( thinking about how vivian has the mentality of ‘unfortunately, i am attracted to people regardless of gender’, not because of misanthropy or hatred towards people who don’t identify as female/male, but the belief that they’re just more complicated. cause unlike fictional characters in dating sims, real people actually have free will, so it takes time, effort, and hard work to actually get closer to someone and even then, they’re not guaranteed to fall in love with you once you establish a connection with them.

on top of that, vivian hates being attracted to ‘three dimensional people’, because she worries they’ll be uncomfortable by this revelation, especially when she views herself to be a hideous freak, which isn’t really helped by society’s unkind opinions regarding autistic folks. plus, due to her hypersexuality, she tends to mentally objectify those she finds attractive, which then leads her to feel guilt and shame further down the line.

also, with how frequently she has experienced rejection, vivian’s insecure and does not know how to do relationships, for no one has ever really expressed interest or bothered pursuing her. )

CHEST — It doesn’t really matter if it’s a mans or womans chest, to be honest, because as long as their outfit features a boob window, Vivian would discreetly stare the first chance she gets.

The first thing she would notice is how she just can’t take her eyes off of them, to be honest. Like, if Vivian thinks someone is attractive, you can bet she will zone out in their general direction and just fantasize about them from a distance.

There are quite a few things that would ruin the attraction Vivian has for someone, but the biggest ones are when they reveal themself to be a misandrist, misogynist, or a race fetishizer. Did Vivian ever have a one night? Nope, this girl is sadly a virgin. Would she have a one night stand, though? Well, it kind of depends on who it’s with, because if it’s someone she doesn’t know, then it would definitely not happen for ‘stranger danger’ reasons, but if... say, she has a friend that propositions her and said friend happens to be someone she’s sexually attracted to, then I could see it happen. Of course, Vivian wouldn’t actively seek out one night stands, but I can see her agreeing to having casual sex with someone she at least likes on a platonic level.

Granted, if she’s already in a monogamous relationship with someone else, then the answer would be ‘no’, for Vivian would certainly try her best to stay faithful to her partner. To say she wouldn’t be tempted to, however, would be a lie because she is hypersexual.

intimacy : who was my muses last kiss?

By natural default, it’s with @illdivine‘s Judith, but in verses where she stays single or has never met Judith, the answer would be ‘not applicable’, because this girl isn’t the type to ask people out or have assertive secret admirers. With Judith, however, it’s different because their relationship is more so a platonic one despite the fact they’re close enough to be casually affectionate with each other.

in a relationship : how soon in the relationship is my muse likely to say ‘i love you’?

It depends on how long she has known the person, to be honest, because if they hadn’t known each other for more than year, she would only acknowledge she has a crush on them, but if they had been friends for years before dating, she would probably say it a week into the relationship once it finally sinks in that someone actually returns her feelings. Honestly, if it’s the latter case, then Vivian would have already reached the point where she’s in love with them; therefore, she’ll probably just let it slip while having sex or when she’s laying with them one day.

CONFIDENCE — Of course, it probably is no secret that Vivian likes assertiveness in a man, but if she notices someone exhibits a self assured attitude and has faith in their abilities, she finds herself immediately attracted to them. This is mainly because those traits are what she herself lacks, but at the same time, it’s still possible for her to dislike a person who displays these traits (i.e: Percival from Granblue Fantasy). Granted, she’ll still find arrogant men attractive and may secretly admire individuals who are overly optimistic, but developing a romantic attraction towards them is a different story altogether.

OPENMINDEDNESS — Since Vivian is accustomed to recieving insults and people being needlessly cruel to her, she’s far more likely to fall in love with someone who isn’t judgemental. As long as they’re kind and understanding, she would want to be around them all the time, hence why someone like Kensuke is someone she’s very fond of. Basically, when it comes to a potential partner, they have to be someone who accepts her for who she is before she can even consider commiting to them.

DEVIOUSNESS — This is more so in regards to men, but considering Vivian has a maledom kink, male presenting people who have sadistic leanings are those she can’t help being attracted to. If they’re the type to tease or humiliate her, then chances are high she would eventually become smitten with them. In her defense, though, Vivian is a closet pervert, meaning her tastes are a bit... degernate compared to the average person’s.

