a/n: @svtdiary HI BUNNY ITS ME IM UR SECRET SANTA!!!!!! ummm tbh the second i got u i knew exactly what i was gonna write <3 but i tried to include a couple things from our messages hehe. merry merry christmas my dear !!!!
“Will you cut it out?” You ask, taking a brief break from your icing to slap Mingyu’s fingers away from the undecorated cookies. “You’re gonna eat them all before they’re decorated.”
Mingyu whines and you roll your eyes, but don’t bother trying to hide your grin. “They’re so good,” he says. You can hear the pout in his voice (but it might just be the last bits of an unfortunate sugar cookie man). “You should ask your mom to send me that recipe.”
“You should start decorating with me,” you respond, looking up from your perfect snowflake (seriously, this might be the most beautiful cookie you’ve ever decorated, with all of its winter whites and blues) to laugh at Mingyu’s offending grimace from the other side of the island. “This was your idea anyways!”
“Yeah, but I didn’t expect you to be a party pooper,” he says, coming around the counter to be on your side. “Just wanna eat the cookies that I helped make, but noo.”
His arms wrap around you and it stutters the almost-perfectly straight line you were piping. “You bother me, you know,” you tell him. You hear him hum against the nape of your neck and press a tiny kiss there.
“You bother me, too,” he responds. You set your icing bag down and spin on your stool so you’re facing him. He’s still got flour all over him from your little battle earlier, and you run your hands on his sweater to get rid of what you can, over his apron (that he insisted on wearing, saying “kiss the cook”), run through his hair to get the specks of white away. He sighs and closes his eyes, leaning into your touch, and you can’t help but feel like the world slows down for just a moment.
The apartment smells like caramel and sugar, like frosting and cinnamon. Sweet, just like Mingyu. Warm, just like Mingyu. You think the shine of all the city lights and stars combined could never match the glow he emits. How do you tell him? How do you let him know?
Mingyu opens his eyes and you squint at him, briefly. “One more,” you tell him. His eyes light up. “You get one more cookie. That’s it. And then you’re helping me with this. We still have a gingerbread house to make, and I’m not losing to Minghao again.”
It’s little. You could spend all night talking about the stars in the sky, the stars on Christmas trees, how they’ll never match him. You could spend your whole life thinking of him in sweaters and snow, nose and cheeks red from the cold. You could spend a thousand years dreaming of sparkles and caramel and warm brown eyes and matching gold rings.
But even with just telling him one more… maybe you’re naive. He kisses you tender and splits the cookie with you. You think he might know.

bruh i am the biggest Daughter fan ever. it's so weird because they're not really underrated but at the same time they are?? I feel like people only know their most popular tracks and that's it. but I also loveeeee Paramore and Hayley Williams' stuff too <3
Okay okay now I have to ask important questions. What's your favorite color on Mingyu? What is your go-to Christmas cookie shape (snowflake? snowman? gingerbread people?) and flavor (sugar cookies, gingerbread, etc)?? and probably most important: do u like snow. Like when it snows are you happy about it.

my favorite color on mingyu hmm… hair wise i love ginger gyu! idk what color i like outfit wise on him he looks good in everything i fear 💔 my go to Christmas cookie shapes are usually Christmas trees! And i loveee sugar cookies <3
Snow where im from is horrible !!!! i love it when it first falls but after months of just snow and ice and being scared to drive on the road it just takes away the awe factor </3 tomorrow we’re expected to get 18 inches of snow its horrible 😭😭😭

admittedly i am not Super into kpop 😗 butttt lately I've been enjoying lesserafim and a newer group called fifty fifty!!! I'm also a moomoo at heart <3 i luv mamamoo. I think Svt is the only boy group that I really know more than just casually keeping up with LOL it's like i stan them and then a bunch of ggs 😭
omg wait actually i love 2pm HOW COULD I FORGET. my emotional support 2nd gen group. but I really think that's all the boy groups after them HAHAH.

omg welllll I think i got into svt in 2020? i don't know the exact date 😭 but I remember seeing mingyu in the l&r mv and being like 😳 HAHA but i'm currently vernhao biased!! But tbh I feel like i could be ot13 </3 these men. What abt you!! i know you like mingyu (hehe) but do you have any other biases? How long have you been into svt? do you like any other groups? :3

I LOVE MINGYU 💔 my bias list from then on is ot13 😭😭😭 i love those boys sm </3 ive been into seventeen since 2018! it was a cool time to be a carat n seeing them grow 🥺 as for other groups i like red velvet, le sserafim, fromis_9 n sooo many more!!! do you have any groups that you like other than seventeen?

CARAT WRITERS CLUB’S 2022 SECRET SANTA EVENT
Enjoy the holidays with CWC by participating in our Secret Santa event! During this event, you will be exchanging messages and possibly drabbles with another CWC member! You must have anon on in order to participate in the event. The messaging period will begin on December 5th and blogs must reveal themselves between December 25th-31st!

hello everyone! I hope you've all been doing well ♡
I didn't expect to take a forced hiatus unexpectedly but since I've been shadow banned for a little over a month with little to no help from tumblr I've decided to move blogs and start new :')
it's been a lovely experience figuring out my writing style and experimenting smau styles on this blog, reading all the inboxes you send me, and making so many friends! however, I have decided to start new at @svtdiary and give you all content that better reflects my current writing!
so to get into the heavier things, all social media aus that are ongoing or put on pause will be discontinued. I'm a tad unhappy with actually a lot of my work and would like to put these works in a past! consider it a rebrandment if you will :) of course though, you can always message me over at svtdiary about the works on this blog, I'll happily respond!
