Onlyfans tips/advice (the following are tips and advice of how I like to do things or what works for me personally. There is no right or wrong way to run YOUR own page, or no price limit you have to set on your own body.)

Some steps to get started: (scroll down to #4 if you’ve already started)

#1: Think of a fake name. Almost like a stripper name. It can be cutesy like a stripper name or it can sound like a legit name. Whatever you want. I chose Avery Rose because I felt like Avery was kinda similar to my actual name Ashley, but choose whatever you like. This is to protect your identity, unless you don’t care about that, then skip to step 2 😂.

#2. Start the sign up process. To sign up on onlyfans you have to create your account and send a photo of your ID, and one of you holding your ID. Then you enter bank info to get paid. It takes about 24 hours for you account to get approved, so go ahead and get that out of the way while you start setting everything else up.

#3: Decide if you want to have your page be free or have a subscription price. This is entirely up to you, but personally I think starting out you should definitely start out with the free page. It’s so much easier to promote when you don’t have a fan base yet. It’s easier for other girls to follow you and you guys can follow each other and do L4L which is like for like. You both go and like all each other’s posts to boost your like count at the top of your page. It’s hard for someone to decide to pay a subscription price when they aren’t sure if they will like your content. Especially when I see girls that are brand new trying to charge $20 a month when no one knows who you are yet. You can get there one day, but you gotta start building your social media credibility. When your page is free you can set Pay Per View prices on your posts. Post tease photos for free, and any photos or videos showing the good stuff, there is a price they have to pay to unlock and see it. Some girls post free titty pics or other free nude pics as well and just charge for videos. I personally will post butt cheek pics all day, or photos in my bra, or lingerie, and even bras that you can see my nipples through, but I don’t post full raw nude photos of my boobs for free. There’s no wrong or right way, it all works, I just want them to be curious enough to want to pay to see. Pricing is also entirely up to you. I keep my prices low and affordable so that I get more buyers. For a simple nude photo I usually just charge $3. If it’s a set of like 6 photos or more I’ll make it $4. If I make a video clip doing something x-rated, I still only make it $3 if it’s only under a minute. If I’m gonna make a video that’s over a minute i just base it off of how good I think it is. 2 minute video of me just lifting my shirt, playing with my boobs, and then showing off my lady parts or rubbing myself a little, I might just make that $3 or $4 but if it’s 2-3 minutes of me shooting a closeup of me masturbating with a dildo I will make it $5. I personally range my content $3-$5 unless it’s something super hot/unique.

Like my threesome video I made $10, and then my second threesome video my boyfriend was drunk and was not the best camera man that night. It was hot content but he wasn’t always focusing the camera on the right places, so I made that one $8. A lot of girls end up having 2 accounts. A free page and a paid page. For the longest time I thought it would be annoying to log back and forth between two accounts but it’s not bad. For a while I only had my free account but I offered a VIP option where they tipped me $15 a month and I would message them all my previous content. Then for the month anything I posted price locked on my page, I would message them unlocked. They also got unlimited chatting/dirty talk, priority with responding to their messages. I just added anyone who signed up to a list I created on OF, so all my new posts I just had to click on the list to send to all of them. I kept track of usernames and start dates in my phone notepad to let them know when their month was up. This was working great for me, got me a lot of extra money, and I think it’s beneficial to do that at first and keep things simple and on one page. But when I started getting more popular, and my content vault kept growing, I would have to sit there and manually send like 200 videos to each new VIP over and over. I finally made a paid page and it works great cuz I get money from renewed monthly subscriptions, and in between those renewals, money still comes in from people unlocking PPV posts on my free page.

#4: Apps you should download: you do not need to download all these apps at first if it’s overwhelming. I do recommend at least downloading Twitter at first, and you can move on to the other later, but these are the apps I use as tools.

Breakdown of apps: there’s a lot of info to talk about but I tried to make it easier to read quickly if you don’t want to read all of it.