SENSE OF HUMOR — Vivian does enjoy laughing, so while someone not having a sense of humor isn’t a major deal breaker for her, she does have more chemistry with a person who she can crack jokes with. LOYALTY — Do keep in mind Vivian has personally experienced ‘friends’ ditching plans they had together for what she calls ‘dick appointments’, so she likes people who can consistently keep their word and commit to any schedules she establishes without bailing on her. Of course, Vivian is already insecure, to the point where she’ll be hurt yet understanding if someone decides to cheat on her, especially since she herself is hypersexual, but what’s important to her is that they can follow routines.

Not gonna lie, I don’t really see Vivian wearing any perfume to a date. Of course, cologne might be a different story altogether, especially if said scent is one she finds ‘manly’, but she is the type of girl to just shower, put deodorent on, and call it a day; besides, perfumes and cologne bottles are just so expensive, she would prefer to buy stuff that is much more affordable. Provided someone bought it for her, though, Vivian wouldn’t be against putting on cologne.

This is a Caligula Effect verse specifically made for @arskaerenetia’s Kensuke and it occurs a year after the Go-Home Club manages to return back to reality. Basically, though:

Vivian will automatically be shipped with Kensuke by default, so in this verse, she will naturally be single ship.

After recovering from the effects of Astral Syndrome, she ended up taking a break from college to work full time at a library and managed to save up enough money to travel to Japan, due to the fact she had always wanted to visit. In fact, Vivian felt so strongly about this, her mother ended up keeling and letting her go vacation there with her older sister.

As of now, she’s staying with her in a small two story aparment, but Vivian is prolonging their stay as much as possible by taking on part time jobs. At some point, though, she ended up getting her motorcycle license and a motorbike, which led her to eventually quit her other jobs to become a delivery girl for a ramen shop. At the moment, she works Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons, but during her free days, she makes time for her weeb-y hobbies and pestering Kensuke.

Though Vivian does still have a Canadian accent when she speaks Japanese, she knows enough to get by, due to her studying up on the language and Kensuke having helped her before her arrival in Japan. Of course, she initially struggled to maintain a productive routine, but is working hard with adhering to her schedules and developing more healthy habits.

Honestly, Vivian’s favourite is the ‘Manly Mocha’ blend from Virelli’s, a fictional café in Vancouver I headcanon she frequents. Of course, she’ll always buy dark roast coffee beans because she loves drinking her coffee black and bitter as well, but the mouth feeling, richness, and acidity that the ‘Manly Mocha’ blend possesses is something she personally deems ‘sublime’. Despite it being sweet and slightly chocolate-y, it also has a strong, refreshing aftertaste that leaves her satisfied, to the point where she’ll always order it every time she drops by Virelli Café.

Also, when it comes to how her coffee is made, she doesn’t really have a preference. Why, considering she isn’t all that picky, Vivian would even enjoy instant coffee, yet because she purchased a grinder, the coffee she has at home isn’t brewed, using a machine or press.

As much as I often joke about Vivian being dumb due to her gullible nature and obliviousness when it comes to those who have romantic feelings for her, she is actually more intellgient than the average person; only, her intelligence more so revolves around English, literature, library terminology, and anime related information. For example, she will be able to tell you which poet had written ‘Crusoe in England’ or how tall a fictional character canonically is, but cannot solve a complicated Calculus problem to save her life.

Why, Vivian is probably the last person you would wanna go to for help with an equation, because contrary to the stereotype all Asians are good at math, she’s so bad at it, she will start sweating if you present her with your trigonometry homework.

Honestly, I feel like Vivian is a mixture of both self taught and educated, but lacks street smarts, meaning it probably wouldn’t be that hard to take advantage of her if you’re a potential scammer.

Honestly, aside from being constantly sleep deprived, I’d say Vivian’s physical health is pretty much on the average side. She doesn’t exactly have back problems or trouble walking and is just lethargic due to a mental condition ( hypersexuality disorder ) rather than a physical one. Of course, her disability ( aka autism ) is more so neurological, meaning she’d be able to actively play sports if she wanted.

Exercise wise, though, the most she does is take walks; therefore, she isn’t that muscular, especially since she loves being a couch potato. Still, despite not working out, Vivian doesn’t have much issues, standing on her feet for a long time, Despite this being the case, however, her mother does regularly take her to see a family physician for checkups, to the point where she is annually vaccinated..

Of course, she does get sick, but fevers or colds happen less frequently, due to the fact she is used to Vancouver being a very rainy city. Truth be told, Vivian’s more likely to have injuries from getting attacked/being clumsy or stomach problems since she isn’t the most pickiest eater. Why, she will eat practically anything, as long as it’s edible and not actually expired.

