MER-LOVE, 1.1 ft. reo, isagi, bachira, chigiri, nagi
REQUEST: âHi hi!! I decided to take you up on your offer and request a part two to the Mer-love fic. This time can you add in reo and what would they do if researcher!reader brought someone along with them, like a co-worker and they think itâs readerâs partner?â
NOTES: jealousy hcs are always fun to write, thanks for requesting!! also to the people not interested in this au, donât worry iâll be posting other stuff soon anyway. i just want to get peopleâs requests finished & completed before i start writing my own ideas again <3
mer-love! masterlist here!
on occasion, you see REO coming to drag nagi off your boat if he overstays his welcome there, or if he thinks the lazy bastard needs a swim break before he dries out in the sun. you donât mind him, heâs very polite and as a first impression; you would say heâs a solid guy. the type you can rely on.
the merman initially presents himself as the epitome of confidence and elegance, but as you get to know him better, his playful and more down-to-earth nature shines through. while thereâs not necessarily a huge gap between the two, he definitely felt like he was trying to keep up appearances as the former personality. you suppose itâs a good thing he came out of his shell, because he visits you a lot nowadays! sometimes, you think even a bit too often. he usually comes with a multitude of gifts in his arms: stuff like pearls and any other valuable treasures from the ocean depths, etc.
like isagi, he willingly engages in conversation and shows a genuine interest in your research (particularly the financial aspectsâŠ) so thatâs definitely a plus. itâs very sweet of him regardless, so being a charmer must just be part of his personality.
as the days pass, your boat becomes a second home for not just one, but two mermenâreo and the ever-present nagi, albeit with varying levels of enthusiasm for most things. their banter is oddly nostalgic, itâs like your back at the lab, chatting with the colleagues who donât piss you off (it gets a bit lonely without the mermaids to talk to).
unbeknownst to you however, during those quiet moments when nagi drifts off to sleep and the conversation wanes, reo's attention shifts to you. as he observes your funny mannerisms and habits, he can't help but find them endearing. from your animated hand gestures, to the way you absentmindedly twirl a strand of hair, every detail captures his attention and leaves him quite captivated.
all in all, reoâs quite the sweetheart once youâre closer to him! letâs hope itâll last.
i imagine that youâd bring someone who youâd trust to keep this a secret from the higher ups, as well as a close friend of yours. so, what you consider innocent gestures like leaning over their shoulder, sitting together while eating, look quite misleading from a mermaidâs perspective. (especially if their love language was physical touch/in mermaid society or whatever, youâre only doing those types of things with your loverâŠ)
REO would be mortified at the sight of them. who is this person? why the hell did they come along with you? why are you talking to them?? please (and i stress this) donât tease him by saying, âoh, haha, theyâre my s/oâ as a joke, he would actually rather die. unlike the others, he seems openly irritated with your friendâs presence and isnât scared to voice it. to the point your colleague is like âwtf did you tell this guy about meâ.
ISAGI is the most ânormalâ, rationalising that theyâre probably just a coworker that you know. heâd only get antsy if your partner decides to get a little too close to you. even as chill and unassuming as he may be, isagiâs still got a pretty nasty ego on him. may or may not curse your coworkerâs entire generation for the rest of eternity.
BACHIRA would be friendly at first, acting all smiles and being his usual chatty self. but if your coworker decides to try anything the merman deems tooâŠunprofessional, theyâve got another thing coming for them. heâll snap at their fingers, or tear them off. jk, but he wouldnât be thrilled by it for sure. kinda just sits on a rock, lost in his own thoughts for a while.
CHIGIRI would pretend not to care at first, but itâs obvious by the glares he throws their way and the way his sarcasm seems to triple when talking to them that he doesnât like them. seriously, why this person? he simply tries to get your attention on him at first, until that doesnât work and he decides to âaccidentallyâ chuck water onto their face.
NAGI couldnât care less at first, key word: at first. but then youâre paying them more attention that you do him and his brain subconsciously makes up excuses to why he doesnât like them, granted some of these could be plausible but others are just straight up mean. their voice is so grating he canât sleep, their figure is blocking the sunlight shining on him, among other things. get them off your boat. now >:(

OMG HIII I JUST READ YOUR MERMAID POST AND CHIGIRI IS SO MMMHHM?!!!!!!!
can i request some drabbles / headcanons on expanding on the chigiri mermaid one PLSS đđđ i love ur work REMEMBER TO STAY HYDRATED
MER-LOVE, 1.2 ft. chigiri hyoma
mermaid au! chigiri with a researcher! reader
warnings: none
notes: iâm glad you like my writing, thanks for requesting anon! you stay hydrated as well. also LOVEEE chigiri, sorry the hcs are so short and honestly shitty!! again, sorry for lack of actual posts everyone, iâve just been tired and not in the mood to write a lot anymore.
mer-love! masterlist here !
answering your question previously, CHIGIRI got the scar from an accident a while back. it doesnât necessarily stand out, nor does it make him look any less gorgeous than he already does; but he still prefers to leave it out of sight for most people. he only lets you see it because you offered to check up on him and heâll gladly take up more of your time. in truth, he thinks itâs a little funny to see the others seething in the corner at how your attention is solely on him.
he is willing to hang out with you and others merfolk that he likes though, including but not limited to: isagi, bachira, kunigami, etc. much to your surprise (considering how different their personalities are), he gets along with barou and nagi too.
his jealousy is more tame in comparison to some mermen, but get the right person to rile him up just enoughâŠ
chigiri gets kinda sad if you only think of him as some brooding/moody guy, he could be just a cheerful as someone like bachira if he really wanted to!!
