Honestly I do see Sonic liking seasonal based snacks and just general culture studies just bc he likes to learn (although I have to admit, my very favorite domestic Sonic hc is that he buys international cook books to cook a lotta different foods and experiment with foods)

Yes, I think it makes perfect sense for Sonic to be fascinated with cooking since he was fed the same tasteless food during his childhood and adolescence. Also it's a fact that Sonic has been passionate and disciplined about the things he wants since he was a child, so if he loves something he will put his whole soul into it.

Hi, thanks for your ask! Well, according to an OPM audiobook, Sonic was instructed in the disguise for work and spy purposes, but I also think it’s something he enjoys and has fun doing -I mean, he enjoys being a ninja in general- putting on makeup, dressing up and acting unrecognizable is something he masters to perfection.

We know that he has certain culinary skills but we don't know how good he is, I'm convinced that thanks to his ingenuity he has a lot of experience and practices often or at least when he has the opportunity.

This doesn't count as a skill but I like to think he likes to attend festivals, he finds interesting the traditions and culture that surrounds him. Let's not forget that he was isolated from the outside world for years, but he seems completely open to new experiences (:
