Alsina
These next two are ladies (or present as ladies, in Alsi's case, since sexes are different for the vasyrus), so of course they would end up getting shoved aside for the boys. Or viewed just for sex.
I feel like she would get minimized to both the big booby goth and the wine aunt stereotypes.
People would just treat her as an accessory to Sivel. Because she did plan to overthrow him when she first came back, people would also probably speculate that she's using him/biding her time before she stabs him in the back.
I think people would take her habit of going as far as she has to in order to accomplish her goals, and her being unashamed to speak or act against things that she feels are wrong would get her pegged as being overly emotional. Or a bitch that takes things too seriously.
Nirbhi
Again, she's a lady so she'd automatically be pushed aside for the boys, for the most part. Or just viewed for sex. I could see that being especially bad with Nir.
Portrayed mostly as a ditzy airhead that lets her attendants take care of everything for her. Probably also a good bit of spoiled and selfish princess in there too, because of course.
I can see a lot of people either forgetting that she was a goddess for most of her life, or making her out to be some horrible woman that abandoned her followers without warning. All because she wanted to shirk her responsibilities and go have fun, instead!
She's a healer-type, so obviously that means she can't defend herself and is very weak. Needs protection, either in the "oh noes uwu, she needs a big, strong man to keep her safe" way, or the "ugh, she's so annoying, she can't do anything" way. I hate both, and so would she.
Pythius
People would absolutely only see him for the act he puts on with everyone. Arrogant, flirtatious and indulgent, vain and hotheaded. No depth here, no sirree! Might kind of sum up to a hot, but almost comic relief-y character in some ways.
He was never married, noooo, he's a playboy, he probably just knocked her up, he was never actually in love with her! And he probably neglected his sons, too! Actually no, I'm sorry. I mean he probably neglected Satan's sons--
People would also probably try to paint him as a drunken lecher, too. But in a "sexy way", for the most part.
Lazy, leaves all of his work to his siblings. But he still argues with all of them constantly, because there's gotta be one sibling in the bunch that causes a bunch of fights and drama!
I say all of this, but despite it all, I still feel like people would still somehow love him, and make all kinds of excuses for him.
Shilo
Always dozing off somewhere random, lazy, pretty emotionless and mysterious. People would treat his eels as snakes. This makes them sad :c
Cares a lot about nature and the state of the realms, so I can see a lot of people making him out to be really primitive and dumb. Or making him out to be the type that will jump down a person's throat for even considering the use of a plastic straw. Either way, I can also see it being treated as some haha funny joke.
Able to do mind/body control = he's instantly irredeemably evil.
Again with the "he's misunderstood, nothing he did as the Tyrant of Ennirem was wrong!" vs "he's evil and did that because he's evil and bad, and he didn't change or learn anything at all from what happened back then" battles.
Sivel
I can see a lot of blatant casual racism toward Sivel, unfortunately. Toward all of the Vasyrus, if I'm being honest. Because in a lot of places, they're painted as "the bad guys" in the Brinnelan war, with no acknowledgement to what led up to and caused any of that in the first place. And since Sivel is the king, he'd probably face the brunt of it.
He'd be viewed as cold and ruthless, power-hungry, unreasonable...all kinds of things, I'm sure. No wonder his wife left him!
Speaking of his wife, he probably forced her to marry him. Among other things.
On the more lighthearted side, I could see people dialing his nerdiness up to 11. Also his shut-in tendencies that pop up when he's really into something he's working on, or studying.
Serious all the time. Cannot take a joke. Doesn't tease, and is never playful. Sarcasm goes way over his head. I can see this being construed in both a sillier, kind of oblivious sort of light, and in a more negative sort of light, depending on what part of the fandom you ask.
Another "If you like this character, you condone everything bad that he's ever done, and you're just as problematic as him" victim.

I haven't been on in awhile. Have some lore for these Spark OCS of mine. The extra Fluffy one is Evie's late father. She didn't know him too well.
Her parents were an arranged marriage, Elijah (Evie's late papppppaa) Pretty much just worked constantly. So he wasn't really home, but he was pretty sivel towards Evie they just didn't really know each other. (He's Formie-moth.)
theres also Vill and Evie saying good morning with a book and Cross assuring Evie that Vill wasn't put off by her after they first met and she offered him work.
And sorry for being pretty inactive here, I've been trying to be a bit better in not overwhelming myself so I'm trying not to fixate one all my social medias at once. Hope that's understandable.

