❝hiya miguel, remember me?❞ // i changed it a teeny bit but same idea. hello!!!
[HIEEEE, sorry for the late reply- Family has been driving my up the wall.]
"How could I forget," Miguel deadpans, still more than a little upset that not only had his fight with Gojo expended all of the Black Rope that had taken years to weave- But that he'd essentially run away with his tail between his legs.
Technically, he was only supposed to stall the man anyway, but it was the principle of the thing.
"Have you... eaten?" he asks earnestly, gesturing to a Portuguese colonial home painted in bright colors.
Miguel was guessing Gojo had a favor to ask, one that he personally didn't have room to refuse seeing as the other male had let him survive. They could talk business inside.

❝  looks worse than it was.  ❞
It was rare that Miguel was ever rendered entirely speechless, but the sight of the jagged scar tissue along Gojo's exposed neck had shocked the other sorcerer to his core.
The fact that the other man was still alive was a miracle in of itself, but the discolored flesh that had unevenly healed over didn't even stop there.
He didn't want to ask what had happened, it seemed invasive considering how grievous his injuries had been. No one could walk away with scars like those without having teetered precariously between life and the other side. But he could tell from the marks he did see that the wounds had been from a direct frontal attack with some kind of weapon.
"Damn, you win I guess..." he muttered, wincing in empathy pain as his eyes slowly trailed along the diagonal streak of hypertrophic tissue.
His own scars had never healed properly and developed into keloids along his back and shoulders, but they paled in comparison of the severity.
“I thought that you were supposed to be untouchable.”
