24.04.2024 // slowly becoming one with this desk. the wires bother me a lot so i've sought advice from a friend on how to organise them better. hopefully, they'll stop looking like such dump. a colleague also donated her french press to the office, which means that i don't have to spend $10 on coffee everyday because frankly, that is utterly absurd and I had, in fact, stopped drinking coffee for a while. but can't do without that caffeine; it keeps me functioning.

Found the cutest little tea house today. I worked on a term paper and studied some French while sipping just the nicest tea.

Exiting the house after 3 days of the Easter long weekend has proved to be an excellent idea. 10/10 will do again.

I am in the middle of working on a take home stat exam, mourning the content that could have been. I made myself an iced americano and now it’s time for me to lock in (I am locked out LOL).

Biggest life lesson or advice you would give to others:

The most important thing you can ever do for yourself is build up a good group of friends/family. Invest in your relationships no matter how difficult it is to fit in time. Because lots of things happen on this journey of life and different things will strike different ppl at different times and you will need people to lean on emotionally, physically, etc. I know we are in an age of independence and everyone living alone but no matter how much screentime we consume and advice we can get from youtube videos nothing replaces real humans who care about you and you care for them! A single smile from someone you know can do more for your problems than 100 informative youtube videos.

Personally I think sometimes as studyblrs we can become so engrossed in our studies and goals we may sacrifice time with loved ones without batting an eyelid. But we need those relationships!

It’s been rough lately but I’m trying to get back to it. I’m heading home for the weekend as a change of scenery and some cats, so another day of working on the ferry.

Cuddle some cats

Get enough sleep

procrastinated a bunch today oops (wached a bunch of adventure time ((finally got to see obsidian!)) and scrolled endesly)

relaxed quite a bit which was nice, did very little italian, ate ice cream and read some of my uni readings

i’ve fully turned into a nocturnal being. kind of miss the structure in my life that school usually provides, but also enjoying the relative freedom i have now.

03/03/24 • budapest was fun; hopefully, i will get back there for next year's hungarian gp. right now, it's time to refocus and prepare for the new term starting next tuesday

jan 20-27 2024 📖 first week of classes

been spending 8-5 in office daily and finally put the space together! im loving how it looks

classes are gonna be unexpectedly time-consuming but im looking forward to one of em at least & my research has been productive!

It's officially exam season. So, I'm trying to focus and cover as many topics as possible with full understanding. It seems like the past two months just flew by too fast. Lots of new experiences and I'm sure there are more to come.