Twitter:

The gist: For me twitter is my #1 tool. I have the most followers on there. This is where you want to build your online personality first to get you started and get people to like you and want to subscribe. They allow adult content, so you’re not gonna get reported or banned for posting sexual stuff. There’s tons of other girls on there you can learn from, and most of them are supportive and nice. Just remember it’s a slow climb at first getting followers, be patient. It took me a month to reach about 900 followers. Extra details: I post once a day on Twitter. I’m always taking tease pics in bulk. In the morning i will post a tease pic (I post one pic if it was taken horizontal mode, and I will post two if it was taken in portrait mode because just posting one vertical will cut out some of the pic l unless they tap on it). Sometimes I pair it with a sexy clever caption, or if i dont have one I will just put Happy Masturbation Monday, Titty Tuesday, Hump Day or Wet Wednesday, Thirsty Thursday, Frisky Friday, Sexy Saturday, or Sinful Sunday. You will gain loyal followers over time. Some will subscribe to your onlyfans, and others will just be freeloader lurkers on your twitter forever. Always commenting how amazing you are, but always have an excuse why they won’t buy. These lurkers are not completely useless, believe it or not. Since they develop online crushes on you, they like to help you out by retweeting your posts, giving you shot outs, etc. I personally on occasion will post that every guy who retweets my pinned post get a freebie nude in their DMs. They all know I will do it cuz I’ve always followed through and I get a shit ton of free promoting, and in return I send a simple nude pic to them. We help each-other out. The other nice thing about twitter is there are constant “sex worker” threads on your twitter feed where you can post your tease pic and link for other buyers to see. Some girls also post pinned for pinned tweets, this can help your pinned tweet venture out and reach more buyers!

Tiktok:

I finally joined the TikTok game 6 months into being on OF, and let me tell you hthis is probably the best way to promote! Every time I post a video that does good I see a huge increase in subscribers! You can not post your onlyfans link in the bio. At first just put your twitter or IG in bio. Not a link, just like this: Instagram: xsweetaveryrosex or Twitter: xxavarosex. If a guy thinks you’re cute he will go check it out and find your link on your IG or Twitter. Once you get to a certain amount of followers (or views I forget which one) you can switch your account to a TikTok Pro account (it doesn’t cost) and then you are able to add a link. This is where you can add a LinkTree link (you still can’t add an OF link) . Linktree is a website where you can make a link that takes you to a page that has all your links. It is free to use and very useful to have in all your bios. You can list your social media’s and OF accounts. The tricky thing about TikTok is making videos that show off that you are cute/hot/sexy/sexual while keeping it PG-13. I get flagged so much for things I think aren’t bad, but they are strict. Try to find other OF girls on there, follow them and like their posts, then you will get more OF type videos on your for you page to scroll through for ideas. The gist: Reddit is a great place to promote as well. There are so many people who use it and so many NSFW groups to post in to promote your page. If you plan on selling feet content, a lot of foot worshippers are on Reddit as well. Extra details: It’s really confusing at first if you’ve never used it, and I see people asking how to use it online all the time and I never see anyone ever answer lol. This is what I’ve learned on my own from Reddit, I’ll try to explain it simply. Basically Reddit has a bunch of groups on it called sub-reddits. Think of it like a bunch of Facebook groups, once you join you scroll the group and see people’s posts, “upvote” posts you like, comment on posts, or create your own post. Once you make an account you have to log on to your account on your web browser instead of the app to go into the settings and change them to where NSFW content is not hidden or censored. Or else NSFW groups won’t even pop up for you, and photos will be blurred. Next type in random things at the top that describe you or your content. Like for example: thick, booty, brunette, blue eyes, feet, toes, blow job girls, femdom, pierced nipples, whatever. Once you’ve joined a bunch of sub Reddit’s (NSFW preferably), you need to build some “karma” points. Some subreddit groups will let you post right away, some you need more of these karma points, and some require an “account age” where your account has to be like 3-4 days old. How you get karma points is basically just being active and participating on the app. Slowly build your account here and there for 2-3 days by upvoting posts, commenting on a post here and there. You can even try to join an advice subreddit and comment giving people random advice to earn points. It won’t let you go and comment on hella things all at once for whatever reason. So literally for the first few days comment or upvote 1-2 posts every couple hours or so. You can try to start trying to post too. Go to each subreddit you joined and try to post a photo. It will tell you if you’re not allowed to post there yet or not, if you can’t just try another group. The only thing is actual full on promoting your OF or posting your link is a pain in the ass. There are certain groups that are made for OF promos, you have to have karma, a certain account age, and you have become a verified member of the group and all that. If you want to do that you can, but it’s a pain in the ass I don’t deal with and I still get subscribers. I could be in the dark and maybe that is the ultimate way to go, as I said before, these tips are based on how I do things, does not mean it’s the right or best way. Always try to experiment and try things on your own to find what else can work for you. Anyway getting back to how to use Reddit....Every group has their own rules. When you go to post a photo, after selecting it from your camera roll you will see the word “RULES” pop up at the top right. Click on this to see what you’re allowed to do in there. Most subreddits don’t allow promoting or advertising of OF or anything like that. Some say you can, but you have to put your link in the comments and not the post itself. I don’t even bother going through every groups rules. I just post photos. Simple as that. Have your link in your profile bio. Post sexy photos, whether they are tease or full on nude or rated X. Guys who like what you post will follow your Reddit account or try to DM you. Engaging in some short back and forth convo with them to get them to subscribe is helpful if you have time, but sometimes I’m so busy promoting elsewhere I ignore DMs and these guys just find your link on their own. Most of the guys on this group know most of the girls posting on Reddit aren’t just posting their goods for shits and giggles. They know we’re all advertising something, so when they like what they see they will go to your profile and seek out your link. Some even want to just privately cash app you for you to send content to them on another app instead of going through OF.