“Don’t let him touch you!” Sef had yelled, as Sivel seemed to forget Jas for a moment, in favor of attacking JJ.
Easier said than done, when they’d been so close in the first place, and he couldn’t seem to teleport a safe distance away-- some passive ability the Vasyrus possessed that made it impossible to phase within a certain distance of him.
Moving as quickly as he could, eyes narrowed, and teeth grit painfully tight as his body shifted forms to that of his past life, pouring all of his speed into dodging blow after blow. Using every last bit of extra energy to block Sivel’s magic with that of his own as best he could.
Anguished were beginning to approach. Attacking Kadios and Cecil both.
Kamii seemed to be slowing down for some reason. Eventually dropping to the ground in the same way that Jas had minutes earlier.
Ber did his best to keep Lerato away from both, and actually seemed to be doing well at the task. If only because it seemed to be one of Lera’s powers that Sivel had stolen to use against JJ.
The Vasyrus seemed close to giving up and returning his attention to Jas and Kamii, when one blow got far too close for comfort. Instinctively bringing Razil up to slash at Sivel once more, only for the blonde to turn his hand at the last moment and grab the weapon at the blade.
By then, JJ already knew that he had made a mistake. Trying desperately to recall his soul-bound weapon to it’s gem.
But it was too late.
“Dammit...!”
To say that the pain was excruciating was an understatement. He hadn’t felt anything like this since he had offered his soul to Lera when he was only a child.
And it wasn’t just him that was effected-- Sef quickly appeared beside him. Form flickering as the two of them gave an agonized scream.
But...just like that, it stopped. Razil dropped to the ground, and Sivel’s eyes widening. Mouth falling open as once more, his form began to radiate with magic.
Except this time was different. His skin seemed to split and break open in places. More energy seeping from the wounds.
He was...losing control? No...
“Death Dealer...” The Sivel spat, looking over his shoulder, not at Lerato...but at Jaspern, who had gotten to his feet, and had his hand on Lerato’s wrist. Kamii’s just on top of his as the two poured their energy into the dragon scale that was embedded into the ancient’s skin there. The thing that was allowing Sivel’s control of Lera, through Than. “...Life Giver...”
The look Sivel gave the two was one of barely concealed rage. They’d backed him into a corner...it was either let himself lose control, and bring as many of them down with him as he could, or break his bond to Lerato and his dragon. Live to get rid of all of them another day.
The choice, though infuriating, was an easy one. And in the next moment, his hold over both was broken.
JJ recovered almost immediately, looking over to see Ber helping Kade and Cecil deal with the few Anguished that were left. Making sure they were okay, before lunging at Sivel once more to attack.
The Vasyrus didn’t try to dodge, though. Instead, a pulse of magic burst from him at a breakneck pace. Not doing any damage in the slightest, but still stopping everyone in their tracks as familiar auras began to spring up from far away.
Every last one of them connected to Sivel, who simply smirked as if he’d still managed to come out on top, before teleporting away in an instant.
Back to the Vasyrus Kingdom, for now.

Holiday staging and setup with a little help from the best ~ Eddie at Maximalist Studios
Ask yourself... “What would Eddie do?” Well when it comes to Thanksgiving he’s all about layering and of course, actual taxidermy pheasant. I went to his Fall Style School class to gain some inspiration for open houses and ideas to impress clients this season.

{Maximalist is a beautiful event space when any type of entertaining can be done, from weddings to small plated dinners, photo shoots, and classes. We had our Sivel Group Holiday Party there last December.}
One of Eddie’s biggest points was to use seasonal items collected over the years and your nearest grocery store for florals. Realtors often have to think on their toes and use their own glassware/table clothes/furniture etc. to stage a home. One of the realtors on our team, Katie, has an entire basement of items she keeps on hand just in case.
Trader Joe’s was my best friend for this shoot, it was a one-stop-$40 shop for all this color; fruits, cheese, pumpkins, florals, tart. It really made a daunting task much easier and affordable. The pretty teal glasses were from The Clover Market in Chestnut Hill a few years ago. Everything else was from my closet.
Eddie’s refreshment spread for the class was much bigger, but when you need to scale down for an open house or just a showing to one person take a corner of what he put together and BAM you’ve just kicked it up a notch, and you’re on your way to impressing your client.
If a home has a fireplace- ALWAYS HIGHLIGHT THE FIREPLACE! If you look closely, Eddie’s mantle decor is very simple, but dramatic at the same time. Even if you don’t have the beautiful hurricanes, just use a few pumpkins and a couple of branches! Grab them from the front yard. Eddie says the best pine cones are at the FedEx in King of Prussia 😂 if you want to go the extra mile. Oh, and the stunning pheasant taxidermy from the first photo of the post are from EBay!
📸During your open house take a few casual photos... Here are a few of the social media specific shots {shown below} I took at Thomas Road. Sometimes the more interesting photos come from a small casual detail of a home. These types of character photos can perform much better on platforms like Instagram than the professional shots of an entire room.

