Hi, could I have some advice? No pressure if you don't have the time or energy though. <3

I've been best friends with this girl since fifth grade but this past year it's been like I don't even exist to her. When we're hanging out just the two of us, she either cancels last minute or actually talks to me, but the minute someone else shows up then she completely ignores me. One time she was having lunch in the same group as me and I made a funny face at her because of an inside joke we have and she made eye contact then proceeded to ignore me.

The one time we've actually talked in the past four months is when she texted me and asked me to send her the study guide I made for history. I texted her a while ago to see how her summer's going and she never responded.

She's been kind of horrible to me but I want to patch things up with her even though I have no idea how. Any advice?

It honestly sounds like this girl hasn't been your friend for quite a while. You could try confronting her about why that is if you think that would be worth it, but I don't see how you can consider a person who has been ditching and ignoring you for a whole year your friend. I think you might be letting your good memories with this person fog up the clear disrespect in the present - and if I was you I'd seriously consider whether she's actually worthy of your friendship before running out to try and fix it.
