watching a horror movie with ellie, all because she wanted to and you didn't wanna disappoint her by saying no, right?? well, you should've just told ellie you were scared of horror.

but that's alright. because ellie's smiling with a soft gaze, at this point watching you and not the movie. every little flinch, the way you cast your gaze away at certain parts.

so she reaches out and covers your eyes with her big hands, guiding your head to her chest, letting you lay in her lap comfortably.

"relax, hey? i'll keep you safe."

(i may or may not be writing something about a horror movie with ellie that ends completely differently to this💀 but i thought of this and it's so cute i had to at least make a blurb about it!!)
