A Miracle at Monster High (A Monster Mirabel Story Idea)

Here's another Encanto crossover idea for anyone to consider, it goes a little something like this.

Mirabel, seeing her magical family take a picture without her only confirms that she has no place in the Amazing Madrigals perfect image. So, she does what she thinks is best, packs her things and leaves while everyone else is celebrating in Antonio's new room (failing to see the cracks along casita). Mirabel, finally reaching the mountains that protect Encanto is suddenly attacked, and bitten, by a wild jaguar. the Miracle sensing Mirabel in danger makes a last-ditch effort to save her, and magically teleports her out of Encanto. Mirabel then wakes up in front of a massive, and somewhat creepy looking building. she also notices she looks completely different. she has fuzzy cat-like ears, a tail and is covered in spotted fur, like a jaguar. She is then approached by Miss Bloodgood who explains to her that she is in Monster High, a school for all sorts of monsters. She offers Mirabel a place to stay in one of the new dorms and allows her to enroll in Monster High, which she happily accepts. Mirabel then proceeds to make friends with Frankie and the ghoul squad while learning to embrace her new life as a monster. Meanwhile in Encanto things start to go downhill. Turns out saving Mirabel caused the magic to weaken and the madrigals are falling apart trying to find Mirabel. As Alma tries to make everyone forget about Mirabel and get back to their duties to the community (kind of like what they did with Bruno) Bruno suddenly appears, finally having had enough of Alma's treatment of everyone. In a burst of courage and anger he calls out Alma for running the family into the ground with her ridiculous expectations and how he hid in the walls of casita for ten years thinking the family would be better without him but then finding out it didn't. He then says how he had one more vision after Mirabel left and found out that she will have a better life away from the people she once called family and that they only have themselves to blame (leaving out the part that she became a literal monster). That outburst from Bruno causes Casita to collapse and the miracle to break, leaving the madrigals to pick up the pieces of their broken family. Will Mirabel ever see her family again? Will the magic ever return to the Madrigals? Will the Madrigals ever accept Mirabel's new form? What will the ghoul squad think of all this? Guess we will have to wait for someone to write this story and find out.

Monster High is about embracing what makes us different and celebrating our "Freaky Flaws" as they say. And I think Mirabel is the perfect example of this, being the only one born without magic in a magical family. Plus, whenever I hear this Monster High song, I immediately think of Mirabel.

Mirabel falls in love with someone new in the Encanto at 23. He’s cool but a goofball he also has womanizer reputation, he finds Mirabel endlessly adorable and loves her kind and creative nature but isn’t serious about her. He takes her virginity and then they start dating only Isabela and Dolores know what’s going on. Mirabel befriended his buddies who all thinks she wonderful and he should marry her. Something happens in her boyfriend’s hometown so he leaves but promises to come back. He’s gone for 9 weeks and Mirabel misses him day and night but then she discovers that she’s pregnant. Confused, worried and sick she tells Dolores who already knew and then Dolores tells Julieta. Julieta is shocked but supportive Augustin finds out and after a good hour of processing he embraces his daughter and tells her he’s on her side. Isabela tries to tell Mirabel that her boyfriend won’t take responsibility for the child but Mirabel believes that Isabela is wrong and that he will take care of the baby. Abuela Alma knows that it’s quite the scandal but she focus on supporting her family and that means Mirabel anytime someone says anything cruel about Mirabel she shuts them up like it’s nothing. Antonio helps with making baby clothes because Mirabel is having a difficult pregnancy she gets dizzy and nauseous all the time Pepa and Julieta give her advice all the time and Camilo makes Mirabel laugh on her bad days. Bruno looks into the future and sees the baby they have freckles and big brown eyes he sees something else but doesn’t tell family. One day Dolores hears Mirabel’s boyfriend come back to the Encanto but also hears he talking to his friends about how he has no intention of seeing Mirabel anytime soon. Dolores hears this and panics then she tells Isabela they decide to not Mirabel because she already having a difficult pregnancy. but Mirabel sees one of he’s friends one day and they tell her that he’s been back for days she goes to see him at one of their spots where they used to go out and confronts him. He tells her that they should see other people and that she should forget about him cause they too different but she knows him well enough to know he’s lying. Mirabel tells him that she’s pregnant and he’s not surprised at all he said he could tell something was different. Mirabel lies and says that she’s okay with raising the baby on her own and it’s his decision if he wants to be involved, trying to seem respectful but is hoping that he decided to stay. But he walks out on her saying that their to different, Mirabel tries her best not to break down and says that she didn’t mean it when she said that she was okay raising the baby on her own and that she wants him around, but he tells her to grow up, wishes her the best and walks off. Mirabel runs home trying to hold back tears. She gets home to see Abuela there looking though the old baby clothes her triplets used to wear she sees Mirabel crying and immediately asks her what’s wrong, Mirabel start sobbing and Abuela holds her and tries to clam her down but to no avail. When Mirabel gives birth it goes on for a whole day and night she almost loses her life do to blood loss but managed to give birth to a son she names Oscar Pedro Madrigal.
