3t2 Ambitions Diner Mini Set

I have a small gift for you today: a neon coffee cup sign and the Ambitions diner as a trolley for your neighborhood.

The diner sign should be in Deco > Misc for §199. Neon bits glow at night and it should be viewable from NH. I made two recolorable subsets so you can recolor the coffee cup or the neon lights separately.

For the neighborhood streetcar I hacked off the metal building (see Blender before/after pics below) and cleared out the furniture inside to reduce the poly count. I made the windows opaque blue glass because otherwise it's just empty inside.

Should be in Neighborhood > Misc

There wasn't much else worth harvesting from this rabbithole, so that's all I have for you today. Enjoy!

Today we're taking a little time to work on our sim selves. Our DID system has many alters, but these four are the main that front the most. (For those that are confused, this conversation is about my actual living situation, not just on Sims; we are using Sims4 to create our self portraits, or as close as we can get.)

Kessendra, or Kess, presents herself as Elven, and typically takes on the responsibilities involving self-care. Her craft is sewing, and she makes wicked awesome dice bags.

Tizzy presents himself as a satyr, and doesn't front all that often, as he is a male alter in a female body, but he loves to cook and is into the more extreme sports. He swears he will take us snowboarding some day, but he is seriously the only one interested. The rest of us... not so much. His craft is cooking, and recently he has picked up making jams!

Morrigan presents herself as a demon, misunderstood for a long time as the persecutor when she was really doing everything she could to keep the body safe. She has chosen to keep the self-image because she feels it reminds herself and the rest of us that a demon can care. Her craft is chainmail, both armor and jewelry.

Phoenix presents herself as a flaming fuck-off bird when she's mad or wants to be left alone, but for the most part she holds the image of a terran. She is the host of our system, fronting the most. Her craft is mostly digital work, and things made from that like pendants and vinyl work with her Cricut.

There are others in our system, our collective of chaos, our Craftastrophe (that's our shop name). Glad to meet y'all.

start fucking naming creators who are shady.

stop trying to avoid drama by vague posting. we have people out here being threatened to kill themselves. sexually targeted. literal children attempting suicide. people being doxed. people being targeted for not supporting someone else.

it. is. fucking. sickening.

wanna know what is more sickening? watching this all happen and staying silent. each threat sent. each suicide attempted. each sexually targeted victim. all those doxed. that is as much your fault for staying silent while having the platforms to make a change.

but here i am, going through death threats. legal battles. being told to unalive myself. 5400 followers on twitter. 32 on my new tumblr. 140ish on insta. why the fuck am i screaming louder than those who have the means to garner attention with one tweet/post/photo?

i will tell you why, those creators, they care just as little as the ones getting their hands dirty.

no one is innocent when they are silently watching this all happen.

So I wanna talk about this, because we're not doing this.

tw: sexual harrassment, suicide attempt references, etc. Here's the deal. If you have a legitimate reason why you can't speak up, such as too much shit going on in your real life, or something being triggering, that's one thing. But refusing to speak up because you "don't want attention" is bullshit. Believe it or not, I would prefer NOT to have to do what I do here on simblr and twitter. I don't like having to try to shout into the wind at a community that seems not to give a damn. But, I do it because I know this is right. And I have my convictions. The problem is, we need people to speak up. Here's what's FUNNY to me. EA changes the rules on paid CC and for 1.5 days everyone and their mother had an opinion or a thought on what was going on. You had people worried about losing livlihoods, you had people cussing out EA and their own supporters, you had full on tantrums and people blaming the paywallers...you had a full spectrum of reactions. YET, when I am sexually harrassed, have an active smear campaign running against me, when @timmssimmsplays is told to go off himself, when Bucky (who isn't in the community anymore) attempts to harm themselves TWICE....the community is quiet as a mouse. THAT. IS. FUCKED. UP.

I do not care what community you are in, that is a fucked up state of priorities when a community cares more about potentially losing a chance to make money over people being told to ki1l themselves.

And you wanna know what allowed this shit to go on? It's people like you who are so fucking scared of people they "admire" chastising them, that they never speak up even when those people are literally fleecing everyone else and treating the community like shit. I get that it's hard to speak up on your own. But you can reblog. You can share resources. You can write a short statement saying "I am not for how this community has been taken advantage of by certain people and I will not support those people." You can educate new creators. There's tons of ways to speak up without being AS vocal as I am. But staying silent is NOT an option. Staying silent is allowing people to potentially DIE.

This is not "pointless sims drama". This is people's lives. Real people's mental health being attacked over a fucking video game. But if more people speak up, they can't attack everyone, and maybe, just maybe, they'll realize we're bigger than they are.

^ This is how paywallers and their minions think. They don't want people standing up to them. Because they are growing fat off of us. They are taking vacations and making doctors salaries off of us, often using models they didn't fucking make themselves. And when we start to rise up, they attack those who are brave like myself and Timm and try to get us to shut up for fear the rest of you guys will join us. Because if you do, that's the ballgame. So it's time to stop living in fear of people WE outnumber. It's time for us to stop being afarid of them. They are REPLACABLE. Their work can be REPLICATED. We do NOT need them in our community. This is no longer a #sims issue. This is a LGBTQ+ issue because Timm is Gay and got harrassed. This is a #metoo issue because I got sexuallty targeted and harrassed. This is a transgender rights issue because Cowbuild told Bucky (a trans man) that he didn't exist. This is a cyber security issue because paywallers are tracking private information and sharing it among each other and we STILL don't have the full list of what's going on.

This is NO longer just some shitty sims drama. These are fucking REAL world issues. And if you are silent, you are complacent. The ONLY excuse you have for not speaking up is if the real world is too much for you right now, or the subject/content is too triggering. That's honestly it.

If you can't speak for yourself, reblog my shit, reblog shit from @littleblackbooksims, or other people who speak on this, but you CANNOT and should not stay silent if you have the ability to speak.
