i'm gonna be real i'm getting emotional over the fact that trent reznor manages to live happily to this age after he posted about the downward spiral's 30th anniversary, and how much he has changed and recovered from that place mentally. considering the themes in his works and his past experiences a lot of people would take him for an artist likely to die young but. it genuinely makes me so happy to see that man age and be successful and keep on living and creating without being in that very dark place anymore
