Essential scene for OFMD 2x01:

We see Jim and Frenchie in the room, clearly having been bumped from prisoner status to unhappy conscripted crew. Frenchie is talking Jim down from doing something stupid because Jim's a badass, but taking over a ship doesn't do much good when two people cannot sail and don't know where to go anyway.

Mid conversation Izzy comes in unannounced (he's walking better to show time has passed). Jim glares daggers. Izzy rolls his eyes and throws a bundle of dark fabric at them.

Izzy: "Here."

Frenchie (poking the bundle suspiciously): "What is it?"

Izzy: "Your new clothes."

Jim: "What? What's wrong with our clothes?"

Izzy (in his talking to idiots tone): "You can't think those meet Dress Code."

Frenchie: "We have a Dress Code?!?"

Hard cut from Izzy's baffled expression and vague gesture at his outfit to Frenchie and Jim in their new threads surrounded by Blackbeard's new / old crew in some kind of meeting, which makes it so very obvious that Blackbeard does, in fact, have a Dress Code.
