I love this character. Her design caught my eye from the first moment. I haven't drawn in years, but when I saw Fu Hua I needed to draw her. By doing this drawing I realized how much I need to improve, so this path ahead will be fun.

春はけだもの

小型犬に吠えられた。万感の春である。中学生くらいの茶髪の女の子が、連れ合いのやはり茶髪の女の子に「〇〇(我が町)最近めっちゃフカしてるやついるらしい」と話しながら、駅前の目抜き通りをがに股で歩いていた。「フカしてる」が何を意味するのかはわから��いが、俺のことだったらどうしよう。電車で眠りこけているおばちゃんの足元に小銭が散らばっていた。罠だと思った。後から乗ってきた赤いブルゾンのおばちゃんが親切に起こして教えてあげると、小銭のおばちゃんは赤面してお礼を言っていた。毎朝電車で少しずつ読んでいた、ちくまの漱石全集第1巻『吾輩は猫である』を読み終えた。20代のうちに漱石全部読もうと息巻いて、29歳の誕生日に自分で自分に買った。中絶に中絶を繰り返すうち結局1年経って30代に突入し、全10巻のうちの1巻をようやく読み終えた次第。4月も半ばである。目標は既に下方修正されて、30代のうちに全部読めたらよし。ブックカバー外したら背の上部が擦れてしまっていた。次巻は倫敦塔。

２百年前の伝説ですが、この島のある男が、くり舟で遭難し遥か南方の無人島へ漂着。 半年後、夢に出てきた神様のお告げを頼りに海へ出ると、黄色いサメが、又間へ入り込み、背ビレに捕まると、そのまま北上。 一昼夜かけ、元の島にたどりついた、という伝説があります。 法事も済ませた後での男の帰還に、島中大騒ぎで、話は広まり、男は琉球王朝へ呼び出され、詳細を報告。 多良間真牛（たらまもーしー）の伝説として、日本の伝説沖縄編に、しっかり位置づけされており、素晴らしい掛け軸と、当時の状況を克明に記述した古文書が今に残されています。 ジュゴンに助けられた伝説は、北欧諸島にあるとのことですが、サメに助けられた伝説は、どこにもないとのことで、国内外より、民話伝説等の研究者が、調査にくる貴重な物語です。 何を隠そう、この話は、わがひかる家に代々伝わる伝説で、掛け軸に使われた色や図柄などの調査結果から、描写の技法は、琉球王朝の絵に源流があり、色は当時の八重山地区では出せない、島では作れない、紛れもなく琉球王朝より、贈られた物だとの事。 琉球王朝の風は、南の島のひかる家にまでささやかに訪れ、わが家は、由緒ある家柄でした。 そしてひかるは、サメに助けられた伝説、五代目の子孫。 末代まで、サメを傷つけてはいけない！ 食してはいけない！という家訓があり、サメを神様として崇め、供物を絶やしたことがありません。 なにげなく仲間と酒を酌み交わし、注ぎつ注がれ、フカのヒレ酒だと言われ、急いで戻しましたが、後の祭り。 翌日は、飲み過ぎたのか祟りなのか、１日中頭痛がしていました。 ご先祖様に陳謝！　陳謝！ （多良間真牛の伝説は、平成５年２月２６日付け中日新聞、３月２９日付け東京新聞に、日本版ロビンソン、クルーソー物語として、大きな紙面で、取り上げられました）
