I passed all of my classes! Whooo! Summer break finally! I haven’t taken a whole summer off in a year and a half. It’s been straight work and school. Finally it’s just work for three months and I’m happy about that.

I officially finished my time at city college.
Yesterday was the last of my finals and it feels so surreal to be going to my chosen university in the fall.
I’ve been working at this since I was 18. I’m 28 now. My health complicated things but I’m finally here.
I had to work full time and maintain a full time school schedule through it all and it’s been tough. I’ve cried and wanted to give up so many times.
I’m not going to say what college I’m going to but I got accepted into Berkeley as one of them and for me that’s saying something.
I never thought I had a chance at my city university let alone a college as prestigious as Berkeley.
I’m so proud of who I’ve become and where I am going. It’s never too late and just know you’re never too old for education.

I’ve been listening to Paris by Paris Hilton on Libby.
And I am blown away. It’s like a horror story. I can’t believe some of the things she’s saying. Truly terrifying.
I am truly in awe of her. She is an incredibly resilient human being.
I highly recommend taking time to listen to her story.

Ugh I want to so bad! 🥹 I’m hoping he just stays and becomes mine accidentally on purpose. I’m definitely trying to give him as much love as I know how to give and he’ll accept! lol he’s still so skittish but he gets excited when I come home from work. He’s just playing hard to get. 🥹 but I’ll keep trying!
We found a lost little white bunny yesterday evening and we took it to the vet to be microchipped but sadly it didn’t have one. We also asked the neighbors if they lost a bunny. Sadly no.
And it’s really really cute.
If we can find someone to care for him I’d be happy to let him go..
The problem is I’ve already secretly named him Moon.
Or Cilantro.
I can’t decide. 🙈

Bunny update!
The bunny is still mine…Muahahaha
But we are still actively looking for a home for him….(sigh)
He’s a very sweet bunny.
I just have no idea how to bond with him. Today he was pissed that I was cleaning his cage. He tried to nip me, but I just kept going and gave him a small carrot as a treat after. I read they’re not supposed to have those often but more so as a treat.
I’m in the middle of finals with school, but Friday is my last final day and after that I can do proper research to see how I can be a better foster mom.
