I made my first bracelet for It's Starkid, Innit!
Been thinking about this design since I got my beads. I wanna make another version that's glow in the dark but I think I might try letters first!

i was wondering if you or anyone else would happen to know what the meet and greet might be like? i've never been to anything like that before so i don't know what to expect
also i remember seeing peeps just after the tickets were sold talking about like bringing gifts n stuff for the cast at the meet and greet - is that something that's expected? what kind of thing do people normally bring? i fear that i won't have time to get/make gifts in time since i'm super busy atm.

Tbh I’ve not been to a m&g before so can’t really offer much insight, however I can definitely say that gifts are not expected
If you want to take something then absolutely go for it and I’m sure they’ll appreciate it, but there’s definitely no expectation and what starkid will love most is just having the chance to talk to and meet fans like you ❤️

for real though i don't know how i'm going to survive iski. like you don't understand i've been a starkid fan since their most recent show was a very potter sequel. when i was 14 i walked to and from school with the avpm & avps soundtracks on loop and dreamed what felt like a hopeless little dream, that someday i would be able to see them live. starkid gave me so much hope and joy and inspiration and windows into friendships in a time when my mental health was by far the lowest it's ever been. i am 28 now and it's happening in 15 days. holy shit holy shit holy fucking shit fucking holy fucking shit. literally what am i supposed to do with myself

It's finally time to talk about twisted!!! Can't believe last time I saw starkid we were begging them for spoilers about this show and now it's 11 years later and I'm still here lmao
Here's the discussions on songs from:

What would be your absolute top choice 'it probably won't happen but I will go feral if they perform this' song?
I would die for p much anything from twisted tbh
The whole show is just starkid at its best like the soundtrack is just non-stop bangers (take off your clothes is the only skip imo)
If I had to go for a number 1 choice, it would probably be no one remembers achmed, just because I'd love to be in an audience that shouts 'he fucked a tiger' at the top of their voices
However happy ending is my actual favourite song from twisted
And I would kill for a brian/meredith duet of a thousand and one nights
2. What would be your realistic top choice? Like you'd love to see this song AND you think they might actually perform it?
I think there's a fair chance we might get achmed as it must be a pretty fun song for them to perform tho I'm not sure there's a natural substitute for Joe in the line up.….
3. Which songs from twisted do you think will actually make it on the setlist
Twisted is such a weird one because there are so many songs that would make sense on a starkid setlist but idk if they’d have the guts to do them without dylan??
Like this is only a one off show so I don’t have any real hopes of them doing anything fancy with new arrangements which makes me real worried for the status of twisted songs on the setlist
But like… SURELY they must perform some of them they’re so gooood !!! Idk what do you guys think?

sorry if this is a silly question or has been asked before but can anyone give a rough idea on how many bracelets i should make??
mine are quite complicated (because like a MORON /lh i thought itd be cool to make clay beads and paint them with musical logos and characters) and they take like 3+ days (drying time 😭) to be fully ready and i dont know whether to continue doing the cool ones that take ages or to also make some normal ones as well 😨 it depends on how many everyone else is bringing

Absolutely not a silly question but it’s also probably not one that I can give an actual answer to
The whole point of this is just to have fun, be creative and make friends so it’s literally just whatever you want to make it
I’ve seen some people who’ve made 5, I’ve seen some people who’ve made 120 and both ways of approaching it are amazing 🥰
Personally I love that you’re putting so much time into each bracelet- they sound incredible and I’d love to receive something made with that much heart ❤️ but it’s also very valid to want to give bracelets to as many people as possible 🤷♀️
So honestly idk, just go with whatever vibe works for you and have fun… you’re welcome for the very helpful feedback 😅

So, do we think they're going to film the concert? I'm like 80% they will
Ahh see I'd be more 80% they won't
Don't get me wrong I would LOVE them to film the show, I just think there's very little precedent for them filming their one off performances... the only ones I can think of them filming are Homecoming and AVSR which both feel like special cases?
Plus I reckon we would have heard if they were doing digital tickets by now
Idk maybe I'm wrong but I would work on the assumption that they'll allow the audience to film the show but won't be professionally recording anything themselves (so team effort in getting lots of footage uploaded to youtube pls)

That song is INCREDIBLE like it's so emotionally impactful and Clark has such a great voice but realistically it's not gonna happen without Joe. I will forever be frustrated that I hadn't developed a full appreciation for this song when they performed it at leakycon london
2. What would be your realistic top choice? Like you'd love to see this song AND you think they might actually perform it?
Sidekick is always a great time and I'd love to see Joey perform it in 2024. Like I was so impressed when he sang this originally in avpsy because his voice had improved so much and it's improved EVEN MORE since then so I think he'd smash it
Having said that I reckon they're much more likely to go with as cool as I think I am or made in america for a Joey solo
3. Which songs from avpsy do you think will actually make it on the setlist
Honestly I'm v unsure on the answer to this. They performed LOADS of avpsy songs at leakycon london but idk if that's because they really like those songs or just because it was the most recent show
Personally this album is a lot of skips for me and I'm not convinced we'll get any avpsy songs... my best guess would be sidekick or wizard of the year (I think Corey could smash this tbh) but I think the most likely scenario is 0 avpsy songs sorry

i think it would be fun if, if they do back to hogwarts (which they better after putting the instrumental in the teaser i’m js /lh), as many of us as possible yell FIND instead of hufflepuff when they list the houses
This is a very cute idea!
Also letting my audience expectations be known now:
Not alone -> everybody needs to sing Darren's little riffs
Granger danger -> please somebody join me in singing Joey's part he always looks sad when everyone sings Lauren's part
Just generally lots of volume and clapping along to upbeat songs please let's make them feel like rockstars <3

Good day to you!! This account is so cool and I'm loving seeing everyone's bracelets! They look so fun so now I want to make some when I finally get a bit of free time. However, I have no clue when it comes to crafty things, so I was wondering, how long on average would you say it takes to make a bracelet? Also, if you don't mind, do you (or anyone else who sees this) have any recommendations for where I could get a decent set of supplies to make the bracelets?

For how long it takes to make bracelets- it’s v dependent on how complex you make it/how big your beads are. I’ve been using teeny tiny beads so it takes longer but I reckon I can do a simple bracelet in about 10 minutes, so it’s not too bad!
Also practice makes perfect so you definitely get quicker over time 😅
As for where to buy supplies, I can’t set a v good example because I just bought mine on Amazon 💀 I had a look in hobby craft but tbh it’s quite spenny so I went for the more budget friendly option
If you’re not super crafty, I’d recommend bigger beads as they should be easier to work with. I’ve not got a specific set I can recommend but you’re going to need:
-elastic
-letter beads (mine aren’t sorted by letter and it’s such a pain so maybe get one that’s properly organised)
-colourful beads (I’d probably go for pony beads or clay beads- I’ve been using seed beads but they can be a bit of a pain because they’re so small)
-maybe some superglue if you’re lazy like me and cba to learn how to tie your knots properly but it’s not a necessity
