Honey, I need you and your smart brain to come up with an excuse to give to my mother who keeps asking me when I’m free for “a casual dinner”. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to avoid her, I’m even planning on spending Sunday afternoon at her place, but I know her and I know that “a casual dinner” around my birthday means she’s probably going to gather too many people, even neighbors that I don’t know, and throw a surprise party and we both know I don’t like surprises. So, I was thinking about something. I kinda want to celebrate the fact that I am still alive although one of your brothers was very close to the turkey knife during Thanksgiving and it didn’t look good for me -- alright I’m almost joking. But I was thinking that you and I could explore the area one weekend, find a nice little home with a fireplace for a night? You know, spend some time together before the big busy time that people called  ‘Christmas’.  @clemnewman​
