“God creates the vine and teaches it to draw up water by its roots and, with the aid of the sun, to turn that water into a juice which will ferment and take on certain qualities. Thus every year, from Noah’s time till ours, God turns water into wine.”
Miracles from God in the Dock by C.S. Lewis

“I’ve spent so many years, stuck in my head. Couldn’t see past myself. And all the time You were right here in front of me. A part of me. Inside of me. And patiently You spoke to me and You set me free. And so naturally I’m living for more now. This is just the beginning of a new way of living” - Steffany Gretzinger (Sails)

God Makes the Ordinary Extraordinary
God is working, even in the most ordinary parts of our lives. If we would only look past the mundanity of life and see His extraordinary work all around us. I recently saw a Tik Tok video talking about how God will tell us to do something, then we often begin to doubt. After that, we say we don't have the resources or capacity. However, He then asks us "What do you have?" Using the ordinary things in our lives to do extraordinary things!
Biblical Reference mention in the Tik Tok video
Moses and the staff
Exodus Chapters 3 - 4
Widow and her sons
2 Kings Chapter 4:1-7
Jesus feeds the 5000
Mark 6:30-44

I have been reading the book Love Does by Bob Goff. It has lessons drawn from Bob’s life that will inspire you to embrace every moment and live life to the fullest. It has been good for me because I tend to live life fast. I’m often running from one task to the next, and then using social media and television to numb out. It’s been refreshing to embrace slow living. Taking my time and just letting life flow. Sometimes the mundane parts of life are the best parts of life. We can reflect, think, and just exist in these moments. Purpose and goals are so important in life, but if that’s all you live for you will burn out. Life’s so much more than being on your grind. Take some time to just be ordinary and you’ll find that life is truly extraordinary.

God has given us commands, not because He is a controlling God, but because He is a loving God. Those who remember His commands and follow them remain shielded, for God is wise in what He tells us. His command not only protects and guides but in it is life and peace.
Verse: I will never forget Your commandments, for by them You have given me life.
Psalm 119:93

Love and Light
Over this past week I have been reading 1 John, since my friend and I are going to have a small bible study over it tomorrow. Reading 1 John was refreshing. Cleansing. The themes of God being Love and Light are repeated over and over. Love and Light were just what I needed in this season of my life.đź’ˇ

1 Thessalonians 5:17 says “Never stop praying.” Simple yet profound.
Prayer is like breathing. It’s something you should constantly do.

We are not our intrusive thoughts. I know they can be debilitating, but God has been my refuge through it all. Please know that you are not alone if you struggle with intrusive thoughts. I struggle every day. Some days are worse than others, but I’m proof you can keep going. Life can truly be beautiful! Don’t let intrusive thoughts convince you otherwise.