Instagram:

The gist: Instagram is another way to promote. Instagram does not allow adult or sexual content. So you have to post just regular cute selfies, and try to post some sexy tease photos that are not too revealing or too sexual. Like you can have a pic in a thong showing butt cheeks, but they might report you for posting a pic fully clothed where you are squeezing your boobs because it’s sexually suggestive...cuz butt cheeks apparently aren’t lol. Apparently you’re not supposed to use the hashtag #onlyfans, but I see some people use #fansonly. You can use a bunch of other random hashtags as well. Extra details: I personally am not a fan of promoting on IG because in my experience most of the guys on there are not interested in subscribing. They just want to follow you and see your IG posts and try to blow up your DMs and attempt to video call you 10 times in a row at 3 AM. I had to turn off notifications 😂. I actually have some guy running my IG for me. He contacted me on twitter and likes what I post and said he does social media advertising for a living and wanted to help me get followers. So I gave him my password cuz it’s not like it’s my real IG. He has a free year trial to my OF in return. I just send him selfies when I can for him to post on there. He has gotten me 2,000 followers on there so far but still most of my subscribers come from other apps. Still never hurts to try and make one, maybe you will have better luck or discover the secret lol.

Snapchat:

The gist: Snapchat is good for either promoting or for earning even more money. Lots of girls do OF and Snapchat premium. Basically for premium Snapchat you post tease stuff on your story, then post x-rated content on your private story. You decide your subscription price and once a buyer sends you their payment via cash app or whatever, then you add them to be able to view your private story. Or you can just use it to promote. You can do this by asking guys to add you on Snapchat on other apps, especially those that don’t allow you to send OF links. Once they add you and see your sexy story full of tease clips and your link, hopefully they will want to subscribe to see more. Extra details: I have not tried to attempt a premium snap yet, cuz posting multiple Snapchat’s all day everyday sounds too exhausting, but if you have the time or feel up to it, it’s a good way to make money. A lot of girls say they make way more than they make on OF, especially since you don’t have that 20% being taken. I was using it to promote but I’m on so many apps it gets overwhelming bouncing around to respond to people on all these different apps and trying to take pics to post on twitter or OF, then taking separate tease pics or photos for snap too, while always logging in and out back and forth between my fake snap and my real personal one. So I gave up on snap for now, but I do believe it is worth it if the effort is put into using it.