also hair products is an obvious one, no pretty/glittering bottles of hair care are safe from his wrath. it all started when he sees you carrying some bottles into the ship and once you explain what they were for, he eagerly asks to use one. i mean, can you blame him? it smells wonderful and makes his hair look fabulous. he isnât so desperate as to steal them, but he does show up every once in a while and just, expects you to bring one to him.
he also lets you braid, style, and comb his hair sometimes. keep the scissors away though. itâs always nice trying out different hairstyles with him, makes him happy and cuter than ever!
his love for cats would also carry over to this au i imagine, if youâve got pictures of a cat on your phone heâll scroll through them for hours on end. even better, if you manage to sneak a cat aboard your ship? heâs fawning all over it. when nobodyâs around, chigiri sometimes babytalks to it. probably wouldnât even care if it bit a chunk of his tail off, itâs far too adorable and sweet-looking.
would he be the type to give gifts? not nearly as much as reo, but typically heâll give you a nice flower for special occasions. if heâs feeling extra bold; heâll even place it behind your ear with the charming smile heâs always got.

MER-LOVE! 1.0 ft. isagi, bachira, chigiri, nagi
mermaid au! bllk boys with a researcher! reader
NOTES: can be read as platonic or romantic!! while sea monsters could 100% be cool and everything, i like the idea that theyâre all sparkly pretty mermaids (and idk any sea monsters except maybe a kraken or something). hope you enjoy this dumb drabble because i sure do!! also, sorry itâs so long, i was just rambling for the majority of this :â)
ISAGI and BACHIRA were your first encounter of many, many, more mermaids to come.
while isagi needed some time to grow used to your presence, bachira embraced you with open arms, or fins you suppose, always having a toothy grin on his face as he happily assisted you in your endeavours. whether it was gathering rocks, fish, or sea plants for your studies, they eagerly lent their aid, making research so much easier for you. you truly believe you got lucky with them, who knows what they mightâve tried if their intentions were more sinisterâŠ
grateful for their assistance and touched by their gestures of friendship, itâs hard not to grow attached to the pair of them. luckily for you, it seemed that the affection was mutual or at the very least, they tolerated you and that was good enough!
isagi, in particular, welcomes your inquiries about mermaid culture and their species as a whole, answering them to the best of his ability. heâs so earnest and genuine that you begin to feel a little guilty not giving him anything in return, so you try to gift him random things he might like every now and then. though, your first attempt still haunts you to this day..!
isagi's reaction catches you off guard as you observe his face, his wide eyes fixed attentively on the trinket nestled in his palm. the longer the two of you remained in silence, the more panic built up inside of you. "d-do you not like it? i'm so sorry, uhm, I'll just take it backâ" you fumble for the gift, regretting that you never researched more about mermaid gift-giving customs. what if gifting them things was disrespectful, or even worse, a sign of aggression!?
but before you can retrieve your gift, isagi's surprises you once more. he backs away from you, cradling the tiny object close to his chest protectively, his expression bordering on a pout as if he was offended that youâd dare try to take it back. "i want to keep it," he said, his tone leaving no room for argument.
bachira's affectionate nature contrasts a lot with isagi's initial wariness. in the beginning when you remained safely aboard your boat (still debating on whether theyâd try kill you or not), he whined that speaking to you while you were so far away was so difficult! just come a little closer, he doesnât bite!
most of the time anywayâŠ
but in the end, it was worth being patient because now the both of you are like two dolphins in a pod! the other merpeople often find him holding your hand in his or trying to drag you into the depths belowâŠwhat? itâs not dangerous at all! canât humans swim? he seems genuinely disappointed that you cannot stay underwater for more than a minute at best. the frown on his face is cute, but it tugs at your heartstrings any time you see it; maybe you should try to cheer him up?
the sudden weight on your shoulders startles you but the familiar voice that follows instantly calms your nerves. "it's really you! did you finally learn how to grow gills?" bachira's playful word is accompanied by a radiant smile, brimming with joy. he gestures towards your clothes with a quizzical expression.
unable to respond verbally with a snorkel pressed to your face, you opt to gently squeeze his cheek in affection. but you should be mindful of indulging him too much, knowing full well that his enthusiasm could easily lead to unrealistic expectations. after all, as much as you cherish your underwater adventures with him, staying in the water 24/7 is bound to come with a few side effects + your oxygen tank wonât last forever!
overall, 10/10 experience with these two. both are adorable, well-behaved (for you), and are one of the few duos that can actually be friends with eachother!
as CHIGIRI joins bachira and isagi on one of their daily excursions to visit you, you're immediately struck by his beauty, a sight that leaves you slightly speechless and captivated by his breathtaking appearance. however, your admiration is interrupted when you notice the scar marring one side of his tail. itâs only when he meets your eyes with an awkward yet understanding expression, that you realise youâre staring. even with the mountain of apologies that spill from your lips, he reassures you with a gentle smile that he knows youâre not trying to be rude.
because he looks like heâs in a mood on most days, youâre pleasantly surprised by his nonchalant personality and his sarcasm that was always delivered in a playful way (not him being a jerk), never failing to make you laugh. heâs just naturally charming, you think. once the initial awkwardness dissipates, befriending chigiri is pretty easy!
