These three pairings actually hurt me in how similar they are, not to mention how River’s quote here could apply to both Hob and Mobius as well as of course- herself. The three of them(River, Hob, and Mobius) all fall for this seemingly timeless ethereal being; the sunset that they don’t expect to admire them back.

But the quote I referenced above is shortly followed by The Doctor revealing that he’s been next to River this whole time, and that can kind of tie into both Morpheus and Loki in how they admire their partner back in their own repressed way. River, Hob, and Mobius are all under this assumption that there’s no way that their affection will be reciprocated, but they don’t realize that The Doctor, Morpheus, and Loki have been by their side through it all and it just- UGH. THE PARALLELS BREAK ME.

Anyways, if you can’t tell I’m not used to drawing real people but I did my best to make them look like the actual actors while somewhat retaining my art style 💀

Having brainworms about an old guard x 00q crossover where Q is a member of the guard. Just imagining he needs a break like Andy did but accidentally ends up joining MI6 and sticks it out for the bit. Just the possibilities ahhh. The fluffiness of Bond needing an extraction in the field and Q calling in his family to help turning into Bond fielding Joe and Nicky for embarrassing stories about Q and them telling ‘em with glee. To like major angst of Q being captured in the field and MI6 receiving live footage of his death to Q waking up and easily escaping. Just think of the range ahhhh

yess hello im out of work and can properly YELL OVER THIS yes yes yes to all also consider these:

both Q and bond getting kidnapped and the big bad tortures and then kills Q in front of him for refusing to cooperate (a la MI3) and leaves him alone there with Q's body to Think About Things and as bond breaks down in grief and anger and helplessness, Q reanimates and he's well shit

Q needing to call in the others for backup for a mission and bond getting to witness the absolute babying that Q endures when he's with his fam. nicky insisting he have thirds because he is too thin now, how could you let this happen, bambino?? andy teasing Q by grabbing every single glass of alcohol he tries to get his hands on ("too young for this, kid")

Q meeting nile and welcoming her as the newbie and bonding over their shared love of art. somehow he is still babied more than her. she proudly tells him it's because she saved all their asses.

joe giving bond the shovel talk but also the romance talk and the don't tell anybody about this talk. he is skeptical but he trusts in Q's judgment about bond. that goodwill evaporates the moment bond slags off joe's football team

bond having nightmares about witnessing Q die, and even though he knows he's alive, it was still very real to him. Q has to fish him out the bottom of a bottle and assure him that even back then he preferred to remain safe and build and maintain his family's weapons

suddenly the old man cardigans make sense because Q is legitimately an old man. bond calls him a cradle robber once and gets all red traffic lights for a week
