Is it inappropriate to describe in graphic detail the way I saw the inside of my finger after I cut it open to my Irish bealtrial examiner or will they take pity on me and sneak in a few extra wee points that I will invariably lose on the sraith pictiúr

the internal struggle of growing up in the Donegal Gaeltacht is being fine at speaking it and being really proud of the blás and the accent and all but then I have to write in Irish and I don’t think half of the words we use even exist in written form. Like tf you mean it’s “chóir a bheith”, we pronounce it hi-a-va?? And don’t get me started on this -amar stuff, like “cheannamar” (is that right? Idk cos we just use muid, like cheannaigh muid).

the bathroom location in boiling point confuses me so much because characters seem to walk into the hall from completely different angles? And where does it connect to the kitchen? Like when Carly was pulling Emily away from the bathroom ep 2, Emily was somehow in front of Carly after they left the room even though Carly was dragging her? It’s probably really obvious and I just can’t wrap my head around it but it’s been bothering me

the real question is: do you have a rivalry with aldi and tesco?
I wouldn’t per se say a rivalry - tesco’s one big shop, but Aldi (and Lidl) are a handful of small shops, at least where I’m from.
Aldi is easier to get to and cheaper, but Tesco offers a lot more. Both are good, and I have no real preference

people who don’t shut up on trains
I realized I might be a bad person when I watched cáca milis and I imagined someone I didn’t like in pól’s place and myself in Catherine’s and thought, “fair enough”

Agree with all of these and I’d love to see some more Camille and Johnny, see Robyn and holly sort themselves out. Also need to know more about Emily - who tf is tony????
List of things we need in season 2:
Update on Emily and Andy
Carly and Andy's plan
The restuarant's financial situation - is it going to stay open or are they going to move to somewhere else?
Will Nick Get Fired (please)
Update on Jamie/more Jamie content (i am biased and you know it)
Robyn and Jamie being a duo
A conversation betweeen Bolton and Jamie (screeching how would that go)
Bolton and Camille being siblings (they r basically siblings fight me)
Bolton punching Nick lmao
did i mention jamie + his backstory?
CARLY AND HOLLY WHATS GOING ON W THEM TWO??
Again another update on emily + backstory!!
feel free to reblog and add more :)

well, it finally happened.
‘Fairytale of New York’ came on the radio and my mammy delighted in telling me, not only about Kirsty MacColl (‘and in front of her weans, as well’) AND Shane MacGowan (‘and didja hear about your man, Shane MacGowan?!’)
Not only do we get to hear about the speedboat accident ‘so near Christmas’, we also get to hear about the Pogues frontman.
I’m not complaining, but I just find it so funny that all that song will be known for is drunk singing at Christmas parties and the unfortunate demise of the singers.

Luckily this year the months where I only listened to concerningly depressing stuff wasn’t counted in my top artists!!
Happy Spotify Wrapped Day to all who celebrate
Got top 0.01% of The Cure Listeners, which figures. Most played song was bullshit though
Second to the Toy Show (in Ireland at least), I think this day starts the Christmas season

love the fact that in the film Jamie is working on lemon curd for the meringue when the whole scene with Emily happens and then in the series his dessert in ep 2 is the same lemon meringue!! Such nice continuity

ngl we need a uk supermarket tier list :]
oooh ok, lemme put on my thinking cap. Going from least good to best, here is my official UK supermarket tier list. International shops like Aldi and Lidl included because I have only been in very specific areas of the uk
10. Waitrose - Tory hotspot.
9. Marks and Spencer’s - you can get a bra and food but all the clothes are ugly and everything is expensive. Bonus points for Percy Pigs and those cookies.
8. Iceland - I’ve never really been in here, but I’m sure it’s fine. Sells smartwater, however you feel about that.
7. Sainsburys - Honestly I don’t really remember sainsburys apart from the fact that I got a really lovely purple coat with flowers on the quilting when I was very small (like primary one age).
6. Lidl - I attest that this is the worse of the two.
5. Aldi - aldi bakery 💞💞 also the middle aisle 💖💖
4. Tesco - brilliant stuff altogether, just not my favourite.
3. Morrisons - the deli counter tub pasta still has my heart even if the last time I had it I was small enough to fit in the wee seat in the front of a trolley 💔
2. The Co-op - the excitement of getting Moshi monster cards in the co op was unrivaled.
ASDA - my love my love I could go on. From shitty jokes to initials to range and MILK SLICES it’s the best supermarket in the UK by far.
this is less a tier list and more of a ranking but the point stands.

as mentioned in your bio, whats a milk slice 👀
A milk slice is the most glorious invention to have ever been created! It’s like a chocolate cake sandwich - sometimes the filling is white but I prefer when that’s chocolate as well. They used to only be available in the UK, so we’d have to drive into the North just to get them, but I’ve seen them in more local shops since.
