It’s Rider Reyes birthday! Happy birthday Rider!

Meanwhile Flow is trying to get everything on her list in time for the afternoon! Unfortunately 2 things she bought is delayed and won’t be delivered until few days after his birthday, but she got him flowers, new gear, his favorite cake, much more. She even has something planned for him later tonight ;)

Flow just wants Rider to have a good b-day.. all the other ones were always bad because of his father, but this time she saved enough money to rent a room at a motel, so he doesn’t be with his dad. Yeah it’s a motel not hotel but it’s better staying at his dad’s place. He’s super excited. :}

I can go into detail about them, tumblr isn’t as harsh with text than twitter. To clear things up, Yes Rider is named after Rider from the manga series, (probably be buds or be at each other throats) but also be name after Flo Rida.

Flow Ford and Rider Reyes

Flow:

Flow at young age was very sweet and kind, always caring to others, she always thoughtful about what she says, she even gives people flowers, drawing,cards to people who sad, even sharing her favorite stuffed animal thinking it would help.

Still at this tender age, around 3-4 her parents escaped Octo Canyon with other families. Once they got settled in Inkpolis, her family signed her up for kindergarten once she turned 5

Once she went to her first day of kindergarten is were she met Rider, and met other inklings, who she came to like quickly. There was other octolings too, she knew few of them.

Flow became friends with Rider, their personality just clicked. They even spent nap time together, usually around that time before coming up to surface she usually preferred sleeping away from people, even her parents, just her and her stuffed animal. Unfortunately after nap time a mean girl took her stuffed animal from her but she made friends with Rider who tried to get back but told the teacher that Rider hit her with face full of tears, Rider got upset and cried and tried to convince the teacher he didn’t hit her, even Flow tried to tell the teacher the truth but they didn’t listen and put Rider in time out until his dad could pick him up, Flow sat with him the entire time, even if she wasn’t in time out. Flow never got her stuffed animal back..

After the day ended, before Rider left Flow had a whole pack of strawberry, kiwi, grapes stickers, she gave Rider a kiwi sticker “you remind me of this, bye bye.” Rider was bit hesitant to take but did so, it had a smell, it smelled like kiwi “Woah, smelly stickers! Thank you Flow!” He said smiling before putting the sticker on his shirt “Bye Flow.”

Flow and her parents got into a bus to take them home…unfortunately the bus got into an accident,the bus was flipped over and split in half, killing Flows parents and deeply scaring her face. This hospitalized Flow for at least a week, effectively putting her into foster care.

Rider:

Rider like Flow was very nice boy, with few issues. But generally good hearted, but usually kept to himself.

But once Rider met Flow, her sweet voice, broken Inklish made him feel relaxed and happy, he just met her and she already wanted to share with him, when he spent his milk she offered hers, when his crayon broke she agreed offered hers, they quickly became friends, Flow lost her lunch box so Rider helped her find it, she was so kind to her, he felt like he should help her too. On their first day they already knew there’ll be best friends.

Rider home life wasn’t the best, his mom abandoned him, his dad wasn’t very..nice to him especially when he did something by accident, or wasn’t in his control. Rider HATED going home but Flow in short amount of time they were together made him feel safe, he can’t wait to see her again.

But sadly she didn’t return, the second day her sat at his desk wondering why his friend isn’t here, he asked his teacher, the other kids but no one answered or paid attention to him. He felt sad again, he felt alone again. But always kept the sticker that Flow gave him, even if it didn’t have a smell any more or could stick to anything, he never threw it away.

But one day Flow returned, but she looked different, tried, shaky, her faced had lot bad scars, all over her, she no longer wearing shorts and little tee, long sleeves with pants, and unfortunately the kids quickly jump to tease her, especially the mean girl who took her stuffed animal, thus making Flow cry, but didn’t stop her from pushing the girl, the teacher stepped in and broke the 2 up, or actually just pull Flow off the girl, she really good fighter for lil girl. Flow was placed in time out until nap time, Rider stayed by her side like she did for him a week ago.

Years passed, they grew up with each other, bodies developed, now entering Middle school year, label as bad kids, bullies, Miss and Mister Nobody, The Losers.

Flow would often bounce to house to house, eventually stop getting use to living anywhere because she’ll eventually wind up back at the orphanage. “No one wants a broken child..” Flow repeats to herself. Rider home life didn’t get any better, even worse as he got older. He started staying out more, even after dark, trying to avoid his dad, Flow is always with him, to comfort him, even sneaking through his window when his locks him in his room at night, Rider even have some of her pajamas when she does come over for the night. They both go to watch Turf Wars together, they’re still bit young to do it themselves but they’re not too far apart from entering. Their birthdays are days apart, Rider is April 7, Flow is April 8. Flow, even now still loves sharing, only with Rider but still, she even brings extra stuff to give to him, his father doesn’t really care for him, he doesn’t have a lunch to eat. Flow really dislikes Rider dad a lot, how does a parent treat their child so poorly?

Starting 8-12 grade they were a romantically couple, they even made new friends in high school, despite being The Losers or know bullies. Later info on their friends and adult life.