This just makes him think back on everything that he and Seth had been through together, up to now. The situation with Creation, and in Gaea with Halilody...Seth had even been here when Quella left. He'd even allowed himself to be remade into a Vasyrus to become immortal for Sivel! They'd seen their fair share of hardships together. Learned each other's flaws and strengths-- their scars and perfections. And yet, here they still were.
Between those thoughts, and having Seth and Xethia in his arms, he wasn't sure his mood could get much better.

So, I don't really know why these things started popping into my head today, but I was just thinking back on some past threads I've had on here with people over the years, and remembered--
That time one of Jas' ship partners was irritated with JJ for teasing them about their relationship with Jas, and they looked him dead in the eye, and said "Yeah, well I'm fucking your dad, so that makes me the boss of you, and you're GROUNDED." or something to that effect.
One of Lerato's friends telling him that should be more careful around them, or he might end up being eaten if they lost control. Lera, without missing a beat, shrugging and going "I'm better than about 90% of the things you put in your mouth, so--"
One of Io's friends learning that he's super venomous, and going "I bet I could take it!" and when he gave them the usual "No, you really can't" speech, they dared him to bite them anyway, so they could prove they could handle it. And Io just goes "Okay, but remember, you literally asked me to do this, my guy." and just leaned over and BIT HIM. He gave them the antidote a second later, but STILL.
One of Nyl's friends asking him if he wanted them to cook the lobsters he caught for lunch, and looking up to see him ripping their claws off before EATING THEM WHOLE. RAW. SHELL AND ALL. Just staring at them while he was crunching on the lobsters like "Ew, why would you cook them, wtf--"
Sivel @ Jas: At least I do not whore myself out to solve all of my issues.
Jas @ Sivel: Maybe you should try it, that's probably why you're so uptight since Quella left you.
Everyone else at the gathering, sipping nervously at their drinks while Sivel and Jas get closer and closer to a full blown fight--
Sivel @ Jas 2, electric boogaloo: Sometimes, I know a person is an imbecile at first glance. But that still does not make it any less satisfying when they say something that serves to prove me absolutely correct. You just gave me that satisfaction, in all of about five words...that may very well be a new record!

Baphomet walking in for a meeting in Hell with the Demon Princes and some other important muses with a bowl of hearts that he sets on the table: These are extras from an experiment that didn't work out, if anybody wants them. I can't promise they won't cause any weird side effects if you touch them, though. I'm sorry, what? What kind of side effects? Oh. I'm not really sure, but probably something of the parasitic "it might end up wearing your skin" variety.
Aile: 'M the youngest out o' 136 kids, nothin' ye say's ever gonna be able te upset me!
Friend: That's not very reassuring, because it's more what I have to show you that'll upset you...

JJ, distracted with whispering nasty things in his s/o's ear, and their dog that they adopted together sneaking into the room and jabbing him in the butt cheek with her cold nose. Scaring him so badly that he not only let out a shriek, but fell out of bed and smacked his head on the nightstand.
JJ: Dame, you traitor...! I was trying to seduce your dad!
JJ, talking to the same dog while she does a puzzle toy: You're just a prodigy, aren't you? The smartest, and the prettiest, and the most perfect--
JJ's s/o: Aww, thanks babe. Laying it on a little thick though, aren't you?
JJ: ...
JJ: ...You're welcome! Love you, babe!
Jas, after coming home to see that the pet he got with his s/o wrecked a bunch of the furniture: ...What happened in here?
Jas' s/o: You wanna see the videos? She was being so cute!
Jas: You watched her do this, and didn't stop her???
Jas' s/o: How am I supposed to say no to that face? Look at her! Besides, maybe she just didn't like your taste in furniture-- you can't just blame her!
Jas' s/o @ JJ: Yeah, I'll teach you acrobatics! We can start--
Jas' s/o, having flashbacks to JJ running into corners, tripping up stairs, misjudging distances and falling off of things.
Jas' s/o: ...On second thought, why don't I teach you how to lockpick, instead? (I don't want to explain how you broke your neck to your dad)

Ranadi and Alsina, what are your thoughts on the recent drama with Iomhar? Alsina, you saw it all firsthand but, Ranadi, you heard about it afterwards. What has it been like with Sivel gone tending to Iomhar?

