Quentin Malikov : Biography

(timothée chalamet, homosexual, male + he/him) → isn’t that QUENTIN MALIKOV? i’ve seen them hanging out with the HERETICS. i hear they’re 35 (turned at 23), but they’ve only been in alexandria for 3 years. they seem to be CUNNING & QUICK WITTED, but also POSSESSIVE & ARROGANT.

Quentin was born the youngest son to Dimitri Malikov, the leader of the St Petersburg coven of witches.

From a young age, Quentin was no stranger to the darker side of life, his father ruling the Russian criminal underworld with an iron fist.

It was discovered early on that instead of being a powerful witch like his elder brothers, Quentin was a siphoner, unable to produce magic of his own unless he stole it from others or magical items.

Instantly seen as a disappointment in his father's eyes, his ability like a dirty secret amongst the Malikov Family, Quentin was quickly ostracised by his coven, treated differently and always looked down upon.

While he never received the same level of attention as his brothers, he still enjoyed the power and privilege of the Malikov name, which he used to his advantage whenever he could - always looking for a way to prove himself.

Unbeknownst to his family, he fell into an unlikely relationship with a vampire and rival criminal mob boss.

For years the two kept their relationship a secret until Dimitri eventually found out his son's treachery and unable to accept that Quentin was in love with this vampire, he ordered his own son to be assassinated, seeing it as the easiest excuse to be rid of the black sheep of the family.

When the attempt on Quentin's life took place, he was saved, turned by Elias, becoming a vampire alongside him.

Since becoming a vampire, Quentin discovered that his vampirism finally unlocked the power of his magic he had never had accessed to. Now able to siphon from himself, he became a heretic, fully able to control his magic and no longer needed to steal from other witches.

Quentin soon learned of his prolific ability with magnetic manipulation and relishes in the power of his magic and how it can aid his Elias in all his pursuits.
