Outside of his work, though, he's actually a reserved individual. Sure, being a judge is taxing, but he liked being able to breathe from the office. And for him, he cherishes those times since he's able to enjoy the little things— including you.

You and NEUVILLETTE will get along great. He's often fond of being with someone and also enjoys quality time as well, and your manners caught his eye. He isn't often fond of being demanded to do things when its not on his schedule, and if you told him you want to go somewhere, the next thing he asks is "when are you available? I'll be free after a case next Monday."

Yes, he's particular. So particular that it will make him upset if you flake on your plans with him without a good reason.

NEUVILLETTE is also the type to be able to ease you through feelings of perfectionism. He's endured it with Furina once, an actress, so he's able to help out in mitigating that weight when things don't go as perfectly.

Just... Please educate him. He's quite naive to misinformation, and heaven knows what he might learn that can twist the law itself.

As someone who’s not into selfship, I usually engage with X Reader content by viewing Reader as their own character. And seeing the dark potential for Boss…..

What about a Reader who is Boss’s “friend”?? A mature, confident individual who is honest with their desires but also smart enough to recognize Boss’s red flags. The type who will say to his face that they are attracted to his appearance + money but know better than to date him.

I think it would be funny/ dangerous if they like to toy with Boss, casually flirting with him but always ending it with, “But of course, I know we aren’t suited for a serious relationship with each other. That’s why I’d only pursue a friendship-with-benefit/ marriage of convenience with you—not that you’d ever say yes~”

Idk maybe Boss would view them as an interesting challenge for that reason?? It does feel satisfying when he begins to flirt back and seriously court Reader, watching their reaction go from “Nice joke lol” to “Wait, are you serious??”

Also, the mental image of Reader pulling Boss’s necktie so their faces are dangerously close, controlling their distance and daring him to either move closer or farther—

OH MY... OH THE AMOUNT OF THOUGHTS I GOT FROM THIS. JESSAMINE YOU ARE LITERALLY BIG BRAIN FOR THIS OH MY GOD HOLD ON

WAIT I NEED TO ADD THIS BUT LIKE... Boss considering his friend (the reader) being a potential partner. It'd be even more interesting if he starts to treat them like a funny challenge -> actual romantic partner because I could see the dynamic play out, especially when Boss decides "I'll take matters in my own hands". Dare I say it, reader might actually be able to twist his mind at the cost of... Well. Themselves, essentially.

Don't be fooled, though. Boss is still a control freak, but he does consider that a challenge. I think it'd be more like outwitting one another, and it becomes a fun enemies to lovers to enemies to 'its complicated'. What's even worse is that it could develop his obsessive love for them instead, which... Translates to extra bad news.

AND THE FACT THEY'RE DARING HIM TO MOVE CLOSER OR FARTHER.... OTL. OH THE DEMONS. THEY'RE YELLING. THEY ARE GOING TO STRANGLE ME AND YOU FOR THIS THOUGHT.

Okay but like... the power imbalance turning into a dynamic though. Boss's desire for control and the reader's desire to twist what's theirs, and like??? Aaaaaaa the potential yan x budding yan!! AND THE AMOUNT OF UNHEALTHY DYNAMICS THAT CAN BE TWISTED INTO "LOVE" FOR THEM!!

Oh my God I am. I'm lying down this is going to HAUNT me for days. Weeks. Months even. Ty for the food, you madlad. (/pos) You have successfully made me hyperfixated on this dynamic for better or for worse.

For the sake of possibly getting 🍀 going through a crisis, he wears it for the sake of being able to see. He struggles a lot because (correct me if I'm wrong cause its been a WHILE) he's actually far-sighted! However, when he doesn't have his glasses, he just wears contacts instead.

Hiiii I’d like to say good job on the match-ups!! They’re fun to read, and it makes me more excited for my turn (assuming my form was properly sent). And Cupid + Eros’s lore?? Very interesting, given their shady Boss and the yandere consequences of their services :0

Also, my apologies if my form was quite extensive. I rarely participate in matchups, so I figured I’d go all out for my first (and probably last) one for Genshin ^^;

At any rate, I honestly don’t know who I’ll get so the results will be interesting. Sending lots of chocolates to Cupid and Eros ^o^

"Afternoon, Cupid," Eros greeted them, watching them enter the room while they worked on the matchups. Cupid yawned and sipped on the boba drink they bought while they were out.

"Afternoon, Eros... What are you doing?"

"Clearing your three page worth of messages."

"Yes. Now. Seriously, you never do it."

Pausing at a certain message, the duo began to read through what it means, and Eros seems surprised. Blinking a few times, they turned their gaze to a stunned Cupid.

"Hey, Cupid. Look who came after Ana."

"Cupid?"

"Oh my God— that's Jessamine!" They exclaimed, placing down their drink to grab Eros by the shoulders and shook her. "It's Jessamine Rose! It's Jessamine! She came to see our work at MixMatch!"

Haha I’m glad you suffered enjoyed my ask!! I personally don’t simp for Boss, but your recent imagine was a delight to read. I’ll definitely look forward to future Boss posts if it means more dark stories >:3

Also, if you don’t mind more ramblings about Friend! Reader, I imagine that they know Boss is a “difficult” partner with questionable morals; but other than that, he does a good job at hiding his toxicity + crimes from them. And Reader, though not as rich as him, is very successful in their job—so much that it’s actually impossible for Boss to threaten their financial/ job security.

(I just say this bc I like the thought of Boss with a darling who is challenging in all aspects. He doesn’t deserve any broken darling + yandere victory rights from me lol)

Ohh and here’s another scenario!! After months of sexual tension, Boss and Reader actually hook up. He thinks he’s made progress…..only to wake up the next morning and find a fully-dressed Reader about to leave. They cheerfully thank him for the “fun night” and tell him to enjoy the hotel breakfast on his own. Whether or not Boss asks them to stay, it’s clear who won that battle~

I just read Behind the Facade, and LET’S FUCKING GO!! I’m usually bad at theorizing, but I thought I’d share some of my speculations ^o^

1. ██████████ is Arlecchino. This theory is supported by their interaction with Lyney and the fact that ██████ could mean “Father”

2. The first person ██████████ spoke to was Dottore. If that’s true, good luck to his matches……..

3. Their boss is the Tsaritsa. In line with Genshin’s lore, that likely means the Fatui is a rival organization to Celestia Inc. in this AU

4. That might also explain Pantalone’s role as Cupid’s hypnotist, as he is gaining information for the Fatui

5. Similar to Dottore, Lyney and possibly Childe are also spies for the Fatui
