THIS PANEL IS SO HAUNTING BC ON THIS PAGE GOJO IS MONOLOGUING ABOUT HIS DREAM WHICH IS TO RESET JUJUTSU SOCIETY (jujutsu kaisen means "the inevitable war among curse practitioners") AND HE SAYS IT WOULD BE EASY TO KILL EVERY IMBICILE AT THE TOP OF JUJUTSU SOCIETY but that wouldn't resolve anything because more would take their place. but on this panel he says basically that change will only happen in this method of "raising strong allies from childhood"
I'm about to cry? I'm... so deeply moved and horrified and touched bc in the original panels and jp you can just FEEL the preparations for war and the title so much more imminently than watching the anime or jjk's shitstain embarrassment of a translation.
the inevitable is a "emotive" translation of the 廻 kanji in 呪術廻戦 which is a variant of 回 which has the meaning of a slow revolution like an orbit, the kind of cyclic incidence of "once very thousand years" just like sukuna's manifestation right now in the time of jjk
but BECAUSE it is a 1000-year cycle it is "inevitable"

DO YOU KNOW ME (DYKM) is a game where inviolet travels through time looking for the one iterative timeline in existence where they have a chance at being happy with sacrosanct.
inspired by 999's branching timeline mechanics, every choice sets you on a different timeline, though there are convergence points, and there's also alternating POV moments of inviolet and sacrosanct at different points in time.
also a game about fucking god.
the game mechanics for this one offer the illusion of choice and player agency when in reality if you ever enter a choice that "may" lead to a BAD ENDING! inviolet will automatically / forcibly rewind you back to the branching loop point and remove that BAD ENDING choice; inviolet prevents you from ever finishing out / rounding out / fulfilling a BAD END.
but because of inviolet's omniscience, the ability to see "all endings," as the time traveler / time-space witch, inviolet has a moment where they forfeit before a bad ending can even begin. where they refuse to see sacrosanct reject them, so they simply erase this iteration of him out of existence instead of risk the extreme hurt pain sorrow annihilation of being rejected by their most beloved. even though he might need to hurt them, and be hurt, before he can process and accept what they've done to him.
THE TITLE, do you know me as i am or as i was, refers to "do you know me (as i am now)? do you know me for who i am now? do you know me in THIS iteration, THIS life, THIS timeline, or are you chasing a vision of a past self that no longer exists (who i was) in another life?"
"do you know me for who i am now or do you only know me for who you believed i was?"
"do you know me for who i am now (in the present) or do you only know me as i was (in a past that no longer exists)?"
and that's the question sacrosanct asks inviolet, essentially.
that's the essence of their predicament.

THE MISS/S\TRESS OF LIES IS TAKING PRAYERS (a sushifuku game)
working on a sequel to the the miss/tress of lies will see you now called the miss/tress of lies is taking prayers, which is a hybrid of the first miss/tress game and the new lord of nothing is taking prayers, a junpei/yuuji fangame.
TMOLWSYN is:
another fushisuku one about megumi and sukuna where their backstory is that they meet in a BDSM club (trans megumi used to domme professionally), and sukuna is kind of a sack of shit, but so it goes.
it's also a game about game theory (specifically regarding go and chess) and about how a go stone is just a ronck and can represent anything, there are no "statuses" among pieces, even sacrifices, in go, only "alive or dead stones," while in chess, every piece has a specific purpose and rank, but the commonality between both games is that you must "rotate the board" in order to win.
but despite it being about that, there's no actual sex scene in TMOLWSYN, it's mostly a lot about the discussion of suicide, murder, and game theory. but it doesn't go as deep as i'd like it to into any of those things, it's like an amuse bouche, but i'm choosing to create a sequel that'll go maybe in kimono-style depth of the concepts introduced in TMOLWSYN.
i want THE MISS/TRESS OF LIES IS TAKING PRAYERS (TMOLISTP) to be an inviolet/sacrosanct style navigation of OMNISICENCE vs. OMNIPOTENCE and megumi trying to reach a future where sukuna doesn't kill himself (which will inevitably down all roads lead her to such annihilation and extremity of despair that she follows him), so in an oregon-trail like YOU DIED / the new lord of nothing style of YOU DIED w/ false inputs, i want TMOLISTP to be a labyrinthine exploration of BDSM as seizing power over sex+violence, the traumatic prisoner's dilemma of whether it is possible to trust someone not to betray you, or if you inevitably have to betray first, and the philosophy of go as divination.