yet, despite your growing friendship, you hesitate to broach the topic of his scar, wary of going into potentially sensitive territory. thereâs just some things you can be curious about but shouldnât ask, yâknow? itâs only when your concerns inadvertently slip to Isagi in passing that bachira thinks to take it upon himself to ease the tension, a.k.a he tells chigiri everything (âeh? well, youâre worried about him so thatâs why you want to ask, right? why would he get mad?â).
you continue to apologise profusely for what seemed like the hundredth time, as chigiriâs attempts to reassure you fall on deaf ears. âitâs fine, really. the scarâs just an injury I got a year or so ago, i donât even think about it that much anymoreâŠâ he says, patting you on the shoulder (which according to humans, should be comforting?)
however, your persistent apologies donât seem to stop, much to his annoyance. with a swift flick of his tail, he splashes a wave of water in your direction, effectively stopping your stream of apologies mid-sentence. the sudden interruption serves as a clear message; he probably doesnât care to hear another âsorryâ from your mouth.
heâs someone who is easy to get along with, knows when to snap you out of your thoughts if necessary, and all in all nice to be around. whatâs not to like? (+heâs also pretty if that helps)
NAGI captured your attention once you saw him sleeping on the sun-warmed rock, which prompted you to call out to him. after a brief moment, he awakens, his metallic eyes flashing with annoyance that suggested your interruption was less than welcome.
sheepishly, you attempted to ask him a few questions, but he simply closes his eyes and settles back onto the rock. with a resigned sigh, you retreat to the safety of your boat, choosing to bide your time and observe the surroundings while making notes for your research. itâs only when nagi begins to get tired of the waves sometimes thrashing against his skin or other merfolk bothering him that he decides, enough was enough. heâs had an eye on the seemingly smooth surface that you often stand on, which could be a perfect spot for him to relax!
he proposes quite the enticing deal for you; in exchange for allowing him to nap on your water-house-thingy, heâll help with some research. itâs just answering questions, right? excited at the thought of more information; you eagerly accept his offer, completely unaware to the fact that he just sleeps. like. all day. however you soon discover that in spite of this, heâs actually quite intelligent. hand him a puzzle, a memorisation game or even something like sudoku and heâll probably solve it within a few seconds.
as nagi places the final puzzle piece onto the board, effortlessly completing the âtaskâ you set him, a sense of satisfaction washes over you even with his complaints. youâve grown used to his nonchalant tone, even as he unintentionally insults your decision. âitâs just looking at the picture and making it, itâs not that hard.â
you smile, âi think you'll find that you're just quite a clever person.â the compliment seems to cheer him up, eliciting a warm, fuzzy feeling that nagi can't quite describe. "mhmâŠ" he murmurs softly, content to bask in your presence and allowing his eyes to shut once more.
he doesnât do much but at least he doesnât cause much trouble for you either!

LOVE STRIKES ft. isagi, shidou, kaiser
a change in your rival's demeanour is be nothing serious, i mean, everyone gets tired of being competitive all the time. so, the look of longing in their eyes, the comments that seem more flirtatious than threatening, should be fine, right?
NOTES: perhaps i am, in fact, isagiâs #1 fan because heâs going to show up in basically every single blue lock post i make so get used to him LMAOOO. writing kaiserâs one made me feel something for him. ew. also i have no clue on how to write some of these characters so for the 2518616th time in a row, please excuse the fact that they are most definitely ooc.
making an enemy out of ISAGI is surprisingly straightforward, considering his more laid-back personality compared to everyone else at least. simply just be a bit of a diva (aka, just become kaiser 2.0), confidently brag about how much better you are than him and heâs a bit hopeless, isnât he? itâs wonât be long before he begins to get pretty irritable around you, feeling the urge to curse you out anytime you speak.
itâs not the ego he minds, really, but youâre just soâŠyou.
with a smirk, you peer over his shoulder as he struggles to catch his breath in practice. "is that all you've got? whatever happened to the genius on the pitch?" you taunt, wearing the smug expression he oh-so-despises. your shit-eating grin only widens at the sight of his furrowed brows and clenched teeth that betray his frustration, heâs so predictable, itâs almost sad! âthis is too easy,â you think.
which is why, he would describe it as humiliating as he realises he's starting to feel something beyond mere dislike towards you.
the discomfort between the two of you only worsens as he grows awkwardly silent at your blatant insults or even the mere mention of his name within earshot. seriously, is he just ignoring you? and when you condescendingly pat his head, calling him a sorry excuse of a striker, he justâŠstands there. and his cheeks are tinted red..? well, you suppose he couldâve just finished practice so heâs red âcause of exhaustion, yeah, that must be it. (cue everyone visibly shaking their heads and sighing very loudly.)
before your fingertips even make contact with his head, isagi already knows it's you standing beside him.
you tut, "still not giving up, huh? just how much do you enjoy losing anyway..." you pause. he doesn't swat your hand away or offer a retort like he would have a few weeks prior to today. you donât know whatâs changed, and this one-sided dynamic has become so boring that you begin to wonder if he's purposefully trying to embarrass you by ignoring you. but then, much to your horror, he absentmindedly responds with, âright. yeah.â
with your hand still resting on his hair, you donât even notice how he unconsciously leans into your touch while youâre still processing what just happened in your mind. how sneaky!
now this oneâs unfathomably easy. SHIDOU is someone who thrives on stirring up trouble; it can be with anything unlucky enough to catch his attention, be it a stranger bumping into him or even a dog walking off its leash. though, to capture his interest and earn his respect in earnest, you need to demonstrate the ability to âexplodeâ on the field but also able to play by his ârulesâ. but to truly kick off his fascination with you (pun intended), maintaining a nonchalant demeanor/keeping a distance between you two also helps. in my opinion, he seems like heâd be drawn to people who present themselves to be on the more mysterious side.
