Language, Jekyll. He thinks it but knows better than to voice it lest his friend completely lose his grip.
" If you can just calm yourself for a moment, Jekyll, we might be able to tackle things with some manner of rationality. " Some manner of it. That's all he's asking for. He understands how difficult it must be for his friend right now -- his involvement with a hooligan or something of the like; it couldn't have helped his evidently deteriorating mental state.
Utterson has so many questions as to just who that MR. HYDE is; and what dirt he could possibly have on Jekyll to rope him into dealing with the aftermath of his unrelenting malevolence. Laying any on Henry now, nevertheless, can't possibly be the right thing to do. If anything, it's just about the WORST thing Utterson can do right now if he wants any sense of sanity out of his friend.

Laughter feels almost FOREIGN to the snow-locked author. It's not like he's particularly apathetic towards all things humorous, no, but he rarely ever finds it in him to truly belt out a real, full laugh. His general sense of expressivity's far less PROMINENT than what the spirit of the ring made it out to be, one'll find, so it's usually it's just something of a smile or a hushed puff.
So it's no surprise when Bakura presses a palm against a light ache in his stomach from the action, looking upon Otogi with the remnants of the laugh still bubbling out of him. Each 'ha' is more subdued than its predecessor, however, as he gradually regains enough of his COMPOSURE to verbally respond.
" I did, yes. " he nods, chest still not having quite settled from the fit and lips still TUGGED into the after-cast of the laugh: a bright-eyed smile and a subtle tilt at his head. 'What pure nonsense' is what he HOPES to think, but Gale knows better. Gale is perceptive, he always has been, and HORRENDOUS at denial. Trying to take a note out of Effie's book'll never do him any good. The obvious'll keep sizzling up inside him until it reaches a boiling point; THEN he won't trust himself with anything. Pent-up frustration is a powerful thing.
" He's walking around pretending to be some vagabond when so so much is at stake. How - where does he find the time to keep on making these little... Cheesy gestures all the time? " They really aren't that many, he realizes, but ONE TOO MANY. Enough for him to notice.
" He's not in this a hundred percent - he's partially blinded. I have a right to be concerned. " Gale's problem in actuality, however, lies in Katniss. She's warming up. Anzu : So I was just having a conversation with Seto about Star Wars; particularly, about the choice of architecture. The amount of people who die from falling down bottomless pits is TOO DAMN HIGH! Like, who designs architecture like this? Catwalks with no guard rails whatsoever, just zigging and zagging through enormous voids. Giant holes to nowhere!
