So I know this is kind of in the FAQ but want to run a suggestion/idea by you just as an idea.

In theory would the guys from call of duty ghosts also be made up wraiths, seeing as based on the game’s lore they sort of went through a similar process (and by similar I mean a form of rebirth into a supernatural entity)?

I mean you have to admit an entire teams of wraiths is terrifying, but making it ghosts with their lore is even more frightening to me

i really see where you're coming from here, and i think it's an interesting concept as well...i think my only hang up with it is that I feel like most wraiths (going off personal headcanons) is that they're a very individualistic kind of monster. When they're 'born' or 'created', they're very much 100% ruled by this desire for revenge which is claimed by any means necessary. I feel like forcing a lot of wraiths together would be dicey (and probably super overpowered in this world).

so, first off, I want to apologize for putting this off for so long. I think it's been a couple of weeks at this point but I'm not entirely sure. Anyway, after getting this ask I immediately got really really excited and started outlining what I quickly realized was going to be a monster of an analysis post.

So much so, in fact, that I ended up having to move it all into a google doc. whoops.

As it turns out, this ask ended up being the thing to motivate me to go over a lot of other related thoughts about GF’s writing that I’d had stewing in my brain for ages, so you're getting an essay that you probably didn't sign up for. Again: my bad. I hold the champion's title for being the most long-winded autistic bitch to ever live.

Either way, as you might have guessed, I would love to elaborate on Ford Pines' hypothetical OSDD.

Do you have pictures of your manga/magazine collection? You must have a lot!

Hi! Yeah I'd say my collection is a decent size, but it's not very impressive to look at.

My magazines are just in magazine holders, my furoku is in boxes (to keep light and moisture out), and my shelves are packed to the brim & in no way aesthetically pleasing. Plus a lot of my older manga and doujinshi are in storage.

I think if I showed my full setup it would be pretty disappointing, honestly. Here's a random snap of a couple of shelves as an example (did absolutely no setup for this and lighting is terrible but eh whatever).

My dream is to have a place of my own and enough room to have things placed in an accessible and ordered manner. Which isn't to say I'm messy or disordered now, but room to display things properly isn't easy to come by when you're poor and renting. I'm sure I'm not alone in this frustration :(

In his hands, the kitten is small and wretched and too weak to survive. Shen Jiu takes it home.

Xiao Jiu obviously doesn’t care about that, or even notice. He gives everything a single harsh once over, and paces around the receiving room before whirling on Yue Qingyuan. He marches up to him, extends his hands, and Yue Qingyuan braces for a shove. Instead, he feels something small, warm and shivering be pressed to his chest.  “Fix it.”  He lets go before Yue Qingyuan has fully registered what is being given to him, but thankfully his own hands come up to catch and cradle the small body before it can be dropped. He looks down at the little kitten. The kitten looks up at him… or possibly to either side of him at once.  He delicately taps one small ear with a finger and watches the way it twitches. The kitten is clean of blood, but it is damp and miserable looking. He raises it to his nose— it smells of urine and fear.  “What does it need?”  Xiao Jiu’s face is contorted in frustration. “The stupid thing wants to starve. I’ve been trying to feed it anything for two days. It’s going to die.”  He drops down at Yue Qingyuan’s tea table and looks up at him. Two sets of eyes watching him, asking him for help, in their own ways. Something like fireworks are set off in his lungs. He cups his hands around the kitten and nods.  “It won’t,” he says. Xiao Jiu scoffs, and turns away.  —— The kitten, indeed, will not eat.  That’s alright. Yue Qingyuan is used to keeping alive little, starving things.

i animated this kiss over a couple days!! i'd love to animate more, and there are a couple of songs i've storyboarded things to, but honestly its just always a massive commitment and I usually can't spare the time for it.

Find each other to be inspiring in their own special way Luigi has a strong desire to be brave like his brother. He pushes his own boundaries while following after him, and exhibits shame in his inability to defend himself.

Meanwhile, we can see that Mario makes a conscious effort to play it safe and keep his mouth shut much the way Luigi does... even though Mario often ends up caving to his own bullheaded determination in the end.

I think instances where they act like each other are less a trauma response and more an effort to self-comfort and find balance.
