Hey, you are not an embarrassment for not knowing how to do certain household chores/basic self-care. They do not come naturally to us. A lot of it takes practice! Maybe you had a neglectful guardian. Maybe you had one that was very coddling and never thought to teach you. Maybe you haven't lived in a place where these things were available to you or needed. Doesn't matter. It's okay to not know and far more common than you might realise.
That said, this website provides very simple instructions on how to do everyday tasks such as making your bed, using a washing machine, cooking different foods, washing dishes, taking a shower, etc. All you have to do is use the search bar to find the task you're struggling with, and it'll come up with what you need + other related how-to's:)
If you're having trouble navigating it, let me provide you with some examples:
How to clean dishes by hand
How to make your bed (with visual demonstrations of each step!)
How to fold clothes (with visual demonstrations of each step!)
How to take a shower & dry yourself off (also provides ways to shave beards, armpits, legs and genitals)
How to shave legs, armpits, beards, pubic areas, etc. (a more in-depth guide)
How to mop the floor
How to sweep the floor
How to swallow pills
How to make small talk
How to make eye contact in different situations (or how to avoid it while still looking natural)
It's also perfectly okay if these don't help or aren't appealing to you. Unfortunately, nothing helps everyone.

Okay so I wanted to do something nice for my friends. There's too much negativity going on in fandom space for my liking this week.
I love my friends and I adore their writings and their OCs and their art and I wanted to show that because even if I struggle to remember everyone's lore your lil guys all live rent free in my brain on the best shelf I can conjure up. Sure it's cluttered but they're all comfortable because im holding them so gently.
So I made plushies. Little button eyed plushies in paint program. I'll have more of them before long as I have so many wonderful friends in this fandom <3

3. Bedbug ( @mire-draws-things/ @homemade-clones and other accounts XD) another beloved. I want him to bite me. Brain becomes a goop for him as well.

1. Nihlus ( @king-chaos-world/ @for-the-sake-of-color) The first one of these I started. Fought me every step of the way like the annoying little sith bastard ( affectionate) that he is. I love this funky lil guy and like seeing him get put into situations. ( I like the happy ones the most )
2. Esprit ( @aza-trash-can ) funky lil alien. Wanna annoy him with my own OCs more. This lil guy needs some chaos in his life. That may also just be payback for what he did to my hand, this lil guy owes me compensation now. XD
3. Duch/Duchii ( @dukeoftheblackstar ) Plo's wife, grandma to so many of my lil bebies. Lover of eggies and old AF alien jedi. I adore her <3

3. Zorra ( @techs-stitches ) Crosshair's sniper girlfriend. Need to pester you and know more. She's interesting and i wanna put her in a box and shake it. I blame @daimyosprincess because of wanting to put Crosshair in a box and shake it. I think putting them both in a box to shake sounds interesting, i'm sure nothing chaotic will happen at all XD

1. Gauze ( @baufraus-deactivated20240420 ) I've had him for barely a week and already I have a visceral need for him. The lore is still building and just aaaaaaaah
2. Patcher ( @sun-roach ) another beloved. Kissing every scar on his face if he'll let me. Need to fill his days with so much joy. I love him so much. Tucking him away near Shriek and Freckles so he can protect the vod'ike.
3. Yurand ( @wackylurker ) ahdjgakds this guy dhjadka I wanna put him in happy situations. The man needs them. Give this man an ice cream and a calm sunny day with his family on a picnic. Wrap him up in a blanket and give him the cuddles he needs.
In conclusion I love all of your ocs so much and I could probably keyboard smash about them for hours if I let go of this sliver of self control I have that reminds me I have my own lil guys to share with all of you.
No matter what goes on in this fandom and on this hellsite, I want you to always know that I'm here devouring every crumb you share about them and doing my best to tuck away their lore on my little shelf with my own lil guys. I hope these little doodles that I showed all of you before I even posted them here always bring a little smile to your face and make you feel better when something gets you down <3

Okay so. Guys, why do we have to keep saying this? Why do you make us keep tapping the sign?
If you don't like something, don't comment. Don't go out of your way to be mean/cruel.
Fanfic writers spend hours, days, weeks or even months working on something. We pour so much time and effort into a story because we have a story to tell. Be it a prompt from an event, a 3 am sleep deprived raving, some nonsense from dms with friends, or something we thought of in a day dream. And instead of keeping it to ourselves, we share it with everyone else. We love getting feedback. Be it a keyboard smash, a series of gifs ( this one is often me on fics!), just the words good job are so so satisfying. Even some constructive criticism is welcome. But don't say something mean and awful and try and mask it as constructive. It's not. You're just a dick.
Remember: Fanfic writers are people too. Be kind.

I am BEGGING professional sports to consolidate their games into one convienent place to watch.
I do not want to get Amazon Prime for Monday games and then TNT for a Wednesday. Ope now it's Friday so let's head over to ESPN. BUT NOW it's the 3rd Thursday of the month and it rained on the 8th of the month so this broadcast will be on CSPAN instead of Cartoon Network with a special rebroadcast on Disney Channel with the game being played by the cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
It's legit insanity and this is the exact reason I will continue to sail the seven seas. Get fucked.

I changed my mind I do have comments. as a chronic migraine sufferer I would just like to say let that boy rest. he wears the tinted visor for a reason. if they think there's any chance it's a head injury then keeping him out of the lineup was (and is) the right thing to do. either way, he's not lazy, he played all 82 games, and there was no way they could have seen this coming. migraines are complex and brains don't always make sense. going for a walk is different from playing an entire playoff hockey game. resting him for the last few games wouldn't have prevented a migraine so bad you're wondering if you might have been concussed. the fact that the team is taking migraines and head injuries seriously is a good thing, even if the leafs lose this series. ok that's all.
