Adding onto this
In the clip, you can see Cole look at Kai with shock when he intitally grabs onto him. But then his facial expression visablely softens, and he leans towards Kai, before being hit in the arm by Jay. And its litterally the cutest thing ever
Firm believer that theres always been at least one lavashipper on Ninjagos storyboard or animation team.
Like, heres this from season one
Genuniely, what was the reason to have Kai nuzzle into Cole's chest. AND HOLD HIM BY HIS HIPS OF ALL PLACES.
Like i understand he was happy and proud of Cole for doing the triple tiger sashay and winning the fangblade, but is that not a bit extra?
There just isn't anything hetro to say about this.
The Ninjago crew has lavashippers on it and you can't convince me otherwise.

Why is Kai/Zane called oppositeshipping. Like i understand that their powers are kinda oopisite of eachother but why not something like meltedshipping.
The names just kind of disapointing and doesnt rlly make sense compared to other ninjago ships like bruise, plasma, lava, glacier, etc.
