There was slight hesitation before Morty could muster up the courage to speak. He didn't care if Rick was right there next to him. All that mattered was getting things off his chest. Even if he'd be made fun of it for it or worse, mocked.

"Marsha is my best friend, sh-she's the only person I want to talk to on bad days, sh-she's the only one who can cheer me up when I need it," Even if that cheering up only consisted of being there to listen, it still helped him in a way that meant so much to him. "Lately, I-I just can't stop thinking about her, I-I don't know why, I-I just want to be around her more. A-And I think about.... kissing her.... a lot."

Before he could manage to further his speech about Marsha, he sprinted out of the garage and upstairs into his bedroom. Slamming the door as he did.

Rick didn't feel the need to comment on that. It was obvious that his grandson was going through some things and he didn't think saying anything about it would be necessary.

Instead, he focused on the question itself. "I don't have much to say. Sh-She's a spoiled brat who thinks the world can be handed to her. That's all I have to say."

Just hearing the name caused Morty to melt. His heart beat so fast just thinking about his counterpart. It was one of those days where he couldn't get him out of his head. Which happened pretty often, especially if they didn't see each other for a short amount of time.

He could feel his cheeks heat up from the admission. It was always nerve-wracking to speak his thoughts. He always worried if what he said came across too cheesy, but at the moment, he couldn't bring himself to care. The cheesier, the better.

"He's always there for me a-and he never thinks of me as any less, he's always there to protect me when I need it,"

Then he melted even more, until his upper body was only being held up by the table that he sat at. "I-I love him. A lot. A-And nothing's ever going to change that."

This wasn't an easy thing to fill. In truth, Morty hadn't thought much of that particular Rick since everything went down. Actually, he made it a point to never bring it up or think about it. For Rick's sake mostly, but so that he didn't have to relive everything that happened.

Yet, now he was forced to talk about it. And he really didn't want to.

"Y'know, I-I'm glad that he's dead now, he can't come back to ruin Rick's life anymore -- i-it's the best for everyone that he's gone," He spoke whatever came to mind first, scratching at the back of his head. "You know, some people are just meant to not live a-and that's okay. H-He can't hurt anyone anymore. Certainly not Rick, that's for sure."

What was in that drink that Rick gave him earlier? Morty didn't know and he should've known better than to trust the scientist with drinks but he was so inebriated that he couldn't care about that right now. His main focus was on his counterpart and that's all he wanted to talk to.

With another quick drink, he made his way over to the other. Looping an arm around his boyfriend's waist and pulling him in close. Until their lips barely brushed, chest to chest.

"Y-You have the most beautiful eyes," He reached up his hand to caress that cheek. Softly feeling the warm skin. "A-And y-you're -- y-you have a really nice body I-I just want to---"

Before he could finish that sentence, he felt the urge to lean forward and capture those lips with his own. And so he did, slowly and passionately. Sliding his tongue into that mouth to explore and taste more of his boyfriend.

The tap sent Morty into swatting his hand around before turning to face his other sister. He tilted his head to the side. Immediately confused by what she had just told him. Just from the sounds of things, it sounded as if his counterpart wasn't doing so well and needed his help.

Which got him a lot more worried than he thought he would be.

"A-Alright, I'll, uh, see what I can do," If he were being honest, he didn't even know what this was about. Did something happen that he wasn't aware? Was it to do with something that Meg did during that picnic that she told him about?

{ HC / OOC } A lot of times Morty will feel insecure about a lot of things. Some of which are things that he's done tons of time. For example, when he's holding his boyfriend's hand, he'll worry about his hand being too sweaty. Or when they're kissing, he wonders if he's actually a good kisser or if his counterpart is just not telling him the truth.

He's too afraid to speak up about these insecurities and he can push them down with ease to get through spending time with his boyfriend. Though they always creep up and he can't help it.

The kiss was a lot more intense than it usually was. Shoved against the wall, breath hitching. He could feel those hands on his chest and stomach. As if they were threatening to explore, but were too nervous to.

His heart beat so loudly that he could hear it in his ears. That and the low hums of each other's fast paced breathing.