he approaches with his trademark flamboyance, his voice booming as he makes his way across the pitch. "hey, you! that was some seriously impressive play out there!" he declares, "i mean, seriously, those moves wereââ he goes off on a tangent about cells, explosionsâŠâthanks,â you say with a neutral expression on your face, even after he tried to jump on you??? almost broke your nose if you didnât dodge in time.
his personality is both captivating yet intimidating, and you find yourself instinctively retreating if he gets too close. even if he is one of the few players who willingly praises you outright. but shidou isn't deterred by your reaction; if anything, it only fuels his excitement. anyways in terms of romance, he operates on a vastly different wavelength from the conventional views on love. he doesn't recognise feelings of being flustered or the desire to shower someone with tender care and attention.
while shidou may experience a certain pull towards you, itâs driven by instinct rather than conscious understanding, he remains largely oblivious to the complexities of his emotions. unless youâre exceptionally perceptive or are somehow able to understand his underlying motives, you're likely to interpret his actions as a signal to maintain a safe distance.
âyouâre always so hard to pin down, you know that?â his voice calls out, watching as you continue on your way, seemingly unfazed by his presence. he debates on whether or not to smash your face into the ground but then, he pauses.
despite everything, thereâs something undeniably exhilarating about being around you. a sense of freedom, a release from the constraints of his existence. being with you makes him happy. itâs a thought that prompts him to think how nice itâd be if you felt the same way about himâŠhuh. oh well. even if you donât, it wonât stop him from hanging out with you.
for KAISER, it's also decently easy. either defeat him on the soccer field or simply refuse to conform to his philosophy of everyone revolving around him; just donât be a pushover. heâll gladly take any opportunity to crush someone whose ego far outweighs their abilities, but when confronted by someone with the skills to match their confidence? he becomes both intrigued and slightly irked.
especially if theyâre someone who canât stand him, which to be fair, isnât all that difficult.
as you catch sight of a familiar head of blonde hair fading into blue entering through the doorway, you internally groan. he saunters over, flashing his signature smirk. "well, if it isn't my most favourite jester," he drawls, his tone dripping with arrogance. "you're looking rather defeated today. are you finally coming to term with the fact that you'll never match my level?"
as time passes however, he finds himself inexplicably drawn to your presence, even noticing the small details about you. the way your eyes lit up when you seemed to figure something out, the subtle quirks that made you, you. eventually, the realisation that his actions were out of love dawns on him. heâll certainly try to deny it, brushing off the unfamiliar feelings as mere annoyance or frustration, but as he catches himself stealing glances in your direction and seeking out opportunities to be near you, he canât help but admit defeat.
michael kaiser, the once arrogant and self-assured soccer prodigy, had fallen deeply and irrevocably in love with you.
he found himself wanting to impress you, to make you smile, to be the best version of himself for you. and, what began as subtle glances and fleeting touches soon evolved into more obvious displays of affection.
he finds excuses to brush against you or in close proximity of you, his hand lingering a fraction longer when shaking yours or his fingers grazing yours when passing objects. kaiser also seems to be fond of leaning close towards you nowadays, his face mere inches from yours as if testing the boundaries of your rivalry with eachother. additionally, your pet name has been upgraded from jester to âlieblingââŠwhatever that even means. must be weird if it makes his teammates raise a brow every time he says it.
his boldness never fails to catch you off guard, but his next words are something you truly donât expect. "i love you."

MINE FOREVER ft. jouno + tetcho
you couldâve never imagined in your wildest dreams that two members of an elite military group would both gain an interest in you. flattering, right? well, with the chain on your ankle, you really wish they didnât.
WARNINGS: yandere themes, implied kidnapping, mentions of injuries
NOTES: is it spelt tetcho, tetchou, or tecchou?? anyways, had this idea sitting in my drafts for ages so i decided to post it. love these guys a lot and they have such good yandere potential. more people need to write for tetcho!! minors DNI please!
i feel like with these two, especially if youâre a civilian, itâs inevitable that youâll find yourself confined within some building that serves as a makeshift âhomeâ for you. a place hidden from the knowledge of anyone, besides the few guards who check on your wellbeing every so often when tetcho and jouno are out on extended missions. donât get your hopes up though; they respect and fear the two hunting dog members too much to disobey orders and allow you to escape. any actions like searching the house for something or with the intention to find an escape route are swiftly reported to them.
but hey, if it makes you feel any better about your situation, having both men infatuated with you is a much easier time than if it were only one! reason being, they balance eachother out in a weird way.
TETCHO is âkindâ, in a sense. heâll happily let you cling to him, gently wiping away any stray tears that fall down your cheeks, apologise over and over again that you feel so trapped but itâs for your own good, he swears. but with this kindness comes overbearing protectiveness. heâs stubborn, but maybe, just maybe, if youâve been on your best behaviour lately you could manage a few minutes outdoors (with him watching over you) before being promptly escorted back inside.
a calloused hand grabs hold of yours, its grip firm yet gentle. "let's get you back inside now. are you hungry? would you like something to eat?" tetcho's voice carries a comforting tone as he guides you back indoors, much to your dismay.
i imagine this is one of the few aspects JOUNO is slightly more laidback on than tetcho, heâs more confident in that you wonât run away because staying home like a good s/o is preferable to being punished, donât you think? you learn to tolerate his snarky attitude because when heâs in a good mood, he occasionally lets you join him on a quick trip to a cafe, perhaps even buy you a gift if he hears your heart rate pick up in excitement.