Honestly, this answer is kind of verse dependent, because Vivian’s hometown does differ depending on the verse and we’ll be here all day if I talked about every last place she would hail from, so for this prompt, I’ll just talk about Vancouver ( which is her default hometown ) and Zinkenstill ( which would be considered her hometown in her Granblue Fantasy verse ).

Now, as far as Vancouver is concerned, Vivian is admittedly fond of it despite it being the second rainiest city in British Columbia. Not only does it have many good places to eat from heck, even their vegan/vegatarian restaurants proves rather top notch, there is no shortage of public transportation you can take if you don’t know how to drive. It also has a huge Asian population, so rarely is she disciminated against for being Chinese; therefore, if nothing else, Vivian is proud she is from Canada and not America.

Considering Vancouver is a huge city, however, it’s unrealistic to expect everyone to have heard of her; still, I imagine she’s quite infamous at Langara College for being that one eccentric autistic woman who is from the the Library Information Technology program, which is comprised of lectures, field work, field trips, and workshops, which she probably made lots of lasting impressions on.

Due to this, she is relatively well liked, but people tend to her admire her from a distance rather than up close, so she’s generally percieved as that ‘one cute Chinese girl who is out of everyone else’s league’, given how frequently she gives off the impression she prefers 2D characters. Currently, though, it’s speculated she might even be a lesbian since nobody has ever seen her dressing femininely. Well, regardless, Vivian is still living in Vancouver, but she does want to travel to Japan some day on account of the fact she is a big weeb.

In her Granblue Fantasy verse, on the other hand, she doesn’t have the biggest attachment to Zinkenstill and the most she does cherish about it is how it’s the place where she first met Djeeta/Gran and Vyrn. Honestly, the best memories she really has from the village is spending time with them, because Vivian was never really able to form that many emotional bonds or connections with people growing up, as she was constantly misunderstood and seen as different.

Of course, while they were never outright mean to her face, they did like to talk about how wierd she was behind her back, so Vivian never got the impression the villagers truly liked her. Frankly speaking, she just remained the outcast while Gran/Djeeta was the one who was percieved as a hometown hero. Granted, this does change once she begins accomplishing extroadinary feats alongside them during their adventures together, with the villagers eventually beginning to be proud of even knowing Vivian, but before that, their opinion regarding her isn’t all that great.

Either way, she did end up moving away when you consider the fact she did ultimately accompany Djeeta/Gran on their journey to Estalucia, so yes, for the time being, she’s no longer living in Zinkenstill; still, staying or settling down there doesn’t seem terribly appealing to her at the moment.

Now, seeing as though she is a part of the LGBT community, Vivian does acknowledge transgender people would occasionally undergo facial feminization or masculinization surgeries in order to better affirm their gender and can understand why people who have suffered injuries might want to alter their face to how it looked before experiencing their accident... but people who permanently alter their appearance just to look prettier is something she finds incredibly asinine.

Honestly, the way she sees it, it’s not as though you would stay beautiful forever, especially once you grow older and start developing wrinkles. Why, one way or another, everyone will end up looking like a turtle, so why bother spending millions on a visually appealing face that won’t even last after you turn 50, 60, or 70? Also, even if it’s for the sake of seeming attractive to potential suitors, Vivian still doesn’t think that’s a good enough reason to get plastic surgery; in fact, changing your whole, entire face just so others would find you hot seems quite pathetic, especially since real people themselves are disappointing and not worth the trouble.

Granted, she did end up taking on Yanhe’s appearance in her ‘The Caligula Effect’ verse, but that was only an adjustment μ made because she thought it would somehow make her happier if she lived life as a beautiful tomboy. Well, regardless, plastic surgery is definitely not a procedure Vivian would wish to carry out, if only just to spite her mother who keeps calling her ugly. Frankly speaking, she doesn’t wish to gain that woman’s approval by suddenly becoming prettier, so she’ll die with the same face she always had, thank you very much.

Still, she could care less what other people decide to do, because at the end of the day, it isn’t her body. Frankly speaking, if they want to look like Kim Kardashian or have five butt implants, then that’s their preogative - she’ll just judge them for deciding plastic surgery is what they even want to spend their money on. Naturally, this doesn’t apply to trans people or survivors of accidents, but yeah, long story short - Vivian doesn’t have much respect for you should your reasons for altering your face be because you want to look ‘sexier’, especially if you weren’t hideous to begin with.