Kik:

The gist: kik is a good app to have because it’s like being able to text someone, but without them having your phone number. This isn’t crucial to have, just something I find handy. Extra details: Sometimes you have all these DM inboxes on all these apps that are overwhelmingly fluffed with messages. Let’s say you start a convo with someone who is interested in separately buying content from you, or wants to set up a video chat if you offer them, wants to discuss buying your panties, or anything like that. You may reply to them that you’re willing to sell them nudes, then forget and their DM gets lost in the sea of other DMs. So sometimes at that point you can have them message you on kik so you get a notification to your phone and respond quicker. I don’t give my kik to too many people either or else it’s another packed inbox. I literally have 5 people who message me there. The guy who runs my Instagram, the owner of a twitter that posts videos of girls flashing in public or at work cuz I often send him submissions for him to post of me to gain followers, and the last 3 are guys who don’t prefer to use onlyfans and they hit me up from time to time to request custom photos or videos and pay me via cash app.

Cash app:

This one doesn’t really need a explanation. Having cash app or Venmo is good to be able to accept payments outside of OF. I primarily use cash app cuz I made a new account with my fake name. My venmo has my real name and won’t let me make a separate account with the same phone number. Apparently Venmo allows people to send money using credit though, so there’s been a couple times I’ve agreed to let them Venmo me as long as they kept my real name to themselves.

Facetune:

This app is free. You can use any photo editing app you want, this is just the one I use. I dont edit the crap out of my photos (they usually already have a filter anyway 😝) but there’s times I take a pic and realize I had a tiny piece of toilet paper or something on my lady parts, or a small pimple on my butt cheek, and I use the patch editor to get rid of it. 😂 sorry for the TMI but it might be you one day!

Vixer:

Another total optional app, just something I literally depend on to make content. If you ever have different videos you want to combine to make one video...I like to use this app. It is like $3 a month or something, there might be a free one out there that does it, but I haven’t found one yet. I like to use the Naomi filter on Snapchat sometimes to make my skin look amazing and Snapchat doesn’t let you record videos longer than 1 minute for whatever reason, so sometimes I have to record 4 videos back to back and combine them to make one 😂.

#5: Start building your social media’s, online personality, and onlyfans page. Most of the details with this I mentioned above under the app details. But just start posting photos photos on your IG if you have one. Start posting photos & tweeting on your twitter. Start uploading photos and/or videos to your onlyfans. Just try to give all your profiles a head start so people don’t go to them and it’s blank or only has one post. I personally say have at least 3-5 posts already up on your onlyfans page before you even advertise the link on twitter.