jouno comes to an abrupt halt, turning to face you. âis there something you want? your heartbeat is awfully quick.â startled, you fumble over your words, a twinge of fear creeping in at the prospect of another âpunishmentâ, causing you to shake your head. "n-no, of course not. iâ" before you can finish your sentence, you find yourself being whisked away to the store seemingly against your protests, only to discover a nice gift box being placed in your hands as you leave.
nevertheless, he wonât hesitate in showing what heâs capable of doing if you try anything funnyâŠright. punishments from jouno leave you feeling numb after, despite the visible bruises and cuts that litter your skin and throb with pain. unlike his colleague, he wonât be swayed by your tears, no matter how much begging or pleading you do. lucky for you however, tetcho always intervenes if he deems the punishment too excessive for your âcrimeâ. heâs also the one who tends to any wounds afterward, carefully bandaging your body while reassuring you that jouno likely didnât mean any harm, heâs just worried about you! and, to avoid consequences like this again, you should just accept that you wonât escape anytime soon.
tetcho pats your head, his touch almost patronising, just as jouno reenters the room. "this situation could have been avoided if you hadn't attempted to escape," he chides in a gentle but reproachful tone. you donât bother lifting your head, already anticipating the expression on his face, a sight that would only intensify the queasiness swirling in your stomach.

I saw your various x android reader and i love it!
But what about they picking women and putting them to cheer, like picked some famous models, singers and suff and put them to cheer up, how would they react and act around reader and her cheer group? (I lowkey imagine isagi staring the thighs during breaks)
Can you please do it? Thank you for considering đș if possible fem pov but if you can't do it no problem đ„° (forgive my doulingo eng i'm too lazy to check the mistakesđ)
CHEER CHARM ft. isagi, bachira, chigiri, rin
everyone needs a little motivation every now and again, especially some random teenagers aiming to be the best in the world! what could be better than having a bunch of cute girls cheer you on?
WARNINGS: could be considered slightly suggestive?, fem!reader if youâre not into that, all the players are mildly possessive in their own way, idk how to write rin
NOTES: ASGWNQKVA- this idea is so??? cute!! lovely idea anon! as always, thank you very much for requesting! since youâve basically explained the whole concept already, i hope youâll forgive me if i just skip to the characters instead of writing an introduction :) sorry this is pretty bad, if i write another part on this, i promise itâll be better (hopefully).
even though ISAGI has quite the foul mouth on the field, heâs also got his own fair share of insecurities/attributes about himself that he dislikes. having constant praise flooded at him during game time will definitely be a boost to his ego confidence! and by super pretty idols/models no less! yes, he might stare just a second too long before quickly averting his eyes out of embarrassment. if you ask him whatâs wrong, with curious eyes and an innocent tone of voice, heâll probably combust on the spot. iâm talking red face, stuttering, about to fall over from cringe. please donât do it on purpose, he wonât be able to face you for a week or so.
it is a little (understatement) frightening to see the transition from off-field isagi to on-field isagi though. if heâs feeling particularly involved in a match, donât be too shocked if he tells you to basically ignore everyone or the dude whose dragging the team down (sorry barou). focus on him. only him.
BACHIRA thinks itâs fun! not even because a bunch of gorgeous girlies went out of their way to cheerlead for them, he just likes the extra support on the field.
he probably wouldnât mind if you adorned his face with glittery stickers while he was asleep, he finds it cute! only if youâre the one doing it though~ bachira is naturally an affectionate guy, so he can get a bit touchy at times. not even in a perverted way, he just wants a hug after a good game, yâknow? obviously, you donât want some sweaty ass guy on you after cheering your lungs out for 90mins straight, so you politely decline his offer which makes him puff his cheeks or pout.
but in all seriousness, he truly loves the support in matches; no matter how ridiculous or borderline insane the plays he makes, you donât tell him to stop or that heâs wasting his potential by doing them. he simply adores that about you!
now then, the original pretty princess in blue lock, CHIGIRI doesnât pay much attention to you at first. heâs a bit quiet, if not a little stoic too. it takes a while for him to open up to you and your cheer group but once he does, thereâs no going back iâm afraid. youâll see him any time he needs one of your hair care products, hair ties, brushes, etc. etc. though, his presence is more than welcomed most of the time. heâll happily listen in on any drama/gossip you guys have before voicing his own opinion which always make you laugh (likeâŠthe sass on this man??)
on the field, he would prefer it if he was the only one you were cheering for, a sentiment he would never admit it aloud. heâs got too much pride for that. it is, however, slightly obvious on whose his favourite when youâre the only person who can freely touch his hair and style it. or when youâre the only idol/model that heâs bought magazines of back at home. or whenâ (his sister would probably love to share more)
as for the seemingly cold-hearted striker who has captured everyoneâs hearts regardless, he couldnât care less. RIN might even see you as a distraction more than anything. especially since itâs practically inevitable that some of his teammates are going to want to impress the group of girls cheering them on. and quite frankly, he doesnât need your support or encouragement if he wants to beat sae.
just give him some time though, even if he tries to keep up this attitude itâll eventually melt away in due time. like chigiri, he wonât appreciate it if you cheer anyone else on but unlike him, rin will outright say you shouldnât cheer anyone else on because. heâs the best player. obviously. why would you need to cheer for these lukewarm plays the other strikers do.
i mean, hey, at least the cheering is working? even if his words are slightly harsher than he intends at time, you can be glad to know that he does hold some semblance of affection for you.

