HI REFFIE HEHEHE 💕✨ tysm, i can't wait to show some new (old??) wips!!! i'm still debating if i want to keep the new icon, but the tails gets trolled ren kills me every time i see it kdjngkj

these are more of my safeshiptember sketches!! the one on the left was "making a meal together", which i tossed mostly bc 1) i actually have more trouble with speed than with knife holding / safety, so this doesn't make much sense, and 2) getting the pose right when he's supposed to be shorter than me was. a pain. like he HAS to be able to see the food, but if he leans over too far he wouldn't be able to hold both hands. fun in concept, not fun to puzzle through. 😭

the one on the right i thiiink was supposed to be "selfie", and i tried sketches for both ren and mars, but i was just too burnt out to fix it up ;; i love the look of selfie drawings, with the arm stretched out in front of the camera, i've just never been good at the getting them right myself lskdmf. i do want to keep trying though!!! might revisit this one soon actually; his side profile came out cute, and i think i can get the extended arm looking okay really quickly. 😊

in another ask i talked about affectionate!drunk ren... well here's pining!drunk ren!! 💕💕 we're doing a friend dinner date thing at a rooftop restaurant (are there reasonably priced allergen-friendly rooftop restaurants in [nearby city]? don't ask me kJNKSFJDN), and we're looking over the city lights and he just. looks over and can't stop thinking... kiss?? we can't kiss but... kiss???? i'm still torn on whether he actually asks on accident (to which i have to sadly tell him no, he's drunk, i won't... but he can try again if he remembers when he's sober ;;;) or if he confesses on accident elsewhere.

ough this is actually going to be harder than i thought KJNAKJDSNF, turns out i don't have as many selfship wips as i thought. i do have some "finished" things that i just never posted, though, so if i run out of wips i'll post those!

i'll treat these as one wip bc they're the same canvas for the same purpose ksjndkjfn. in july, once i decided ren was For Sure Sticking Around, i wanted to make one of those silly wallpapers where it looks like the character is stuck in / coming out of the phone screen!

first one's composition wasn't strong enough (though i might revisit the idea now... maybe...), second one i just didn't like enough to finish, and the third one was the farthest i got before i decided "actually this looks corny as fuck" KJNSDKJFN. i came up with a better phone wallpaper idea later anyway sooo. shrug!

gonna be real, i had a few options for things to make for valentines, kept working on all of them on and off instead of focusing on any one thing... and wasn't able to finish anything in time LMAO ;;; just know i spent aaaaaaaall day thinking about the stinky!

trying to think of anything that i haven't already shared fdhrsef.... i imagine being a hobbyist vtu.ber for a little bit of extra money (some day... fiber internet pspsps), and the first time he watches one of my streams is during lunch hour. he immediately pulls it up, moving to put in his headphones. a couple of his coworkers are curious, though, so he turns up the volume because "oh this is my FRIEND my new FRIEND we're JUST FRIENDS!!! look at this art they did for their stream--" and this is the kind of shit i blast his and his coworkers' ears with during the "starting soon" screen.

hello hello, jo!!!!! 😊💕 i hope you're doing well and keeping warm on this fine new years eve hehe!!!✨

this was the initial idea for the safeshiptember "AU" prompt that i 10000% want to revisit!! there are some VERY specific images that have stuck in my head in the 10-ish years since i had my initial "zombie oushirou" dream, and this is one of them; a very empty holding room, the only furniture being a medical bed with a thin cot for a mattress and cheap sheets and blankets, and scientists observing mars through windows and screens.

i couldn't quite get the pose right for what i wanted, and i couldn't find good photo reference to work from for this specific pose on such short notice, so in the end i switched gears and drew the one with us on the library stairs!

i was working on something else for the first half of the day, so i missed pocky day ;_; i should have it done by tomorrow lksmdfkl ;;;

i know i have messages that i need to answer, and i'm sorry to those people for the delay! i'm currently dealing with a frankly ridiculous number of health issues, so mental processes are even more slow-going than normal... i'm just spending more time offline bc i don't have the energy to interact w anyone as things are ;;;;;;; i WILL answer those messages, i just need time to get my brain back together.

just wanted to make sure anyone who's sent an ask or tagged me in something recently knows i HAVE seen them and i AM working on responses!!! 😭 i'm so happy to talk to people in this community like this, it just might take me a few more days to write everything out. ;;

i was gonna put art on the back burner til i can read through my new vn, but i joined in on an art / sketch stream and uhhhhhhh....!!!! after some stinkers i drew something Cute!!!

ren's one of the few people i think i'd feel safe letting loose around like this. i normally don't want to be Perceived, even by people i know, but he has a way of pulling you out of your restrictive comfort zone without putting you in uncomfortable situations.
