close or not. all he wishes for is for him and his partner to sleep comfortably in the same bed.
jean has an array of pillows but has minimal blankets, having a preference for thick bed covers. he sleeps in sweatpants and t—shirts.
𝙨𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙣 — seventeen is a very light sleeper, however she does enjoy sleeping when she gets the chance. she rarely physically tires, even when out on the field, but the mental toll can lead her to exhaustion. she often sleeps on her sides, curled up as small as possible. she has tried to break out of this habit, but always ends up waking up in that position. she moves very little, and is a very quiet sleeper. sleeps between 3 — 4 hours consistently due to how restless her mind is. with a partner, she can become a heavy sleeper, as she feels a lot safer with a partner. she loves closeness and being held, and depending on how long her partner sleeps, she will sleep as long as they do.
she has many soft pillows and blankets which she usually layers for the winter months. she sleeps in her undergarments and an oversized t—shirt.
𝙟𝙪𝙖𝙣 — he is somewhat of a light sleeper and greatly appreciates whenever he gets a chance to rest, and when he can, he’ll nap wherever is safe and comfortable. sleep is a time for juan to recuperate a lot of his energy, especially since he works and takes care of his son, gabriel. he has a preference for sleeping on his left side and back, and moves often on his own but with a partner, he moves significantly less. on some nights, he is a quiet sleeper. he sleeps between 5 — 8 hours. with a partner, he adapts very easily, but likes to have his partners close so he can hold them. he finds comfort in having someone beside him.
juan’s bed is relatively simple, often sticking to one big blanket and covers, with 2 pillows. he sleeps in shorts or sweatpants, depending on the season.
𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙬 — he is a very heavy sleeper, only certain things can wake him up. he sleeps when he can, but doesn’t make a fuss if he has to stay up for important business. he has a preference for sleeping on his stomach, and moves a lot, often finding himself waking up in the very same position he slept in. he’s a quiet sleeper, but often mumbles. he sleeps between 4 — 8 hours. with a partner, he says he doesn’t like holding his partner or being held, but often while he sleeps, finds himself wanting to hold them for comfort. he likes to have someone in his bed to sleep with him.
he only likes sleeping with the covers, and has few pillows. he sleeps in his undergarments, occasionally wearing sweatpants.
𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙪𝙡 — haneul is varies between a light and heavy sleeper, depending on how tired he is. he often misses out on sleep as working as the lead of illusione’s intel sector, he finds himself devoured by his work and loses track of time. he’s somewhat of a loud sleeper, due to having a habit of mumbling often. he has a preference for sleeping on his sides, but wakes up on his back. he sleeps between 6 — 9 hours. with a partner, he will often copy their sleeping habits and schedule, as he likes having someone sleeping by his side. though he likes to be held and hold his partners, he doesn’t mind if they don’t want to.
his bed has multiple pillows and many blankets for warmth. he sleeps in shorts.

just a thing i’ve been thinking about writing —— how someone would be killed by the hands of each illusione member, whether they were driven to a merciless anger, or someone they care about was hurt.
𝙢𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚 — he will make someone suffer through hell. he has every means to end their life in an instant, but he’d rather receive satisfaction from capturing them and making them want to die —— but he won’t allow it. only when he feels that the torture is pointless, unsatisfactory will he kill in the most brutal way possible. those that drive him to a point of absolute bloodthirst, he’ll make sure it’s messy. blood on the walls, face, and hands, they’ll watch him with a crazed expression on his face, using whatever is at his disposal ... blunt or sharp objects used to beat them until their body mangled into something that’s incomprehensible. people would ask if that was even a person to begin with.
𝙨𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙣 — she was made to be a ruthless killing machine. once she has a drive to kill, she’ll fulfil that mission no matter what. her body was made to deliver lethal blows, kill efficiently and fight back. she finds no satisfaction or holds any interest in torturing people, she prefers death to be swift, instantaneous —— something she knows she’ll forget quick because that’s what she wants. she is no stranger to killing people with her hands, guns or knives —— but when it comes to a kill that gets personal, she’ll do what she can and deliver a swift kill. she’s emotionless while doing so, soldier—like, an absolute contrast to her usual sweet personality. her killer instincts are like a switch.
𝙟𝙪𝙖𝙣 — as a hitman, he knows how to kill and kill quick. he will always carry this value with him no matter what, even when in a merciless rage. a quick kill, won’t even spare them a second thought or last words. forget and move on, it doesn’t take much for his anger to be satiated, however, if the circumstance is right, he’ll try and fight them —— a nice beatdown, a reminder to himself that he was an underground fighter, before using his gun to finish the job. juan is always mentally prepared to kill someone, there has never been a moment where he has hesitated to take a shot.
𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙬 — naturally, he already carries an attitude along with his daily personality, so tipping him over the edge is relatively easier compared to the other members of illusione, especially since he bites back as a warning. he’d be brutal, let them bleed out to death as he watches. he knows exactly where to shoot so the victim of his actions will suffer for long enough and then die from the blood loss. he likes to watch suffering after he’s done what’s necessary. doesn’t like getting his hands dirty —— a gun can easily do that for him.
𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙪𝙡 — he is not made to kill, that is not his job within illusione, however if he has to, he will. due to his time at illusione and the nature of his job, haneul has learnt how to handle basic weapons in self defence and to attack if necessary. he would resort to using a gun to kill and is a very good shot. he prefers a quick kill, something to easily forget and move on —— his anger would settle quickly afterwards.
𝙟𝙚𝙖𝙣 — it tends to be unexpected, but jean would prefer to kill someone with a knife out of sheer anger. it would be brutal for a man such as himself, but he would do it due to his naturally protective nature. he wasn't made to kill but he knows how to handle a knife, and will make use of his skills with sharp weaponry to end the life of another.
𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙪 — being mirage's right hand man, haru has a variety of skills when it comes to weapons. he wouldn't indulge in brutality but he would go for a beat down before killing with either a gun or a knife. he experiences a very silent rage, it isn't easily identifiable through expression but it becomes very evident in his actions. he will make sure someone knows that they deserve death.