I really like your various! blue lock x android! gn!reader very much. Could it have a part 2 :3?
P/s: My English is not good and I had to use a translation tool to make this request, I hope you understand, have a nice day <3
WIRED HEART, 2.0 ft. chigiri, kunigami, reo, nagi
in an attempt to further develop the egos and train the upcoming football starsâ skills, the japan football association introduces a cutting-edge addition to their program; an android!
NOTES: hope you have a nice day too anon! you didnât specify any characters so i just went with who i think are popular. and accidentally made this one way better than the first part? oops. also made reo & nagiâs way longer than the others?? idk how that even happened, iâm so neutral about those two i literally do not have a single opinion on them. deadass my fav character is chigiri so i wanted him to get five arrows instead of four.
pt.1 here! (ft. niko, bachira, isagi)
i love CHIGIRI, but he would definitely be the least enthusiastic about you (initially) out of team-z. as he came to blue lock to end his career once and for all, he isnât exactly in the right headspace to interact with thisâŠperson..? thing?
in which i mean, why bother when youâre so perfect at everything? itâs practically the universe telling him that his dream wasnât worth chasing before he could begin get his hopes up. like isagi but even more of a pessimist; a human will never, ever, reach the capabilities of a machine. it only further roots his opinions on himself and what the future holds for him, nothing.
i feel like a bit of bitterness might also reveal itself if you ever spoke on his reluctance to improve. he knows that you donât mean to poke any fun at him when you ask why he doesnât bother to train as hard as the others, he knows that youâre not being rude (on purpose) when you tell him he could exceed his current ranking if he just tried, he knows that he canât lash out at you for doing your job. or rather, he should know that. he should understand why youâre doing this, but he doesnât. he ends up telling you, essentially, to mind your business.
also, perhaps some slight jealousy because youâre an android? even if you got âinjuredâ, it was temporary. one day of repairing would be enough for you to come back in mint condition, unlike his which would likely end his soccer career if it tore againâŠwell it doesnât matter, chigiri highly doubts you have the coding to comprehend humans anyway.
after finally getting his character development in the match against team-w, he does change though. it might not be instant, but he does slowly become more willing to listen to your advice and push himself to reach the number one spot. i donât think he would apologise (not that you really care), at least not with words. itâs more-so his actions that tell you heâs sorry for his previous behaviour. he stays for the entirety of practice, even doing more than he should, become more talkative in strategy meetings, occasionally speaking to you, etc.
heâs still a bit awkward around you, but âin a stranger-turning-into-a-friendâ sort of way rather than an âi-hate-your-guts-and-wish-you-didnât-serve-as-a-constant-reminder-of-what-i-couldâve-beenâ kind of way. he does try to be nicer too! if youâre in a form of sleep mode or charging up power, heâll volunteer to watch over you as heâs blow drying his hair. if youâre ever curious about some more human aspects of life, heâll answer your questions (most of the time) to the best of his ability. small stuff like that.
KUNIGAMI is a sweetheart through and through; helpful, caring, the standard of any nice guy. i think heâs be just as kind with you as he is with anyone in blue lock, it doesnât matter that youâre not human.
of course, he isnât without his own skepticism. in my opinion, he has a more âtraditionalâ view of soccer. he might find the concept too detached from the values of soccer heâs grown up believing in: teamwork, fair play, the unpredictable nature of human players. could an android really be programmed to do all that? could it really manage to copy the dynamics and emotional aspects of coaching that a human can provide?
but then, he sees you in action and all of his doubts vanish, replaced by a newfound sense of respect for you as he acknowledges you not merely as a machine, but as a genuine trainer. he accept your criticism and follows them to a t, evident in his improved performance during one-on-one drills and general matches. this only reinforces his belief that youâre a good person! sure, maybe itâs just your coding that makes you help him, but youâre also the product of someone genuinely invested in the playersâ success and improvement. thatâs enough for him.
it also helps that you can adjust to any playerâs preferences at a whim, as well as your build being quite similar to him. itâs easier to practice when he doesnât have to worry about his partner being knocked over by the sheer muscle heâs got, in fact, he should be more worried about your metal body hurting him (which is pretty rare for a guy like kunigami)! if you need any heavy lifting done, e.g. carrying boxes or supplies, moving weights to another training room, or even just generic chores, heâll gladly lend a hand.
now, if weâre talking about it kunigami after wildcardâŠeven you notice the stark change in his demeanour, which says something. like, what do you mean you donât want to be a hero anymore? when did your plays get so aggressive? do humans always change their mind this frequently? your curiosity is piqued but nevertheless, you donât treat him any differently from when he was in team-z. he (somewhat) appreciates that. the two of you mostly just sit in silence if there isnât anyone else around.
ever the business man he has grown up living as, REO isnât exactly shocked when he hears about you. the guy reads finance and business magazines in his free time, no doubt heâs kept an ear out of the last discoveries in technology and whatnot.
and yet despite this, heâs genuinely taken aback when he sees an actual android functioning as a trainer. while you might assume he'd have anticipated such advancements in technology by now and he probably has, it doesnât stop the feeling of raw excitement when he sees you. i mean, an android is a pretty big deal! iâm not sure if he would talk to you directly or admire from afar at this point, but either of the two would work.
though, with that excitement also comes an underlying sense of sadness. heâll probably get bored of you someday, like the rest of the things in his life tend to go. the initial enthusiasm would fade away, and heâs left with boredom again. pretty sad, huh? but thatâs just the way things go, reo thinks, nothing much he can do about that. much to his surprise however, seeing you on the artificial green fields of blue lock only makes himâŠmore excited..? strange. well, at least he isnât bored of you yet (iâd warn you though, the moment he realises that you wonât ever grow boring to him is the day youâll say goodbye to any alone time you once had).
