Lazarus: Waking up in the burnt down ruins of its home, completely detached from life.

Eleazar: A birthday party when he was five.

Lazarus: Strained.

Eleazar: Really good! He relies on them a lot.

Lazarus: Disappears lol.. It's abilities are very much ghostlike, so it tends to just disappear. It will come back when its calmed down, yk?

Eleazar: Nervously plays with his hair. He'll twist the strands.

Lazarus: "Lazarus Fletcher, Reaper of Phantom Fade." It is death. One of 'em at least. It doesn't get paid anything, thankless job really. It would prefer being a historian, they both wanted to be historians.

Eleazar: He has a part time job at the college library (,: it doesn't pay that much but it helps with his education. One day he'll be a Preservationist! He wants to work with the HEA to preserve sorcerer society and finalism. Especially after WW2 wiped so much out.

Lazarus: Nothing? It doesn't really care.

Uhm well Laz died as a result of WW2 and Eleazar lost his twin as a result of WW2 so. Hitler????

Eleazar: That he's partially to blame for his twin dying.

Lazarus: It has no need to eat, so most of the food it consumes is junkfood lol. It doesn't have an affect, yk, death.

Eleazar: He eats as healthy as possible but he loves sweets...

Both: Fun!!

Lazarus: Literally invincible. ONE GUY can kill it and that guy has not yet been born. Well and the Fates can erase it, but they have no reason to.

Eleazar: Anything that counters his umbramancy. Too bright an area can absolutely fuck him over because he won't be able to use his magic properly. That being said, he's pretty good in most situations thanks to the abundance of shadows.

🍊 [ORANGE] Does your OC have a prophecy surrounding them? If they don't, what would it be?

Lazarus: Nope! If they did it'd be the "died for another to prevail" type prophecy.

Eleazar: Also no. But one could argue he is the other half of the "lost someone important in order to prevail" trope. And his twin's death did directly lead to him insisting on the preservation of magical society so as to prevent a future erasure. But it isn't a prophecy because he alone wasn't enough for that. I think Rowan said the last one was the 60s?

Lazarus: Blue and silver. I don't have a why, it just does. Anyways it's favourite colour is orange.

Eleazar: White and black. His favourite colour is red.

Lazarus: Candy.

Eleazar: Vegetables.

Lazarus: It isn't very kind because it doesn't have much opportunity to be. It doesn't even really grant the souls it reaps any sort of kindness. Watching them become monster in order to hunt them down.

Eleazar: He always remembers people's interests or things they point out. He likes to think he's pretty kind.

Lazarus: Hurt its brother.

Eleazar: Remind him of his childhood.

Lazarus: It won't want to, but it will. Because there's very little it needs to sustain itself.

Lazarus: Has really soft hair, thats about it.

In the future, yes. Eleazar's efforts will be forgotten and those who knew sans it's family will know Laz.

Lazarus: Forget-Me-Not. I mean. Lol.

Eleazar: Purple hydrangea. A deep desire to understand.

Their family is originally from England, however both of them were born in Germany in the 1930s. Their family is now back in England. Lazarus, drifts..

See it isn't necessarily complicated, but it is HEAVILY related to /actual world history/ which makes it just really fucking grim. Its accepted Ad Vitam canon that there were genocides of sorcerer children before they came into their powers, and complete wipes of their religion from history.

Lazarus and Eleazar's stories heavily have to do with these genocides and that comes in combination with WW2 being a big part of their lives. Not complicated at all. Just sad.

Lazarus: It thinks its normal (You couldn't face your family for years because you couldn't stand the fact you wear your brother's face.)

Neither are picky.

Lazarus literally died on account of being magical. Eleazar has to hide and suppress his magic and religion even now that he IS immortal just because its safer.

Eleazar: Poor but he's managing. He'd like to be a nice middle upperclass but alas.

This is where genshin and amant Katsumi differ. Genshin Katsumi's storyline is fine, but its really his relationships to others that shine. Eiji and Katsumi, the Traveller and Katsumi, Masuyo and Katsumi. His relationships are everything. As for Amant, his storyline is more set in stone and tangible. He's not just the Impure Discarded Daughter searching for reason. He still is, don't get me wrong. But the separation between him and Masuyo and the way their stories unfold together and apart grips me. I have not written any of it. :) ♥ (13) How does your OC show their love to those that are not their partner(s)?