#6: Start promoting...ALOT! & start gaining social media followers. Promote wherever you can. It’s okay to start one on app and move your up to promoting on multiple. Whatever you want to do. Join a couple onlyfans groups on Facebook if you have one. They are private groups so your friends on FB can’t see you’re a member. It is helpful to read/see tips and advice and also ask questions if you need to. Make your first focus be gaining social media followers, preferably twitter in my opinion. Focus on getting followers there and eventually the more people you gain on there, some of those followers will subscribe to your OF. Follow other sex workers on twitter. Just type onlyfans, SW thread, sex workers or something like that in the search bar, it will use those keywords to show other posts on twitter. You will see other girls posting, follow those girls, go to the comments and see other girls, just follow a big handful. Now you get to see what sex workers on twitter usually post to get an idea of what you can post. You can choose your favorite sexy photo or tweet and make it your “pinned post” and all the time you will see other girls on twitter offering RT4RT (retweet for retweet), and if girls with a lot of followers retweet your pinned back, that can be helpful to you. After you’ve followed some girls and made some posts, find girls with a similar body type as you, or girls who have similar content/style, etc. Follow guys who like their posts or follow them. Keep bouncing around to different girls twitters and going through the guys who like their stuff. Just spam follow the shit out of dudes. Twitter will eventually cut you off and tell you you’ve reached your limit, then you have to wait like 2 hours before you can follow anyone else. So usually I will do it in small spurts throughout the day. Follow like 40 people then wait a few hours and go back and follow more. Most of these guys follow back, that’s how I got my follower count rolling. Be interactive with your followers, post regularly. And once you start getting past like 500, try to ask the guys who follow you to retweet your post or pinned post. I offer a free nude as incentive, but you don’t have to do that. The more follower you have that are retweeting your stuff the more your posts are gonna spread around and reach more people. You just have to keep at it. It is honestly exhausting and draining some days. It’s hard work. It’s being on your phone a lot, scrolling through different apps, posting, responding to DMs, following people, thinking of new places you can fish for subscribers. Keep doing research of new ideas of how to promote. Just remember it’s a slow climb at first. I see so many get discouraged that it’s been a month and they don’t have many subscribers, or the ones they do don’t want to buy. At first there can be days that go by where you have no luck on getting subscribers or any purchases on your post even though you’ve spent hours everyday promoting. You just have to keep going at it every day and if you don’t give up and keep putting in the effort, it will pick up, I promise. Give it about a month or so before you start seeing your numbers rise and money in your account. & You’re gonna get A LOT of freeloader dudes that only subscribe to your free page to see your free teasers and that’s it. A LOT of guys who will try to message you keep talking to you for days and want you to dirty talk with them and engage with them when they haven’t spent a single cent, they are just taking up your time and energy. Guys will try to ask for free stuff, they will throw fits. I have 1.4K subscribers on my free page and maybe only 50 to 100 of them have ever spent any money. That is the extreme level of lurkers you will encounter, it’s not you, or that you aren’t good enough or worth paying to see. Guys just want to see what they can get out of you for free.

Content ideas:

It can be hard to try and keep up on always making new content . There’s times I have so many ideas I’m able to write out a list that gives me plans for next 5 videos, and sometimes I’m just stumped. It helps to follow other creators, not to copy their ideas, but just to see what other girls post. The different types of pages that are out there, and sometimes someone else’s photo or video might inspire your own unique idea. Or sometimes it’s okay to do somethings similiar to another post, cuz there are some things that are just common that every girl does, and you didn’t even think of it before. Such as school girl outfit, wet T-shirt, etc. Write down ideas if they pop up in your head so you don’t forget. You don’t have to try and be crazy unique for every single post. Your fans will compliment and speak up when they love something, and it’s okay to repeat content doing the same things again sometimes when it’s what your fans love and want. And then once in a while throw in something different. Sometimes I invest the money I make on OF back into making content, such as using earned money to buy a few cheap lingerie outfits off SHEIN. Or I bought a $26 ring light tripod stand off amazon that was probably the best purchase I’ve ever made for my OF. You can make polls and ask your fans what they want to see. Some people post multiple times a day, some post once a day, some only a few times a week. In my opinion at least once a day is the way to go. I like to post one video a day and sometimes a second free post on my free page of a tease pic. This way I spread out my content. Some days if I have time I will take multiple photos and videos and store them so I can have a break some days. It’s also a good idea to use the week before you period to stock up on a bunch of photos and videos to post during shark week. If you forget though you can still do stuff like titty content, or make a short video right out of the shower really quick before putting in your tampon. It is your page to decide whatever it is you want to post. I see some girls who only post photos, some post photos and short clips, others long videos. I post a mix of stuff. I mostly do videos that range from 1-3 mins, but occasionally I do a self photo shoot with my tripod and either spread those pics out over the week, or post a set all at once. I’ll do short little clips to my paid page cuz I don’t want to charge PPV $3 for a 20 second video on my free, and then the paid subscribers feel like they get something extra the other subscribers don’t get to see. If you’re ever stumped for content it’s okay to post just normal standard nudes for a few days until something comes to you. Most of your fans will end up sticking around long term and have a connection with you, and they are patient and understanding. And we’re girls who overthink if we’re posting good enough stuff, but men are happy with any nudes you post 😝.

