Beard you teach music. I wanna take your advice. I want to start to an ensturment. I am stuck between violin and piano. What do you think?

Wow - what a difficult choice!

Both are lovely, though challenging in different respects. I think as a “first instrument” piano has a lot of helpful, transferable skills - such as reading in both the treble and bass clefs, that lend themselves to being able to branch out if you wish.

However I firmly believe that intrinsic motivation is key. The drive and desire to actually want to practice enough, to ensure you’ll progress. Pick the one that most excites you, because all instruments are challenging, all instruments are fun, all instruments can bring great satisfaction.