He wants to be useful. And he WILL be. and that is how he shows love. ♥ (14) Does your OC have any romantic traditions?

spa. our muses go to a spa to treat themselves to a day of relaxation and pampering.

"You're aware I hate spas."

"It'll be private!"

"People will still talk."

Ajax frowned at him, but the hunter didn't spare him a glance. "I already paid." That, of all things, stopped him though. Sulien groaned, hand coming up despite the mask that obscured part of his features.

His hand was grabbed by the ginger who tugged him along the mountain path they'd already been on for sometime. "It'll be nice. You need it." Sulien rolled his eyes at the man, however. Opting to ignore him.

The spa was quiet and tucked away in the mountains, a secluded location, like Ajax promised. And it wasn't difficult to intimidate the attendant into allowing his gear into the spa room.

"That was unnecessary, little wolf."

Sulien locked the door to the room with the key he was given, roaming around the bath room to check it was truly empty. "It was necessary to me." He flippantly responded, pulling open a closet before shutting it again.

Ajax was less careful, stripping himself of his clothes without much care. He was in the steaming bath before Sulien even finished half of his room sweep. The ginger was on his back in the hot water, staring up at the wooden ceiling.

"You should be more careful." Sulien huffed as he locked another entrance. Ajax just waved him off, enjoying the hot water against his perpetually cold skin. It was only once he finished did he even consider getting in the water.

He hated taking his gear off, hated being naked more. He was quick to get into the water once he'd been stripped down. He immediately sank down, letting the hot water ease the pain in his right arm.

His eyes snapped open when cold fingers slid up his back, hissing at the temperature difference. "Just me." Ajax promised with a laugh, having come up behind him. Sulien relaxed, eyes closing once more.

Ajax carefully massaged his shoulders, clicking his tongue at the tense feeling. "You need to relax more." He chided softly, fingers trailing over the large messy scars on his right shoulder, carefully pressing his fingers into the knots.

"Maybe."

"Better than no, I guess."

Mistake to Wound for Ohm

Ask Game!

mistake: What's the worst mistake your OC ever made? What led to them making it? Have they been able to fix it? How have they moved on?

There are things Ohm considers mistakes that are merely situations a twelve year old boy could not control. But losing his brother is the gravest one, to him. Even if he got him back in the end, there's still something wrong. Ohm knows that. Ohm knows he can't fix it, he couldn't then, he can't now.

monster: Is your OC monstrous in any way? Is there something that makes them monstrous? Are they aware of their own monstrosity? Do they accept it or reject it?

Ohm also considers his inability to feel empathy something that makes him monstrous. It doesn't, it isn't a measure of anything. But in combination with the actions he's had to take to survive and the fact he's not entirely human anymore, it doesn't exactly help. His view is that he was born wrong. Only the one closest to death can control the altar of life.

nightmare: What does your OC have nightmares about? How do they deal with their nightmares? Do they tell people, or keep it to themself?

The academy in Lithuania. All of the associated trauma that came from it. Ohm doesn't talk about his nightmares, doesn't talk about the blood he can't wash off his hands, or the monsters he created that day that still haunt him. Ohm tries not to sleep.

pain: What's the worst pain your OC has ever felt? Do they have a high pain tolerance?

Ohm has a very high pain tolerance, but the worst pain he's ever felt did not belong to him. Still, if we just went off the pain he's personally experienced. Having his heart frozen. Though being sliced clean through the mouth sucked.

secret: What's one secret your OC never wants anyone to know about them?

What he is.

skin: How comfortable is your OC in their skin? Do they grapple with anything that lives inside them—a beast, a curse, a failure, a monster? How do they face the smallest, weakest, most horrible version of themself? Are they able to acknowledge it at all?

Ohm is affected by a blood curse, Saturn's Curse specifically. It makes being inside his own skin incredibly difficult. His body doesn't entirely belong to him, either. It partly belongs to the pacts he's forged for survival. These are things Ohm has to face every day, the very worst of himself. He acknowledges it so nobody else has to.

torture: Has your OC ever been tortured? Would your OC ever torture someone else?