"Mmm...I dunno. O'viously I don't like it." Though Ranadi's speech starts off fairly slurred, he seems to pull himself together a bit. Hands scrubbing at his face before dropping into his lap. "Sivvie told us that Iomhar was the one that chose the punishment, himself. He was real shaken up by it."
"Shaken up is an understatement. I don't know what Iomhar-- what any of those fae were thinking! As if such a flagrant display would satisfy as greedy a nobleman as that! He has to know that just because he went above and beyond in his punishment, that the noble could easily choose to target he or Sivel again. So what if it cannot be in regards to what happened with his good-for-nothing scumbag of a relative? He could make up something, and it would be just as well!"
Alsina shakes her head, glass raising to her lips as she takes a rather large drink. She's almost even more furious about what happened now, than she was before. Though that was likely thanks to the alcohol.
"...It's kind of fucked up that some of the other gentry members, or the king didn't stop it before it got that far, though. I mean, making an example is one thing, but that sounds like it was really...never mind. I don't want to think about that, anymore. Sivel's going to be back tomorrow or the next day, and then me and Alsi are planning to go see how Iomhar is doing. Things are going fine-- he made sure everyone was prepared, and got us some extra help in Pereux, and some of Nirbhi's other desciples. That Sahrin lady has been pretty helpful, too."
"Aaah, I just want to hit something. Why does everything have to be so stressful?"

Though the brand in and of itself was enough, in Sivel's opinion, to warrant looking into Sahrin's words, she still provided him with further evidence before sharing her information. Evidence that would be a simple feat to prove true or not, which he would be sure to do, as well.
As for the information, itself...
"They said...that they were trying to help "sir" get his hands on someone specific. Someones, though nobody seemed to know who, exactly. Maybe because they weren't important enough to be told? Or...to prevent word about it from getting out, maybe. That's pretty much the same thing though, I guess. Sorry, I shouldn't speculate-- you just want the information."
She had began to list some of the things that she had heard over her time in captivity. Needing a way to block powerful telepathy was where it began, as well as a way to interrupt protective magics. As research continued, it seemed rumors had reached the ears of someone higher up in the group that the Aifaen were naturally resistant (or in some cases, completely impervious) to telepathic influences.
"That was when the plans for their hunts started, was when they found that out. It didn't sound like it was a big thing at first-- not anything like what's happening now. They most likely wanted two or three, to start their experiments on. That...that was the way it usually worked with them, from what I noticed..."
It was likely that Sahrin, herself, had been a victim of these, though she never expressly admitted as much. The one time Sivel had asked, Sahrin had gone pale; and though she had tried to hide the fact, the way her breath had hitched and quickened hadn't escaped his notice.
To him, it made her having heard these things more believable. It was likely that the "researchers" conducting the experiments were much more loose-lipped than those in other aspects of Ma'ilach. Their subjects were likely delirious, seemingly unconscious, or in some other state that would have taken away from any threat they might have otherwise presented if they heard some of these things.
After that, they needed magical energy. As pure and concentrated a source as they could find, evidently. That was around when Vasyri was added as a target, considering they were in the ancient realms, anyway.
The realm of Irekol was mentioned often. Sahrin thought there might be some kind of meeting place, or hub for the group somewhere in the realm. She didn't know where.
What Sivel assumed was the device the hunters were using to disrupt the magical energy in an area was apparently one of many versions. The one in particular that he had seen being the type they ultimately decided to test. Sahrin remembered them saying something something along the lines of the device needing to be capable of handicapping "that deity".
There was more...Sahrin had a good memory for detail, and though some of the information came from some speculation on her part, Sivel had to say that he was impressed.
Some more specific plans, potential points of interest, and names to look into. Apparently, though their devices were determined to be effective, both they, and some of their other experiments-- particularly those pertaining to the telepathy-- weren't lasting as long as they wanted.
Which meant more subjects were needed. The main portion of the group took interest when the "scraps" not needed in the experiments had sold for apparent fortunes, and that was when the scale of the hunts was decided to be increased.
Ugh...he had managed to look into much of the extra information given to him already. Shared it with the Ahniri, Aifaen, and surprisingly, the Setana, who had been urged by both the Ahniri and Aifaen to help handle the situation. None of them were happy with how complex the situation was turning out to be-- threads connecting places, places, and things in a seemingly random tangle that was proving frustrating for everyone involved to attempt unraveling.
There were still a few more people Sivel had to contact, and he was waiting on results from Ranadi, Alsina, and Sivan so the plans for how to proceed next could be determined. His head was starting to hurt though, and his eyes felt as though they were beginning to strain. Sitting for so long left him sore, and despite the fact that he was still fairly tired from maintaining the barriers around the Gathering City in Vasyri, it would probably do him well to move around some before he threw himself into anything more.
"Still...at this pace, we should be able to start making moves of our own, soon."
