Sometimes I read a post on this website and I just KNOW it was either written by a child or someone with a severe victim complex like please grow up and get some perspective
#not everyone in life is out to get you#sometimes people just fuck up#and yeah maybe it affects you negatively and you have to deal with that#so deal with it#to go around assuming everyone has ill intentions is so bizarre and incredibly myopic#deadass just read the sentence ‘all adults know exactly what they’re doing to you’#???? i don’t know how tiontwll you this but age is not some magical cure to ignorance#you don’t turn a certain age and suddenly become a perfect person with all the answers to the universe#people are flawed#those flaws fuck people up#that’s life#yes there are people out there who intentionally do harm#but to say that about every single adult is just bizarre#like damn I have a complex relationship with the adults in my life too#but I still learned to view them as the human beings they are and realize we are all products of our environments and experiences#there’s a lot of things I wish my mom did better as a parent#but I’ve also gotta come to terms with the fact that she was going through a lot too and didn’t have all the answers#that’s life!#we’re all just fumbling along trying to do our best#again yes there are parents who are downright evil#but I feel like a lot of y’all struggle with the inbetween stuff#there’s no such thing as a perfect parent please be serious right now