Yes and yes.

wound: How does your OC handle being wounded? Are their wounds mostly physical? Mental? Emotional? What's the worst wound your OC has ever experienced?

He stands by being separated from his brother and returning home to his parents dead as the worst wound he's ever suffered. The way Ohm's healing works is that he will transfer another's wound to him. This is how his character has always been designed. So he's suffered a lot of horrendous physical wounds due to his mortal limit being much higher than an average person's. But he's really good at ignoring those.

When have they been unable to save someone or something no matter how much they tried?

His sister. He became a thief to pay for her medical treatments. Hunted for doctors across the world, searched desperately to find a cure, a treatment. Flat broke, deeply in debt, such an easy man to take advantage of. Primrose had no chance.

How much death and/or destruction have they wrought?

He's a thief, not a killer. So he says. But Ezel will kill if he has to. He'll kill as a warning.

Do they try to prevent unnecessary suffering?

Ezel will look the other way.

How do they feel about sparing women and children if given the choice? Do they value certain lives over others?

No life has any inherent value over another. A cost is a cost no matter what body bag its attached to. This is his philosophy, so he says, if you resemble a certain appearance chances are he'll let you go.

What's their moral compass like?

A roulette wheel.

How far would they go to save someone they love? Would they sacrifice themselves? Others?

He'd burn the world to the ground.

What's their pain tolerance?

Very high. He'll shrug most things off.

Do they feel glee at the sight of blood?

No he doesn't. The smell and sight of blood overwhelms his senses.

What do they regret the most?

Trusting that quack doctor.

Do they have the ability to love?

Yes, he does. No matter what others might say.

Do they have empathy? For whom? For what?

No, Ezel doesn't feel empathy whatsoever.

How easy is it for them to get lost in despair?

He's very cynical. He tries his best not to let it get to him, but it still does.

What's their relationship to their body? Self esteem? Self image?

It's a husk he inhabits. That's all.

Do they have self worth?

He views himself highly.

How do they kill? Do they try to minimize suffering?

Neatly. Precise. He makes it quick, he has no need to maximize somebody's suffering. Unless they annoyed him then well, sorry.

What haunts them?

The death of his mentor, the death of his sister.

What little regrets do they have?

He almost always regrets drinking hot coffee..

If they could go back in time for 5/10/15 minutes and change something, what would it be?

He'd probably find a way to end the world. I don't know how or why, but Ezel would. Because he could.

How do they view the world? Are they an optimist? A pessimist? A realist?

An optimist turned pessimist.

Are they codependent? Do they have abandonment issues?

Severe abandonment issues but it doesn't come across as codependency but rather severe individualism. To the point of making no friends, no ties to others.

What's their relationship to sex? Modesty?

He's asexual and maybe for the right person he'd try it again. But he has somewhat a negative view on sex. When his sister was still alive he'd sleep with people for the attention because all of his was focused on her. Taking care of her. He craved attention of any kind, even if he didn't like it much.

Do they enjoy the taste of blood?

Yes, hes a fox.

Do they enjoy the feel of hot blood on their skin?

If he was 5% less normal he'd find it so fucking sexy. But no, like I said, it overwhelms him.

Do they like maiming?

No.

Have they tore someone to shreds with their bare hands? With their teeth?

With his teeth, yes. When he was younger.

okay i can't find it so i'm gonna assume it hasn't been asked yet. what does ohm smell like. for research purposes

I think this is somewhere on my old blog? idk its mentioned in a few fics at least. somewhere.

But Ohm smells overwhelmingly of mint. Mint is used to mask the scent of death in many circumstances.

Naturally he smells.. sickly sweet. He smells OF death. It clings to him. So all of the products he uses are mint scented. He smells fresh, clean. Because its the only thing that works.

8 - Smiling/laughing into the kiss

Sulien stared at the document he was trying to translate for the museum, squinting at the Cyrillic lettering on the old parchment. He hated translation jobs. It wasn't his main job, the professor groaned quietly.

"Little wolf~"

He groaned again, setting his quill down to rub his temples. It wasn't long until the man he detested interrupting him was interrupting him. By taking a seat on the edge of his desk. Lilac eyes blinked up at the man, a periwinkle brow being raised.

"I'm working."

Ajax rolled his eye, leaning back on the desk as he looked down at the professor. "You look like you could use the distraction." The man pointed out, his usual smirk not leaving his face even as Sulien made a face in response.

