I decided to make an s/I to selfship with Gengar cause I'm dumb like that so here, take Ruinatine, a fake Love-type Evolution for Gardevoir that i'll be using as a self-insert. I plan on making a colored version soon I promise, but for reference the color scheme is mainly red, black, and white.

How love-type Pokemon work is explained on the page, but for a more in-depth explanation: Love type pokemon are only obtained when a pokemon experiences pure love and devotion or pure heartache and despair, in which the pokemon will evolve due to the intense emotions into a love type pokemon, meaning one pokemon could have multiple different love type evolutions. When a Love type pokemone evolves, it can sometimes completely change the pokemons types, for example, while a Gardivior is a Psychic/Fairy type, their heartache evolution, Ruinatine, is a Ghost/Love type, hense why Ruinatine is known as not only as the Cold-Embrace Pokemon, but also as the Dead Bride pokemon.

However, just cause a Gardevior evolves into a Ruinatine, that does not mean the Gardevior has gone through an irreparable heartbreak

Maybe, the Gardevior evolved into Ruinatine because they hadbecome smitten for a ghost-type pokemon, and thus loveed their partner so much that they evolved into a ghost-type pokemon just to match them. As we see here, that is exactly what happened to my s/i <3

I'm not sure if its an unpopular opinion, but I think Kiyotaka deserves to be more fucked in the head, and by that I mean like, I think he's allowed to be a little bit of a violent and malicious bastard, as a treat

I accidentally slipped into the fandom, I never even played the games, everything I know is from observation of the fandom. So basically my first introduction of him was probably through the fanon version of him, and then I slowly learned about the canon version!

ok, so i dont have many problematic headcanons, but I do have a few

first off, as we can see from my first selfship drawing of my s/i and him, he straight up not only kidnapped them, but cut off their legs so they couldn't escape. He would've cut off their arms too, but made a deal that my s/i got to keep their arms so long as they didn't misbehave. But who's to say he won't bite off a finger or two whenever he's feeling a bit peckish? (¬‿¬ )

Oh! I also feel like he'd probably try to feed my s/i human flesh sometimes, try to get my s/i to like it as much as he does. Of course, my s/i doesn't WANT to eat anything of the sorts, and they would probably refuse to eat it or push it away in any other scenario, but that could risk them losing their arms if they didt, so they just end up forcing themself to eat it. They probably end up puking not long after though, Bob being right by their side, comforting them and saying that they'll "be able to keep it down eventually,", which doesn't help my s/i feel better, in fact, it only reminds them of the fact that he's gonna keep feeding them human meat, even though he knows how much pain and distress it's causing them! (o^▽^o)