Morty clung onto the yellow shirt before him. Steadying himself between that and the wall against his back. He wanted to bring the teen closer to his body, but he hesitated. Would that make things too weird? Would he be forcing something that his boyfriend wasn't ready for?

The questions were soon erased from his mind as he tilted his head. He could feel those lips attach themselves onto his neck. "M-Morty," He whimpered softly. "Y-You're.... I-- I-I really like that,"

He slid his hands up his counterpart's back. Until fingers reached brown locks of hair. That he began to twist and play with. Softly humming as his neck continued to be kissed.

Staring at his closet, Morty isn't sure what he wants to wear to the Spring Ball. It's like everything he owns his either too plain or would just look completely stupid on him. And of course, Rick isn't going to help him.

The mistletoe hung above Morty, nervous as he clung onto himself. This was his first Christmas where PM was his boyfriend. Which meant that they could easily partake in the tradition. If he had the nerves to do it, at least.

He couldn't help it. The thought of kissing his boyfriend was equally as magical as it was frightening. What if he messed up the kiss? What if he did it wrong? What if his breath smelled bad from all of the snacks he'd been eating? So many questions spun around his mind. Enough to make someone dizzy.

A shoulder bumped into his own. His head turned to meet with his counterpart. Who looked just as nervous as he did. Good, that means they were on the same page.

"Uh, h-hi," He stepped a little closer.

This was it. They were both under the mistletoe. They could do this.

Taking his counterpart's hands into his own, he faced him properly. Slowly, he leaned in and captured those lips within his own. Soft, delicate and very slow. But it didn't matter. It allowed for him to show just how truly he loved the other.

Once he got comfortable enough, he let go of those hands, caressing that face and stepping even closer. Until their chests were slightly touching.

Everything around them floated away. Nothing else could protrude the bubble that they created for themselves in this moment. It felt magical, warm, everything that he knew it would have been like.

And once he broke the kiss, a singular thought popped into his mind.

"O-Oh, uh, there was a mistletoe hanging above us, I-I, uh, I-I hope you don't mind I just.... y-you know..... thought we should kiss under the mistletoe."

Inside of the ship, Rick huddled in the backseat alongside his Morty. Whoever's idea was it to let the other Morty drive and put him in the backseat was going to get an earful from him later. For now, he would play nice and just deal with it.

Well, at least openly so. Within his mind, however, it was a completely different story.

'Wh-Who the fuck does that little shit think he is. Just demanding to drive the ship just because Rick and I are fucking wasted. Can't even fucking sit in my own boyfriend's lap because that would be inappropriate and gross. Wh-What the fuck does he know about inappropriate when he barely even can make out with his boyfriend without popping a fucking boner. I fucking swear, I-I'll get him back for this.'

Morty didn't have any complaints however. He thought it was the most responsible thing that his other self would drive. Since this was the other Rick's ship. It just made the most sense to him.

Besides, he would have to keep an eye on his own Rick. Just in case if the scientist passed out and needed to be carried out.

'I-I wonder if other Rick carries my Rick. I-If they do it as a love thing o-or something. Do they really love each other? Th-They look like they do but it's hard to say because.... well.... it's Rick. I-I've never seen him in love before, but with each other, i-it's nice. I hope they can be together for a long time...... Movie night. Of course everyone would take up the good seats before the Mortys could get a choice of where they wanted to sit. And even better that the Ricks hogged up the entire couch. That meant only one chair in the living room was available.

Before Morty could say something, perhaps to tell his boyfriend to take the chair and he could sit on the ground, he felt himself grabbed by the hips. In a swift motion, he was sat down onto his counterpart's lap on the chair.

A bright blush appeared on his cheeks. It was a good thing that the lighting in the room was dim. So it wouldn't be seen, but he could sure feel it. Burning his cheeks as he kept thinking about how he was on his boyfriend's lap.

And those arms were snaked around him, holding him as if he were some plushie toy. It made him feel safe, protected, loved.

"Uh, a-alright, yeah, this works." He finally whispered to his counterpart.

He leaned back to get comfortable. Head rested on a shoulder and his own arms over the ones around his waist. His fingers circling around the back of that hand before intertwining his fingers with the other's fingers. Holding it as if he never planned to let go.