Here are a few random ideas though that I will share:

-Strip tease, or video of you giving someone a lap dance with music.

-Suction cup dildos seem to be very popular on OF because well, they’re hot af.

-Themed photo shoots with skimpy outfits, lingeries or costumes. Such as Pokémon, rave girl, school girl, cosplay, etc.

-Can never go wrong with masturbation videos. Experiment with different positions, angles, or in different areas of your house like the bed, the couch in the living room, shower, bathtub, etc.

Additional tips/advised based on my personal opinion:

-You don’t have to show your face, but I do think it helps. If you are going to show your face, from time to time post just normal pretty face selfies on your social media accounts to show you’re more than just some tits and ass...you’re also a real girl with nice eyes or pretty hair, etc. If you don’t want to show your face, just compensate more with your personality and making fun unique content or creative masks/disguises.

-Have an Internet personality that is fake and real. In real life, I am not really a slutty girl. Not because I judge anyone who is, I am just kinda shy & socially awkward, especially when it comes to flirting lol. But I have this alter ego slutty online personality, where I tweet about being horny, talk dirty, act like I am some super sexual goddess with 100% confidence in myself even though I am not cocky at all in real life. I fake a “I know you want me, I know I’m cute” attitude. I have the exaggerated cocky, slutty, dirty persona, but then I act myself too to show I am a real person. That I can be sexy but I am also nice, friendly, fun, goofy, funny. I post a lot of sexy stuff and then here and there I’ll ask my follower about their weekend. Post a video clip of me laughing playing Pictionary, share a meme, tweet about a random topic that gets people to comment and interact with me such as a would you rather question. I feel like this is one of the best things that helps you get followers. You actually connect with people, they love that you are real, and have personality. It makes you stand out amongst the thousands of other sex workers on twitter.

-Be nice and friendly, but don’t let guys take advantage. These guys are lonely and insecure sometimes. Be kind, give them compliments, show interest in chatting with them and asking them about their day. Make them feel good and be a friend they can talk to, as well as all the sexy talk to turn them on. If someone is a monthly subscriber or at least has purchased a few things on my free page, I will chat with them unlimitedly. I have a busy life so I don’t respond right away, but whatever they send I always send something back to keep conversation going and don’t ignore them. For those who have not spent any money, I am still super nice and engage in friendly or flirty conversation. A lot of the times me taking time to chat and have a good conversation with them when they haven’t even spent anything makes them realize they think I’m a cool person they like talking to and it will make them want to buy or subscribe. But if I’ve been whole heartedly chatting with them for a week straight and they still don’t buy anything and just want to keep having all my time or attention, or want to try and sext with me, I eventually just start taking longer to reply to them, or find a good place in the convo to just not reply. If they send something else I will open and read and not respond. Finally when they ask why I’m not responding I will just say “sorry hun, I usually do most of my chatting with my VIP subscribers on my paid page because they get priority response times. I’ve been trying to keep up with our conversation as best as I can but I have to give priority to those who have made purchases. I hope you understand, if you want to subscribe to my paid page or purchase a few of my posts then I can make more time for us to chat?” If they get mad then oh well, I tried my best to be nice, but these guys have to know I can’t just be giving up all my time and attention for free.

I hope this helps. I feel like it is so long, but there is just a lot of information when it comes to complexity of starting and running an onlyfans and all the other profiles you have to run along with it. I always see people ask on the OF group for help or advice and people comment little tips here and there but in reality it’s way too much to try to answer in a single fb comment.
