حددت الأميرة النرويجية مارثا لويز وخطيبها الأميركي دوريك فيريت 31 أغسطس 2024 موعداً لحفل زفافهما في جيرانجر في النرويج، وفقاً لمنشور كتبته مارثا على «إنستغرام»، أمس. وجاء في المنشور: «جيرانجر هو المكان المثالي للترحيب بحبنا». وكانت مارثا لويز قالت في نوفمبر العام الماضي، إنها لن تؤدي واجبات رسمية للعائلة المالكة النرويجية حتى إشعار آخر. وجاء القرار بعد أن تعرضت الأميرة لانتقادات عدة، لخلطها بين المصالح التجارية ولقبها الرسمي. كما تعرض فيريت لانتقادات في وسائل الإعلام النرويجية لتقديمه ادعاءات غريبة، منها أن ميدالية كانت سبب شفائه من فيروس كورونا. يشار إلى أن مارثا لويز لديها ثلاث بنات من زوجها الأول. المصدر: الإمارات اليوم