after that he sort of treats you like he does nagi, albeit to a lesser extent. basically forces you to hang out with them, âweâre the only ones who score anyway so should you pay attention to the others?â kinda attitude. of course (unlike his lazy companion) you make decisions based on pure logic and you wonât simply forgo your job like that. it riles him up even more tbh, after all, anything worth having should not be given to him; he should have to work for it. but no matter how much he tries, his words will never sway you or bother you in the least. also not sure if heâd give up or just straight up intensify his behaviour (can you tell i know his character just so well?)
once nagi leaves him in the dust for isagi however, his whole mindset changes. heâs got no-one else and nothing else going for him in blue lock, his own treasure abandoned him like dirt and the only thing on his mind is to make nagi feel as alone as he did (which doesnât really work). even though you are an android who probably couldnât care less about these dorks, youâre also programmed to make sure every player performs their best. which includes boosting their morale! eh, but itâll take a lot more than a few words of encouragement to help this guy (again, i have zero clue if he would appreciate your âsympathyâ or hate it.)
on the opposite end of the spectrum, NAGI stands out as one of the few who genuinely couldn't care less about the idea of an android trainer. to him, it's just a "oh cool. anyways-" situation. he 100% forgets youâre even an android sometimes.
in the early stages of blue lock, nagiâs passion for soccer ranges from minimal to non-existent. at most, he thinks youâd come in pretty handy when he wants to laze about which appeals to him quite a lot. if reo ever feels too tired to carry him to the dining hall (hypothetically speaking of course, reoâs never had that issue) you could be a perfect substitute. robots canât complain, can they? thatâs one thing he would definitely like about you. he doesnât mind the silence either, talking too much is a hassle anyway.
his only complaint about you now is that you care, way more than he thought you would. itâs not exactly what he was imagining. itâs kind of annoying. you nag at him: saying he shouldnât skip practice, he should spend more time not being so reliant on reo, his attitude to soccer wonât earn him the title of the number one striker. that last one especially irks him in a way, but he wonât ever admit it. he doesnât even know why his face slightly tilts downwards when you say that stuff, he doesnât care. yep. he doesnât care. not at all. nagi considers one of his actually positive traits is that heâs a pretty chill guy, so he doesnât run into conflict with others all that often. your persistent, unwanted advice seems to be the exception here.
but, arguing with an android seems like way more of a hassle than just ignoring you. besides, even reoâs persuasion canât convince you that he can afford to skip practice, even if he listed all of nagiâs talent and achievements as a player one by one. you only reply back in that same, stupid, monotonous tone as always. âexactly. talent is what has got him here. not skill.â canât you just accept heâs good at soccer and let him sleep in? canât you do anything but complain, and complain, andâ ah. maybe heâs losing himself a little. he admits, no one (except you know who) has ever cared so much about what he did in his life.
following the loss to team-z and fueled by a growing curiosity, heâs much more interested in your advice. even if it doesnât look like heâs paying attention as heâs playing a game on his phone, he is. nagi now wants to improve and beat isagi, his newfound determination is honestly a bit a jarring for you. i mean, this is a good thing that heâs so motivated now, right? must mean youâre doing a good job so far, good on you? he now wants to be better, heâs got the ego and wants it to expand further too, what more could you have hoped for? he doesnât even realise that he finds your nagging a bit more endearing now.

WIRED HEART, 1.0 ft. niko, bachira, isagi
in an attempt to further develop the egos and train the upcoming football starsâ skills, the japan football association introduces a cutting-edge addition to their program; an android!
NOTES: low-key my best idea yet, very proud of myself for this one. maybe iâll write about this more for other characters, for now i just chose some of my favourites.
pt.2 here! (ft. chigiri, kunigami, reo, nagi)
slowly, you feel your eyes flicker open, only to be greeted by a beaming smile from a woman with reddish-brown hair.
she appears as though she can hardly contain her excitement, a small cheer escaping her lips as you power up. âego-san, look! theyâve turned on!â she squeals, her eyes have a bright look in them as she speaks. the man who the woman seems to be referring to, however, remains fixated on his instant noodles, offering no words in response.
the womanâs enthusiasm fades slightly, replaced by a hint of annoyance. muttering to no one in particular, âyou could try showing at least a little enthusiasm.â in her eyes, this was probably the kindest thing the jfa could have/have done for them. with a slight shake of her head, she redirects her attention to you, her gaze lingering on a manual before she nods, as if affirming the instructions. "hello there, my name is teieri anri! you can register me as aââ anri pauses, glancing back to the paper in her hands, ââblue lock faculty member!'"
