Ness wasn't sure when it had turned into a small argument - something about trusting each other, and Onett.
"Well, if we're speaking honestly, you're a spider, Poke. But .."
"You're not a "monster", sheesh. All I said was that I'll need a little time before I fully trust you again! So instead of arguing with me, can we just drop this?" He looked away from his spot on Pokey's couch, dropping the controller to the game they were just playing.
".. I should probably just go home if you're gonna act like this."

"Uh," He wasn't sure what actually spurred this on. Surely there's nothing too impressive about eating a burger? A piece of lettuce stuck out from his mouth as he spoke.
"M-me? Yeah, m' Ness-" Oh gosh, do I have fans? I don't really want fans, He thought. "Can you .. I'dunno, buddy .. I think they're genetic?" He shrugged, fully swallowing his bite of food. "I-I can't really, uh. Blow up stuff. That's Paula's department, haha .."
He looked away awkwardly. "You could .. meet me now, I guess? I was just gonna head off to Fourside, anyways .."

"Wha- hey, I'm not a spider-thing anymore .. ! Man .. and I was just getting use to it, too." He sighed. "Well .. guess I better tell Pokey."

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" He snapped suddenly, baring his teeth. They were slightly sharper than normal - just a side effect of the fever. PSI particles sparked from his balled fists.
".. s-sorry. I'm sorry." He mumbled, clasping his hands together tightly. "I-I just feel little .. irritable, right now." He looked down at his lap nervously, leg bouncing. "O-of course he didn't COMPLETELY stable! How would you feel if you were tormented by Giygas? Not very g-good, thank you! Now .. go away, or I'll blast you to space .."

why are you still friends with pokey? he tried to kill you. dont you think he hurt you and made you sick on purpose so he could feed off your misery? ever think about that?
"Y'know what else tried to kill me? Everything and everybody! Trees, dogs, freaking - I got attacked by birds!" He threw his hands up before covering his mouth, groaning. He sat back down- he still feels sick.
"D-does that mean I should hate birds forever .. ?" He shook his head, sighing. "Even if he did .. I mean, he's gotta eat. I'd be sick a thousand times if it meant he was okay." He hugged his legs loosely, chewing on his lip.
".. he's my best friend. What he did, i-it .. it wasn't okay. Not at all. But that doesn't mean he can't change. Heck- he's trying to change. And that's enough for me, so .."
