Val blocked a large blast from Temp as he- hey! You're late! I already started without you! .....fine I'll start over.

Val held Julian close as she woke up for her morning routine, she made sure to be gentle when squeezing his stomach because of the hit he took at yesterdays practice. She slowly sat up and stretched, getting up to shower and brush her teeth. As she walked towards the bathroom she stepped on one of Julian's plushies, and as she knelt down to pick it up Julian woke up and sat up carefully, rubbing his eyes. "Val...." Julian said as he opened his pitch black eyes, looking at Val. "Yes love?" Val replied as she stood up and handed Julian his plushie. "Can we just stay home today?..." Julian asked, hugging the plushie. "I wish I could love, but you're gonna have to stay home alone today, ok?" Val said, petting Julian on the head. "Ok..." Julian said, flopping back down onto the bed. "Just get some rest and take the meds the medic gave you ok?" Val said, kissing Julian on the cheek. "Mk..." Julian said hiding under the blankets. Val grabbed her clothes and went to the bathroom to shower. A few minutes later Val walked out of the bathroom, letting out a bunch of steam from her shower. Val walked over to Julian to check on him, seeing he had fallen asleep. "Cute..." Val said, walking out of the room and downstairs to her kitchen. "Let's see..." Val said as she opened the fridge, looking for the eggs and bacon. A small cat rubbed against Val's legs as she grabbed the eggs and bacon. "Aye, Vince, I'm not feeding you any bacon." Val said as Vince hopped onto a chair at the table. "No." Val said as she put a pan on the stove turning the stove to medium heat. Vince meowed angrily at Val, sounding like he was saying "fuck you" to Val. "Also, can you shift back, you're getting hair everywhere." Val said, cracking four eggs into the pan. Vince shifted back to his human form and said "Fine." As Val placed six strips of bacon in the pan. "You're a real pain in the ass sometimes. Where's your boyfriend?" Val said looking over at Vince. "He's asleep. After yesterday's training he felt exhausted." Vince said, crossing his arms. "Didn't sound like he was exhausted last night." Val said raising her eyebrow. "Well- he-" Vince Turned red, scoffing at Val's statement. "Mhm. You two need to keep the noise down or else Julian's not gonna get the rest he needs." Val said, flipping the bacon. "Ok, ok, I get it, I'm a loud moaner." Vince said, getting up. "Go get Temp, he needs his breakfast or else he'll be grumpy." Val said putting the eggs on plates. "Got it" Vince said, walking to his room.