"understood," you respond, voice devoid of any signs of emotion. your head mechanically bobs up and down in acknowledgment.
anriâs enthusiasm doesn't waver, practically jumping for joy at your rather lackluster response. "woahâŠit's like one of those mecha cartoons from when i was a kid!" she says, grinning from ear to ear. her excitement only grows when she takes a closer look at you. anri points toward the man still engrossed in his food. "register him as ego jinpachi, another blue lock faculty member, please!"
your eyes remains fixed on her until your automated voice finally breaks the silence. "understood. teieri-san, i believe that you do not have to manually input everyoneâs status in blue lock. please upload any files you may have into my system for a smoother and quicker experience, you may find that studying the manual can guide you."
anri blinks in surprise, her initial excitement giving way to confusion. "ah...you don't?" she utters, heaving a sigh of relief. well, that definitely makes things easier. more rest is always welcomed!
well, enough of the introduction, itâs time to talk about the players! one person who i think would definitely be intrigued by the notion of an android, is none other than NIKO!
this may come as a slight surprise as itâs not really explored in the manga/anime (as far as iâm aware), but if youâve read the light novel which includes his back story; he is pretty passionate about manga and anime, more specifically, yu gi oh. while this trait of his is supported by his parents, itâs a different story in school. âwhile he was usually a quiet kid who barely spoke at all, he would become talkative if the topic was about card gamesâ.
this stark contrast led most to be taken aback by the sudden change in behaviour but more than that, it was the âsparkâ in his eyes that frightened them. he starts to grow out his bangs. i think this could cause him to open up more around you: an android canât judge him, complain that heâs talking too much, complain that heâs not talking enough. you simply listen. the rational part of his mind understands that this isnât because you care about him or anything, itâs programmed into you.
he sees this quite vividly especially in training as well, no matter how much time he spends with you, you remain as stoic as you were upon first meeting and are equally as relentless to cut his chances of passing to another teammate in a match too. on the other hand, you donât care if he rambles on about his card decks for hours on end, you donât care if he doesnât want you to see his eyes, you donât care when he begins to play more selfishly in order to score his own goals.
niko supposes that this distance between the two of you is fine, at least you donât seem like youâre going to leave his side anytime soon (more like you canât). besides, he enjoys your company just the same. also, he just thinks the whole robot thing is super cool! (excluding the time he has to wait for you to power on, charge up, shut down, etc. honestly, heâs only 15 and he feels like heâs growing grey hairs by the time youâre finished).
similarly, BACHIRA also finds you incredibly interesting! though, heâd be interested regardless if you were human or not. after all, heâs never had a coach/trainer thatâs truly understood his plays. blue lock has to be the place where he finds the one for sure!
and in a sense, he does. even if all you do is return his constant energy with a blank stare, when it comes for game time, youâre completely different. anytime he finds himself wanting to add more excitement to the game, youâre always there at his side (even if youâre half-way across the pitch already). who knows, maybe the monster finds that you could be the most challenging opponent yet!
though he does share similarities with niko; like the isolation and loneliness they both feel before blue lock, one major difference is that heâs less willing to entertain the idea that youâre only acting upon lines of code to interact with him. even if it sounds cheesy, he knows you must have a heart within you somewhere, a soul. all he needs to do is help you awaken that humanity, and then, you can play fun games with him forever!
if weâre talking about bachira after his character development, heâs still the same loveable goofball as always but with some minor adjustments. he accepts that he wonât be able to achieve his dreams with a simple excuse like yearning for friendship/just playing for fun but also accepts how his friends can also help him towards that goal.
he puts more emphasis on testing his limits now when you train together, no longer wanting to rely on others for his ego, bachiraâs new play style is one more befitting of an egotistical striker. of course, he still loves to hang out with you (even though you barely talk), train with you (you basically just slaughter him for an hour straight) and probably introduces you to new people quite often! he still likes to think you care for him, heâll cherish the moments you spend together like theyâre his last.
now, i canât forget about my main man ISAGI!! (love-hate relationship with this nerd) i think heâd definitely be a little awkward with you at first but grows a bit more used to you after a while.
in the beginning of blue lock, i imagine heâd be a little discouraged. i mean, how is a human meant to beat a machine? youâre better in everything, physically (you are quite literally a giant moving tank of metal), mentally (cannot feel emotions/get stressed or panicked), built to copy moves from world famous players?? how is he meant to keep with that? i imagine heâd be a little intimidated by you in all honesty.
once he gains a better understanding of his ego and what his abilities are though, he starts seeing you more like a goal to reach, rather than some miracle. of course, he understands what his limits are and what he can and cannot do, but heâs more motivated to train with you in order to get better.
genuinely starts growing more fond of you the more time you spend together. he knows youâre an android and probably will never have the same opinion of him, no matter how many months pass by. in a way, itâs oddly comforting to him that your feelings on him will never change. isagi often worries of what impact his words and actions have on others, he strikes me as a guy whose always been neutral on most things just to keep everyone happy (pretty sure this is why he starts saying some wild stuff during matches). soccer is one of the few things that he can release all of his emotions on.
overall, a pretty chill dude all things considered. always thanks you after training sessions, has a smile on his face whenever you give him any advice. to be honest, he canât help it. blue lock is full of geniuses with egos the height of skyscrapers, cocky bastards, just plain weirdos, etc. some guys here just donât understand basic politeness. itâs nice to have someone whose skilled but also not a total jerk about it!
i kinda gave up but take some scraps of ideas that i had:
i mentioned it slightly in isagi, but itâd definitely be interesting if you could replicate moves from real players, like the blue lock goalies in the second selection. one character in particular i think this could work really well with is RIN, especially during training for the u-20 match. when he realizes he can play against sae again, he's (secretly) ecstatic. the idea of copying, or even better, beating sae's moves makes him seek you out more in the training period than heâs ever done since the beginning of blue lock.
would also work with SHIDOU, if a player who can create a chemical reaction with him does not exist in blue lock, it can exist in you. a shame youâll most likely never play in an official match but heâll settle for training against you, not for long though. however, even that can become slightly limited as he finds out your potential is infinite by all means, which causes him to get ever so slightly more aggressive in his plays against you. canât have you being sent for repair every week.