"I told you not to interrupt me at work-"

Sulien's eyes widened when Ajax kissed him, the warm action caught him off guard. His mouth falling open slightly in surprise. The ginger couldn't help but giggle into the kiss, outright snickering at the man he considered a lover.

"Psst, you're supposed to kiss back."

He reminded the professor, his lips still brushing against the man's. Sulien huffed, grabbing the front of Ajax's shirt to pull him down into a proper kiss. One the blue eyed man couldn't help but smile in response to its surprising softness.

010. in the kitchen making the deserts for the big day, and perhaps even making a mess too!

Sulien stared at the burnt remains of the cake he'd tried baking. The top was beyond dark, it'd grown black and cracked like charcoal. Lilac eyes narrowed at the disgrace sitting on his counter. He promised Ohm he'd finish the rest of the holiday baking.

"Wow it smells awful in here what are you-"

Ajax's voice was swiftly cut off by a blade burying itself in the door frame beside him. One blue eye blinked in surprise, the ginger turning his head to stare at the now maimed wooden frame.

"Hello to you too, solntse."

"I've told you not to sneak up on me."

The vampire hunter all but hissed, moving beside the man to withdraw his blade from the door frame. He tugged on the blade, huffing in annoyance as it came unstuck, leaving a sizable mark behind.

"Yeah yeah, your brother isn't going to be happy about that."

"I'll just blame you."

Ajax could only chuckle, the hunter may have mellowed out, but he'd always be like.. that.

"Do you need help?"

Sulien paused, looking at the burnt cake on the counter, he rubbed the back of his neck as he used his other hand to slot the knife back into its place on his hip.

"If you feel up to it." He decided on, secretly hopeful the man would say yes.

Ajax pushed himself off the door frame, ruffling Sulien's hair much to his chagrin. "You can just ask for my help, little wolf." He picked up the pan the cake was in, unaffected by the heat of the metal.

He then proceeded to trash the man's hard work.

"You always sucked at baking, even back at the academy.."

Sulien scoffed, arms crossing over his chest as he watched Ajax toss the tin into the nearby basin. "The kitchen was Ohm's home." He rationalised. Ajax just nodded, doing his best to suppress his smirk. Sulien always preferred the library, they both knew that.

The ginger patted the counter, turning away to grab the ingredients he’d need from the ice chest. Sulien hoisted himself up onto the counter, watching him with eagle eyes. He folded his hands in his lap, unsure what to do with them when he wasn’t moving.

“Baking is a science, I’m surprised you don’t like it more.” Ajax reached up into the cupboard, grabbing two bowls and setting them on the counter beside Sulien. The hunter merely shrugged, leaning back to continue watching him.

The vampire mumbled to himself as he measured out the wet ingredients in one bowl. He then moved that bowl aside, grabbing the second one and measuring out his dry ingredients. Sulien reached out, poking the man’s nose when he noticed the ginger was incredibly focused on measuring.

Ajax quickly lifted the flour bag in surprise, not wanting to use too much. A white puff came from within, dousing both of them in powder. Sulien coughed, turning his head away from the bowls. Ajax blinked once, twice, then looked up at Sulien’s guilty expression.

“The flour is supposed to go into the bowl, solntse.”

Sulien huffed, turning his head back to glare at him. Ajax reached into the flour bag, quickly throwing some onto the hunter. Sulien groaned, trying to dust it off his dark clothes. The ginger snorted and then laughed, he sounded like a hyena as Sulien slid off the counter to try and brush his clothes clean.

He didn’t expect the man to return the favour, his hair and shirt covered in flour in a flash of an eye. Ajax groaned in disgust when some fell under his eyepatch. He set the bag of flour down on the counter so he could lift the edge and try to shake the flour out.

“You- rude.”

“You started it, fireball.”

“Yeah yeah..”

Ajax shook his head with a pout.

“How about you go light the fire again, huh?”

Sulien waved him off, turning towards the wood stove in the kitchen. With his back turned, Ajax’s expression softened. His dead heart stirred in his chest. He was endeared. It felt like old times, before everything that had happened between them.

He quietly mixed the ingredients together, listening to the sounds of Sulien lighting the fire.
