A notosuchian crocodylomorph tooth of a Simosuchus clarki, or pug-nosed crocodile from the Maevarano Formation in the former Mahajanga Province of Madagascar. This genus is assumed to be primarily herbivorous due to its leaf-shaped teeth that are reminiscent of thyreophoran dinosaurs. Isolated teeth of some of these odd notosuchians are often misidentified as ornithischians.
